“Lauren M. kept us apprised each day on how our cat was doing and sent us pictures. We appreciated her attention to details and reports. This was the first time we have used rover.com -- and will definitely reach out to her again in the future.”

About: I am able to give medication and medical shots to pets, I have experience with this as my one dog has diabetes and requires two shots a day. My other dog is a reactive dog as well so I have some experience in trying to handle a reactive dog. I also have had multiple puppies and senior dogs that have exposed me to the different type of care and attention they need, especially when the owners are away. I have experience with dog sitting since I watched my neighbors dogs for years now and have previously worked with one of their dogs that had special needs. I am in the summer before I leave for college so I am home and able to watch the pets at pretty much anytime needed. I am busy with softball tournaments some weekends, but the weekends I do not have that I am around in the area mainly at anytime. I am able to crate a dog, take a walk friendly dog out on walks, feed them, administered medication if required, and play with the dog.

“Maggie was absolutely fabulous with our two senior cats who are set in their ways! She was able to coax them out from hiding and they even accepted some pets from her (that’s not an easy task). She left our home neat and clean. If you’re looking for someone reliable, kind, and respectful - Maggie should be your choice!!!”

About: Do you have a high-energy dog who would love to go on a run? How about an anxious cat who needs their space respected, a dog with separation anxiety, or a senior pet who's particular about how their meds are administered? Whoever your pet is, I'm sure they have their own individual personalities, quirks, and needs...just like people do! I learned this at a young age when I used to house-sit for a neighbor with four cats. All four were totally different: there was a cuddler, a hider, a snoozer, and a biter. They taught me that patience and respect are just as important as love in building a relationship with an animal. Since then, I've had 20+ years of experience with animals with unique needs, including having owned a dog with separation anxiety (he tore out a tooth and got onto the roof once!) and a deaf senior cat (I think she could see ghosts). I've volunteered at animal shelters and have pet-sat for every personality under the sun! I would love to find out more about your pet and how we can have the best possible time together. I have been a runner for 15+ years and would love to discuss taking your dog out for a jog! Up to 2h/week total. I have a very flexible schedule at the moment! I can make time for your pet any time, up to 6 days a week total. I am able to provide any support needed at your home, including feeding, playing, administering meds, walking, and taking your pet out for a run!

I understand that every pet has a unique personality. Some pets love active play and exercise, while others prefer quiet companionship and extra cuddles. I take the time to build trust and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule that would offer me the opportunity to work with you and providing what you need for your pet care needs When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, fresh water, medications (if needed), walks, playtime, and any specific preferences your pet may have. I also respect my clients’ homes by keeping things clean, secure, and treating their space with the same care I would expect for my own. My goal is to provide dependable, loving care and give pet parents peace of mind knowing their furry family members are in good hands.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since the beginning of my adult life. My family dog I trained as a puppy, learning the acute patience required to not only train a reactive dog but give a reactive dog the care and companionship she deserves. From this, I learned how to walk, feed, train, bathe, and even groom pets all in attempt to give my dog the best life she deserves. I’m currently a graduate student at IU, so I’m always free to walk your pups in the morning or evening! I have great weekend availability from Friday to Sunday, meaning you can take those short trips without the added stress of finding a pet friendly hotel! Dogs need exercise to live a full and happy life! My idea of walking and sitting is making sure your pup is active and healthy, whether that means going for long walks or playing fetch in the park. I have experience with reactive dogs, so depending on your dog, I can make adjustments to the walks I take that is safe for both the dog and other people as well.
“Rachael was so thorough with her rover card comments that gave me peace of mind that my cat was in great hands. It truly makes a difference when you know a fellow animal lover is caring for your baby. Rachael took great pictures of my cat Jiji that also gave me comfort while being away from home for the week. I would 100% ask Rachael to watch Jiji again!!”

“Ariana was so sweet and responsive. She took great care of our big sweet boy. He took some pictures too which is nice. We will definitely keep using Ariana for walking Rio. Thank you so much!”

I traveled to Chicago for weekend and needed someone to take care of my dog Tori. Xinyue was quick to response to my request for dog visiting. Thanks God that Xinyue living at the same apartment complex. Xinyue took care of Tori well and walked Tori for olayed with Tori while I was away. Tori was very happy thanks to Xinyue.

Mackenzie was an amazing pet sitter! She was always timely, friendly, and professional, which gave me so much peace of mind. I especially appreciated how she was able to get my shy cat to take her meds which is no small feat! On top of that, her photography skills were such a bonus; I loved getting thoughtful, high-quality updates. I’m so grateful for her care and would absolutely recommend her!

Aspen was amazing and worth every penny! Not only did she provide an enjoyable experience for my puppy during two drop-in visits, but she also went above and beyond when she heard fireworks nearby. Although my dog was not displaying signs of fear, she picked up on his subtle signs of discomfort and texted me to ask if she could close the windows and turn on the TV for background noise. Only an experienced, professional, and caring person would have done this! I truly believe that if it was anyone else, they would not have noticed the signs or ignored them. Thanks to Aspen, my dog stayed calm, and I was able to relax and enjoy my trip knowing that he was in good hands. I also loved receiving updates through the detailed report cards and photos. Highly recommend!
