About: I’ve been taking care of all kinds of animals for over 8 years now! I love dogs and cats, but I’ve also cared for horses, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, and more! I’m a full-time university student, but I’ll still have plenty of time to care for your animals! Especially in the evenings and afternoons! I’m free most of the summer as well! I have a big yard for your pups to run around in, and a friendly little pup of my own! I can crate your pup if needed, or I can also drop in to your home as well!

About: I have taken care of a dog, a cat, and farm animals since I was 12 years old. I love walking long distances with my dog. I am also very good at reading animal body language and I know how to do all of the basic animal care necessities. I am currently working from home so I would have lots of time for walks and hikes and play. I will make sure your dog comes home happy and tired. I do have a golden retriever and our schedule that your dog would also follow unless they’re special needs is we wake up at seven am, we go outside to go potty, then feed them they play and rest then we go for a walk. We love our Whipple Creek 🌲❤️ Trail then we drive home and rest. Then later I give them their second feeding, take them out to go to the bathroom and take a small walk in our neighborhood before it’s time to rest and chill and head to bed. I live in a cozy gated apartment with my husband, Greg and my golden retriever. My husband works as a in-home caregiver and when he gets home he helps me out. He is also an animal lover, and if I am housesitting, he travels with me as well as my very friendly golden retriever. I promise as a married couple we will respect your house and environment we will also bring our own sleeping equipment and we don’t mind doing house chores.

About: Hi all! My name is Peyton, I'm 20, and from Vancouver, Washington. I recently worked at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington for nearly 2 years, where I was an Animal Care Technician, working with all types of animals, including small animals like rabbits/hamsters, as well as reptiles, with a focus in feline care and behavior management. Here I performed basic animal husbandry like feeding, cleaning, and daily monitoring for changes in health, to small and large animal handling, handling and administering medications/medication schedules, special diets, managing animals with diabetes, administering vaccinations, wound/infection/fungus/stitch care, and working with and managing animals with behavioral struggles from all different backgrounds, genetic or epigenetic causes. Also a large part of my job being picking up poo of course! Unfortunately I had to leave my position at HSSW due to going to college for Animal Rehabilitation, which is why I'm now here on Rover, to stay connected with the animals, as well as to help support my journey! Alls to say, I’m certified in animal safety and Fear Free, with a professional background in animal handling, behavior, and medical needs. I have 3 smaller fur babies, all of which are rescues. Lulu, 12 y/o English Bulldog (still kickin' it, I know!), Piggy 4 y/o Micro-Bully, and Heather an 8 y/o Staffordshire Bull Terrier, who was rescued from a popular dog fighting facility in Houston, TX. This had caused some nervous and defensive behaviors within her, but she has taught me more than any animal has ever taught me, especially on how to manage these types of behavioral situations that feel hopeless. However, through patience and perseverance, today she's living a normal and silly dog life, you would never be able to tell what she has gone through now, she is now my dog that teaches other dogs how to dog properly! Back to why I call them my small fur babies, my family also has a dairy farm of about 30+ cows! Here I also provide basic animal husbandry, and have gained experience in large animal handling and behavior management, so don't worry about your Great Dane or Mastiff! With this I participated in 4-H for about 8 years, helping others on large animal/livestock handling, health, procedures, and agricultural education. Predominantly though, I have grown up with and cared for all different types of dogs. And to not forget the little guys if there's any fellow fish tank enthusiasts out there, I have lots of experience in owning and caring for different types of freshwater fish, including bettas, pea puffers, goldfish, etc. Last but not least, I've also had hamsters personally alongside caring for them professionally. Overall, I have heavy personal and professional experience with all types of animals, whether that's flat-faced or scaly, sleepy or the energy of 10 huskies, and from the smallest to the biggest pets, whether that's literally, mentally, or in their heart. I'm mostly available during the weekdays, from early morning, to evenings and shorter same-day notice booking will depend on how short of notice due to time, location, and my college class schedule. Weekends are more difficult for me due to personal responsibilities, but I am not completely unavailable, please don't be afraid to ask! You, your pets, and your homes privacy, safety, and quality of care is extremely important to me. If you're unhappy with any service please do not be afraid to let me know so I can do better. Before providing a service I will ask and make sure of any parameters and instructions you might have, and will uphold them. It's also a promise that I will communicate thoroughly with you on general updates, and if I have any questions or concerns, and I will be sure to take pics of your fur baby to share with you! I will do all in my power to give them the same level of care as you would, or if they were my own. As for my home, I have a 6-foot fenced, average sized yard lined with river rock, as well as a side yard bedded with bark dust if your pup prefers to do business there. I currently have 3 female mature dogs, so boarding is very dependent on what you think of your pets compatibility. Due to this boarding is stricter with dogs and puppies rather than small animals but inquiries are always welcome!

About: I have two miniature Dachshunds who are my best friends. I deeply understand the need for someone trustworthy to not only care but also love your dog when you can’t. I’m here to help. I work 7 days on 7 days off. During my off time I’m home without any other responsibilities and have all day to take care of your best friend. I have a fenced yard and two friendly small dogs to keep your baby company. My dogs are free to roam the house, but also have a guest room for them to keep space if they need it.

About: I’ve been loving on four-leggeds for as long as I can remember—and I’ve meant every second of it. Over the past 15 years, I’ve raised two mastiffs (a Fila and a Cane Corso), both topping 180 lbs—so I’m very comfortable with big personalities and even bigger pups. My heart dog, Gauge, lived to 15, and losing him last March felt like losing a piece of myself. Caring for animals has always felt like a privilege to me. Earning their trust? That’s everything. I know every home has its own rules—whether your dog is crate-trained or couch-spoiled—and I’ll always follow your preferences to a T. That said… dogs here are treated like family. Think cozy, calm, and lots of attention. I’m a little (okay, very) obsessed with making sure they feel safe, happy, and completely at home. I’m fully prepared with all the accoutrements (think toys, high-quality treats, etc) to make your babies stay feel like their home away from home. And I simply can’t wait! If I’ve been hired to take care of someone’s fur baby, then that is my number 1 priority. I build my day around the dog’s needs. I make time for what’s necessary, and being a long time dog owner myself, having dogs in the house just comes naturally. Walks happen daily with or without pups around, so having a dog to join me would just be an added *major bonus. Potty breaks and special care requests are something I just tend to as needed. I care for pets in either my home or my clients home to my clients specifications. I do have a fully fenced back yard with a large grassy area. There’s an off-leash dog park right down the street from me that’s never very busy. I’d love to be able to take pups to the park. I also walk everyday and will be taking the dog on walks with me. I have a 5 year old son who loves animals and loves to help out with ‘the chores’ that come along with animal care.

About: I’ve had dogs, cats, and exotic pets me whole life! I absolutely adore animals and enjoy spending time with them. I’ve had big and little dogs, cats, lizards, fish . And would love to take care of your family members as I would my own! I’m currently shifting to an opening schedule but it is a bit crazy, depending on distance from my work I can let out during my lunches as well. I do tend to stay at the house I’m sitting at so the pet doesn’t feel alone I won’t be able to bring pets to my home as unfortunately my dog is reactive. So I will not offer bording. But am more than happy to meet your pet in your home! I usually will ask for a favorite treat or snack for the pet and pick it up as a peace offering. I enjoy playtime and snuggles with all types of pets

About: I have been taking care of animals my whole life and have a passion for making sure they feel loved! I always had pets growing up with my family having up to 3 dogs and 5 cats at one point! About: Hello, my name is Kathy. I am a owner of an adorable black cat named Roger. Pets love me so much friends call me the pied piper when their dogs follow me around. I have 6 current clients that I pet sit for. Duties include, letting dogs out to go potty, taking for walks, feeding and staying overnight as needed. I can even bring in the mail and water your plants as needed. I prefer to work in Vancouver but am willing to travel to ridgefield, camas and battleground as well. Travel to Portland will cost an additional $10 each day for travel. I work part time but have a flexible schedule and can work around your pets needs. I am available for overnights m-s except for when traveling on vacation. I love taking your dogs for walks and playing them at home. I love to snuggle with your cats and dogs and will make sure they are well cared for and loved.

About: I’ve had animals my entire life, from big to small and both cats and dogs and i’ve always loved animals more than anything. I’ve also dog sat and taken care of neighbor, family members and friends animals and it’s more of a hobby and less of a job! I will feed, exercise, bathe and comb animals if/when needed and will love every part of it!! I work part-time at Anthropologie with flexible scheduling—typically 4-hour shifts a few days a week. This gives me plenty of availability throughout my days to hangout, play, and care for your pet! I've always been comfortable around animals and genuinely enjoy spending time with them, whether it's daily walks, playtime, or just keeping them company. My schedule varies weekly, but I'm very reliable about communicating my work shifts in advance so we can plan accordingly. I live with my mom and our friendly pup Halbert, and we have a fenced backyard that's perfect for dogs to run around safely! I'm pretty active and love exercising, so any dog staying with us will get tons of walks, playtime, and attention. Between my mom and me, there's usually always someone home with the pets, though I'm the main one taking care of them. We're both huge animal lovers and understand the importance of good care. Our place is super dog friendly—we let our dog hang out on the couch and sleep wherever, but I can also put them in a crate if needed. I'm totally flexible though, so just let me know what your dog's routine is like at home and I'll stick to whatever works best for them!
