About: I’ve had many experiences taking care of pets for others, I’ve stayed overnight, been there during the day, and I also have my own personal I’ve grown up taken care of. I love animals and taking care of them make me happy :) Im working as a CNA part time and so I will be available all day on weekends and Monday, Tuesdays and Fridays before 9am and after 6pm, Wednesdays after 2 pm and Thursdays before 2 pm. I have a big yard, fence, and a dog and two cats, all very friendly. I can do whatever is needed for your pet including washing, crating, etc.

“Misty was an amazing cat sitter. She is especially accommodating—we had our regular sitter bail on us the day before we were set to leave the state for the holidays—and she answered our request to pet sit for a week, over the holidays of all times, within 30 minutes! She was very detailed in her communications about how our pets were doing each night, and she wasn’t afraid to ask a question if she had one regarding how to deal with anything our animals were doing that wasn’t specifically listed in the instructions, which I especially appreciated. She could have easily done the bare minimum with things—but she put in the effort to go the extra mile by doing things like staying with our cats for extended periods to make sure they were eating their dinner when she could have fed them, assumed they would eat correctly, and call it a day. Misty also made good decisions on her own if we didn’t answer a question she had while she was at our home for a drop-in. Our cats seemed to be very comfortable with her, they are very particular and don’t warm up to everyone; however Misty was able to get them to eat their dinner better than most past sitters (they tend to be reserved and get anxious when we’re gone, they don’t eat well with many past sitters—but this wasn’t a problem!)”

I work East Coast hours, so I start early (5:30am) and finish around 2 PM. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and any other preferences to help your pet feel comfortable and secure. In my home, they’ll enjoy a fully fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time, a quiet, comfortable environment, and a walkable neighborhood that’s perfect for daily walks.

About: I have dog sat multiple times for family friends, usually 3 dogs at a time, no problem. The owners always return to their dogs being happy and healthy. I am self employed now so I am very flexible and will be available pretty much all day to take care of your fur babies. I am very flexible caring for your animals in whatever way you’re most comfortable with and whatever ways work well for your fur baby.

About: I've had cats in my life continuously for the past 40 years. My last cat lived to be 19 and she had a good life with me as an indoor-only cat. I treat cats with kindness always. I'm an expert litter scooper and not afraid to clean up any icky little messes that might happen. I feel that I'm good at reading a cat's mood, for instance, knowing if they want to be petted and reading any signals of "that's enough". Over the years I have been trusted by neighbors and family members to do in-home visits while they are on vacation. I want to share my capabilities with other cat owners so that you can rest easy that your cat is well cared for while you are away. I am recently retired from an office administration job, so I have a very open and flexible schedule. I am available most weekdays and weekends as well. I will take care in your home to follow your instructions fully and leave the feeding area and litter box area clean and tidy. I will happily spend time playing with your cat(s) and giving them affection (unless you tell me otherwise). I'll be there to check on their welfare and make them feel happy to have a visitor while you are away from home.

About: I recently moved here from Birmingham, Alabama and pet sat for a decade and I want to continue to connect with new families and their little floofs here in the pnw! I have worked with all ages of cats and dogs. I’ve also taken care of fish, hamsters and even bees on occasions. In the past I have had the same eight families I have looked after and met other pet families through them over time too. I have a fully free schedule since I just moved here and searching for a part time job. In the past I have been in school, worked at restaurants, and consistently pet sat as a combined full time because looking after little ones is a part of my daily routine that I cherish and wish to continue. So I am excited and able to be with your little ones as much as needed. I want the pet(s) to be relaxed and comfortable in their own homes when looking after them in order to not disrupt their regular routine too much. I prefer to meet the family and little one(s) before caring for the animal(s) before overnight sitting or for just drops ins. This way I can be well aquatinted with everyone and bring sense of calm into everyone’s daily routines from the start. This way, I can also learn in person their exact routines, any medication’s if applicable, any quirky things the pets might request in their routines, ie I once had an elderly dog thatI looked after that wanted his dinner “ heated up” in the microwave. So I would make “beeping’ nosies and pretend that his food was fancy like a humans. The family and I found it as a cute and an easy way to make him feel happy and eager to eat. The quirky the better is what I have always looked forward to when bonding with the little ones. For a meet and greet, if the family and animal(s) are ok with more of a “come on in” policy where there’s not a meet and greet first, particularly for drop ins, I’m more than happy to use with this method as well. For dogs in particular, I want to make sure that I keep up with their exercise routines with any amount of walks requested. If the family and floof(s) are more adventurous, I would happily like to take them on hikes, if it is wished to be incorporated into their routines.

I simply ask that you share the command words and routines you use at home so we can maintain consistency and help your pup learn more effectively. He is a gentle, patient boy who loves making new canine friends and would be a great companion for your dog. Our home also includes three dog-savvy cats, two of whom are blind and exceptionally gentle. Because of our experience caring for animals with different needs, I’m comfortable administering medication and providing attentive, compassionate care. Above all, I will do my absolute best to accommodate both you and your fur baby, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and at home while they’re in my care. I currently work full-time but with a hybrid schedule (I work remotely Tuesdays and Fridays), and I have weekends off. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, I work from 9-5pm. For boarding, I have a fully fenced yard, a very friendly and gentle male dog, and three dog-savvy cats who love the company of canines. We live next to park, which would be perfect for walks. If I am going to your home, I have a reliable vehicle to get to and from your home and can accommodate you and your fur-baby's needs.

About: I was a foster parent for Austin Pets Alive out of Texas for 13 years and through Laramie Peak/Oregon Humane Society for the past two years. I have experience with felines and canines of varying medical needs ranging from pills and suspensions to management of diabetes. I have a strong history and enjoy working with/training dogs from the most confident personalities through the intense pullers, overstim doggos, and reactive canines. I believe in respecting you and your animals’ boundaries and utilizing positive reinforcement only. I have open availability weekday afternoons and evenings as well as weekends. I love those early morning walks/visits as well as afternoons and evenings. If your baby is most comfortable being walked when other four legged friends aren’t around, I would love to help accommodate as I don’t hesitate coming at the wee hours or staying off the beaten path. Have a higher energy dog that likes to run and/or hike? I’m a runner and volunteer for the dog run team at Oregon Humane Society. When caring for your animal, everyone’s safety is of utmost importance! Share with me all the nuance of your baby’s personality and I’ll help them have the best and safest time! About: On my mother’s farm I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, ducks, horses, and a donkey! I have fostered multiple puppies and helped with their potty training. I currently own two dogs myself, a 2 yr old Great Dane and a 12 yr old Blue Heeler who has dementia. I understand the patience furry family members need, as well has routine. I do my best to make every pet and person feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m currently working on my Master’s degree and as a para at a local school. I am available during the week before 7am and after 3pm. Weekends have varied availability so be sure to check my calendar! I am a certified teacher so I have completed background checks and can promise I will treat your home better than my own during drop-in visits. I am also comfortable providing medication if needed.
