About: "As a dedicated and reliable pet caregiver, i will provide an experience tailored to your dog’s unique personality and needs. I understand that your dog is a beloved family member, which is why I prioritize maintaining their familiar routine—from specific feeding times and favorite walking routes to their preferred sleeping spots. Whether your pup is an energetic adventurer who needs plenty of playtime or a calm senior who appreciates gentle companionship and belly rubs, I offer attentive, one-on-one care in a safe and loving environment. You can travel with total peace of mind knowing I provide regular photo updates, clear communication, and the same level of affection I give my own pets. My goal is to ensure your dog stays happy, healthy, and tired out until your return!" As a part-time employed Mom and Grandma, I like to be busy and have time to spare for loving more than just my family and pets. At this moment, I have 3 dogs and two cats, all who need my personal attention several times a day. I would love to do that for you too. I know what it’s like to be stressed about your kitty or dog while away and I can help relieve that, even for just a day or a week.
“Tracy took such good care of our three dogs while we were away. She communicated and sent us pictures and updates the whole time we we knew how they were doing. Would recommend and will rebook. Thanks Tracy!”

“I’m a very anxious pet mom and was terrified to leave my boys with anyone but Isabella eased all my worries. Seeing all of the photos each visit, all I could see from my boys was nothing but happiness, and the fun that they were having. Anyone would be thrilled to have Isabella be the one taking care of their family.”

“Nicole provided great communication, professionalism and warmth. She provided us with peace of mind that our diabetic cat would get the care he needs while we were out of town. She will absolutely be a crucial part of our pet-care for all future needs!”

“This is my second time booking with her, and she’s been amazing both times! She always lets me know when she’s on her way, sends daily updates with lots of pictures, and takes such great care of my cats. Being away from them is so much less stressful knowing they’re in such good hands. She’s incredibly kind, reliable, and communicative, and I always come home to two happy, well-cared-for cats. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter—I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Vivian watched our 4 cats while we were away for more than a week. She was great with updates and photos each day she visited to checked on them. We will definitely book her again!”

About: Hi! I’ve always loved animals and grew up helping care for pets, so I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, basic grooming, and giving each pet the patience and attention they need. Now that my husband and I have bought our first home, I’m excited to fill it with wagging tails and happy paws. I work from home on East Coast hours, so my afternoons are wide open for exercise, companionship, and plenty of one-on-one care. I’m attentive, dependable, and happy to follow your pet’s usual routine so they feel safe and right at home. Working from home gives me the flexibility to fit my day around your pet’s routine. I work East Coast hours, so I start early (5:30am) and finish around 2 PM. Throughout the day, I have time for potty breaks, playtime, and check-ins, and my afternoons are open for walks, companionship, enrichment, and quality time together. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, my goal is to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and any other preferences to help your pet feel comfortable and secure. In my home, they’ll enjoy a fully fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time, a quiet, comfortable environment, and a walkable neighborhood that’s perfect for daily walks.
“Stacy did a great job taking care of our cat, Artemis. She provided many photos of him and we could tell he was being well taken care of - even when we came back, I think he missed her! We will definitely rebook if we need a cat sitter again.”

“I can’t thank Molly enough! This was my first time using Rover, and I was nervous to have a stranger come to my house to check on the pup especially since I was out of town. Molly went above and beyond to put my mind at ease and even sent me pictures of my sweet girl to let me know that she made it and everything was ok. I will definitely be booking with Molly again!”

“Francisca is amazing! She cared for my two cats, one of which is mostly feral and requires daily medication, with ease. I got daily updates and felt confident that my kitties were well cared for. If you're looking for a reliable and loving cat sitter, book with her!”

“Jenny provides great care for my dog. She is very reliable and prompt in responding. She has gone above and beyond in helping out in difficult situations. I really appreciate her help.”

“Annabelle was wonderful! This was our first trip out of town without our baby. Annabelle made sure we were comfortable with her service and answered any and all questions we had promptly. Very professional and kind to our kitty. I will be requesting her if she is available the next time we use Rover.”

“Miss Tiffany immediately bonded with our fussy old cat, Leo. She understood what he wanted and delivered copious pets, snuggles and treats for 12 days. The photos were a testament to his happiness. We couldn’t be happier with her service and most definitely will request her again should the need arise.”

About: I’ve been dog sitting for different families for about two years and have really enjoyed it. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable when their owners are away, so I do my best to keep their routines consistent and give them plenty of attention, care, and affection. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, cleaning up after them, or just spending time with them, I treat every dog as if they were my own. Families have trusted me to care for their dogs, and I take that responsibility seriously. I do work full time Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9-5, the end time varies but never goes past 5! So I’ll be able to go straight there to let them out to go potty and play with them! I have Wednesdays and weekends off! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal as possible. I follow all instructions provided by the owner, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and any special care requirements. I make sure pets have plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while also respecting the client’s home and keeping it clean and secure. My goal is for both pets and owners to feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while they’re apart
About: I've looked after cats and dogs since I was 18. I currently own one cat and my Service Dog. I've observed and helped out with different dog trainers in the past. If there is something I am unsure about, I know how to direct you to. I am on disability. I am home most days. If I am out at a dog show or trial, I will either bring everyone with me or not trial. I do have crates, if needed. We could also visit my sister in law and play with her Springer puppy. She does have a nice, big fenced yard. If dogs have a good recall, we can play in the bigger yard but it isn't fenced. I live in an rv, but I have it fenced off. There is a small potty area for the dogs. My dog is friendly with anyone and everyone. He loves other dogs and is always happy to play.
“Cassandra was amazing! She loved on our sweet girl made sure she was all taken care of while I was out of town and even dealt with me forgetting to turn off the alarm multiple times. Will definitely have her back!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
