“Emily & Eric were both friendly and very understanding to my dog’s personality and needs. They took great care of Zuri! I would have them care for Zuri again! THANK YOU.”

“We have used Carolyn so many times now, and she is always so caring with our Tato. She makes sure he receives plenty of attention and gives us lots of pictures and videos to enjoy. We will always recommend Carolyn, you won’t regret it!!”

“Steve provided a great experience for us and our dog Mochi! We left over the 4th of July and she was with him for over a week. She came back to us happy, healthy and tuckered out after playing with the other pups in Steve's care. Steve was great about communication, flexible with us in our scheduling of our meet and greet and overall just wonderful to our dog Mochi! I hope to be able to book with Steve again in the future. I know Mochi would love it!”

“Leah and Chris were amazing! It was so obvious our boys were having a blast with them and that they loved them as their own. We got daily updates with amazing photos of the dogs and saw they were being regularly walked and paid attention to. 100% will book with them again.”

“Jared’s experience being a vet tech really shows. He’s communicated daily throughout the stay, and our puppy (who’s usually destructive) was calm and entertained the entire time. Looking forward to the next stay with him”

“Jennifer was great with my 3 dogs who have never been boarded at someone else’s house and two of them were a little nervous. They came around in no time, had the choice of sleeping with her if they wanted to, lots of room to play, and got along great with her dogs. We’ll definitely be back.”

“A great experience for our dog Nado. Jenny was very kind and welcoming. We rescued our dog over a year ago and he had been traumatized, we were nervous how he’d handle being apart. Jenny and her family made him feel more than welcome and he behaved very well and had a great time! Definitely recommend.”

“I appreciate the attention my dog Red received and was pleased how comfortable Colleen made her feel. Red received plenty of walks and I was updated regularly with how she was doing. Highly recommend.”
“I’m always amazed at how relaxed Elaine is with dogs and kids and family, each with their separate needs. She went above and beyond to get the right medication for my dogs itchies.”

“This was the first time we had left Jazzie and Sadie with Sandy but I am happy to say, they came home both tired and happy!! We are planning to leave them there for a much longer stay and feel confident that the girls will be well taken care of. Thank you Sandy!”

“I really enjoyed having Ziggy an Samson stay with Jay, They came back so positive an calm, so I know he had spent a lot of time with them which made me so happy.. Also getting pictures of them really hit home an made my trip so easy just to know they were happy an content.. I will always pick Jay to watch my babies, he did such an outstanding job!! I recommend that you to book with him, your dog will love it!! Thanks again Jay!!”

“Very kind and patient with our energetic 8 month old. Large secure fenced yard he had fun playing in. It was his very first time away from home and family; we couldn’t have asked for a better experience for him.”

“Our two dogs had a great weekend with Melissa! They loved being able to hang out outdoors in their own private space. They seemed very happy when we picked them up!”

“Haleigh is always great with our Shihtzu Aika! She sends plenty of updates and we can see from the pictures that Aika is always having a great time with her family! Thank you for adapting to our last minute change, when our flight got canceled and we were only able to arrive later in the evening to pick-up Aika!”

“Matt and his wife are so sweet! Left my Husky pup with them while i was out of town for a night. He was exhausted when I got home so I know he must have had a good time with them. They have a big back yard and were extremely accommodating. Matt sent us plenty of updates and pictures throughout his stay as well. Can’t say enough good things about these people!”

“I would definitely have our dog stay with Maryorie again! She sent pictures and videos everyday which was great to see how much fun our dog was having. I would absolutely recommend her to dog sit!!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Brush Prairie
We had a great experience with Kathlene & her family! We really appreciated how attentive they were to the details of our dog’s care plan during her stay with them. They were very communicative and sent us lots of updates and pictures, which made us feel very at ease with her being away from home. We would definitely board our dog with them again!

Deanna is wonderful. She took care of both our older cats for almost a month while we were on honeymoon and moving into a new home, and patiently took care of our oldest kitty when she became ill. The cats seemed to really love her, and when we both came down with flu she let us extend the cat's stay. Highly recommend her and will use her again.

Christie was so great with our dog and older kitty. She was very communicative and sent lots of picture updates! She was gentle and patient with our bully/pitbull mix who can be a bit nervous at first, and her sweet doggie Ruffalo made for a great companion. I had total peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. Would definitely book again!:)

Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
