I’ve taken care of cats and small dogs for most of my life, I was always the kid who was volunteering to take care of everyone’s cats while they were away and walk their dogs as needed. I’ve always had a passion for animals, especially cats and I adore getting to know new little critters. I’ve worked with more relaxed older and smaller dogs, to much more energetic dogs like my collie mix. I’m always down to play or take out on a long walk/run for some energy release time :)

Stephanie was amazing with Sage! Sage absolutely loved her, and I could tell she had such a good time staying with her. Stephanie kept me updated and sent me pictures throughout her stay, and she really made an effort to make Sage feel comfortable around bigger dogs. I also really appreciated that she took Sage on a hike. she looked so happy in all the pictures! When I picked her up, Sage was happy, clean, and even kept wanting to go back to Stephanie, which told me everything I needed to know. I could tell she was really well taken care of and felt comfortable with her. Stephanie was also very accommodating with pick up and drop off times, which I really appreciated. I would 100% book with her again and definitely recommend her!
I opted to pay for a full day/night coverage even though we agreed on only staying from 11am-3pm, however, Stephanie was 1.5 hours late without telling me she was running late to begin with. I felt like it would have made more sense in the end to book an hourly walk/check in since we were on limited time. 4 hour schedule turned into only watching the dogs for 2.5 hours with my full day payment. She was great when she did arrive and my dogs seemed well cared for, Stephanie took photos and sent updates along the way. I just wish she was a little more reliable with timing (or at least updated me that she was running late)

Schedule
I currently only work part time, mostly evenings and my partner works from home so we’re very flexible and someone will always be here with your pup. My work schedule is flexible so I’m available most every day for meet and greets or drop offs

I have a large fenced in backyard the pups are allowed to run and roam in. There are no gaps in the fencing, but I keep a close eye on them either way in case anyone likes to dig or anything. I have 2 dogs who love to play and also just bask in the sun. I also have a variety of toys and treats for them while they are here if they’re allowed to have them.

A typical day
I love to make my time with the animal as engaging as possible, stopping to smell and check out anything they’re interested in, bringing enrichment like toys and treats on the walks with us, and frequent pets to make sure they’re happy and having a fun time :)
