Turns out she didn’t even care that I left! She walked straight in and started playing right away. Shell’s house is like a safe haven for her and for good reason. Shell treats every dog like their her own and even treats me like I’m family, always offering me coffee or Cheerios. You can really tell that the dogs have the time of their life and Honey is soooo much more well behaved when I pick her up. She’s gotten so good at all her tricks thanks to Shell. About: We are two friends who have known each other for almost ten years, and we currently live together with our two middle-aged dogs. We are animal lovers through and through. We love caring for animals and think they deserve the best. We dog sit quite often for family, friends, and neighbors, and can’t wait to meet your pup! Eileen and Carley both have very flexible schedules. Eileen works a hybrid schedule, and gets to work two days from home, and has a 3-day weekend. Carley works fully remote 5 days a week. There is always somebody home to watch the pups between the two of us. We have a fenced-in yard. It is a smaller yard, but both of our dogs use it, and we live right down the street from our neighborhood park, where we always take them for walks. About: I grew up in a family that owned dogs all of my life. I also pet sat (both cats and dogs) for many family friends over the years, even helping look over a dog team once when I lived in Alaska. Furthermore, I am capable of going on long walks or short ones, playing fetch or tug of war for extended periods, or just chillin' at home providing all the belly rubs and scratches as possible. I am based in Vancouver and I currently work a part time retail job in Portland. My retail job's schedule is not consistent and I may need to be at work for 6 to 8 hours on a particular day, sometimes during an afternoon or evening feeding time. Luckily, my schedule gets posted three weeks out. So, I'll know which days I will be totally free to hang out with pets. I'll make sure to communicate with you on which days I will be gone for a long stretch and make sure it fits within your pets schedule. I am flexible for how will care for your pet in your home. If your pet requires a lot of attention and play time, then I am more than willing to take them to the backyard or nearest park to let them play to their hearts content. I have taken in strays, rescued several dogs from shelters. I also volunteered for an animal rescue for several years and have fostered animals from time to time. I am the person who finds the pets at an event and stays with them the whole time. I have experience with dogs, cats including puppies and kittens, seniors, and animals with medical needs. I currently work only about 5-8 hours a week and have plenty of time to cuddle and walk your pets. Spending time with animals is my favorite thing to do. I will walk your dog twice a day, and can also take your pets on drives (with my pet seatbelt and/or car seat) if that's something you would like. Daily belly rubs are always included :) I have a fenced back yard. Pets are welcome to all areas of my home and always allowed on the couches and bed. I also have a comfortable dog car seat for dogs under 50 lbs as well as a collar/harness seatbelt restraint for larger dogs. I will take up to 3 dogs at a time, if your dog loves to be social (My home is two-story, with multiple dog gates should your dog need a break also). If your dog prefers to be the only animal around, please let me know and I'll let you know if I can arrange that.

Now, I work for an animal urgent care and have experience with both dogs and cats, as well as own my own dog and cat. I'm currently working full time, so for boarding your pet may be alone while I'm at work unless they are kennel trained they can go to work with me. I will be taking them on walks before and after work. I work 10 hour shifts Monday through Thursday. I have one dog who is young and loves to play all day! I can kennel your pet if needed, as well as my own. I have fenced land for the dogs to run and play.

She took my pup to run some errands and even spent extra time with my pupper after the walks to make her feel safe (My dog and I have never been apart that long). “Left my pups (and houseplants) with Jenny while I was gone on vacation over the Christmas holidays. She was great, and the pups were pooped when I brought them home! I happened to have a vet appointment for Max that I'd scheduled a couple of days after my vacation. Both dogs had lost a few pounds, yeah! And Max's back right knee was doing very well, no swelling, heat or favoring. Jenny and her family did a great job with keeping an eye on him and keeping him from overdoing it. They were also very understanding when I managed to screw up my pickup date. I'd inadvertently written down my return flight on the day before it was actually scheduled, so I'd scheduled their pickup time for the next day, just about at the time when my flight was supposed to depart. And of course, the flight was delayed about two and a half hours. Luckily, I was able to pick them up about 5 hours after the designated pickup time. I will definitely be looking to her for boarding again in the future!”
