“Emily & Eric were both friendly and very understanding to my dog’s personality and needs. They took great care of Zuri! I would have them care for Zuri again! THANK YOU.”

“Araceli was awesome! She was very responsive and sent us frequent pictures of our two fur babies. They returned to us happy and we could tell they were well cared for. Thank you Araceli!”

“Carolyn was amazing. She took the time to really get to know both of our boys (dogs). She kept us updated with pictures and reviews. She was diligent with keeping to their scheduled eating and med times. Our boys were happy their entire stay and we would definitely recommend Carolyn to all our friends and family.”

“Steve is GREAT! Murphy was welcomed into the pack and played hard and was safe. Murphy can have some anxiety in new siuations and with new humans and pets. Steve allowed Murphy to adjust comfortably in his home with patience and love. My Muffin Man came home tired and happy! I'm so thankful and grateful to have found such a wonderful sitter for Murphy for when I need to get away and 'Adult'. Thank you, Steve! I appreciate you more than you know! Murphy Hug to you,”

“Leah and Chris were amazing! It was so obvious our boys were having a blast with them and that they loved them as their own. We got daily updates with amazing photos of the dogs and saw they were being regularly walked and paid attention to. 100% will book with them again.”

“Jared did an excellent job boarding Fiona, a ~2.5 year old pit mix that is brand new to our home. Jared came over for a meet and greet, where he let Fiona snuggle up to him which he interspersed with little checks, like touching her ears or feet to see how she responded. We sat in the back yard for a while talking about Fiona, his dog Bart, and his background - and after a while he suggested that he thought it would work well to board her at his place. I brought Fiona over there to see how she did in that environment, and she was very comfortable there. Jared sent me photos and updates throughout, reporting on how Fiona and Bart were doing together. They started with short play sessions until they got more familiar with each other. Jared was always quick to respond to text messages. Thanks Jared for looking after Fiona, you'll be seeing her again soon.”

“We LOVED our experience with Jennifer! She was wonderful with our sweet Luna. She sent updates with photos to assure us that Lu was very comfortable with her, her family and family pets. There's nothing better than to find someone who clearly loves animals and takes such great care. Highly recommend her!”

“Left my pups (and houseplants) with Jenny while I was gone on vacation over the Christmas holidays. She was great, and the pups were pooped when I brought them home! I happened to have a vet appointment for Max that I'd scheduled a couple of days after my vacation. Both dogs had lost a few pounds, yeah! And Max's back right knee was doing very well, no swelling, heat or favoring. Jenny and her family did a great job with keeping an eye on him and keeping him from overdoing it. They were also very understanding when I managed to screw up my pickup date. I'd inadvertently written down my return flight on the day before it was actually scheduled, so I'd scheduled their pickup time for the next day, just about at the time when my flight was supposed to depart. And of course, the flight was delayed about two and a half hours. Luckily, I was able to pick them up about 5 hours after the designated pickup time. I will definitely be looking to her for boarding again in the future!”
“Colleen took really great care of our medium poodle. She sent multiple pictures everyday, and it looked like my skittish poodle got along well with her chill Jackson. Wonderful care and service. Highly recommend Colleen!”

“Elaine and her husband and her kids were just what manny needed for the holidays! He had a family away from his family. She sent us photos and let us know how he was doing and we picked him up we heard compliments from his stay 🥰 I’m so glad they both had great time!”

“Being the first time BB was to stay at someone else's home and with other dogs, we were a little uneasy. However, Sandy sent a couple of pics of our pooch looking very comfortable at her house and then we were at ease knowing he was there in lieu of an impersonal kennel. We've already made Benny's reservation for his next stay at Sandy's.”

“Jennifer was amazing with Lexi. Very communicative and such an amazing person. Would definitely recommend Jennifer anytime & now Lexi has an amazing sitter 😊 thank you so much Jennifer!”

“I really enjoyed having Ziggy an Samson stay with Jay, They came back so positive an calm, so I know he had spent a lot of time with them which made me so happy.. Also getting pictures of them really hit home an made my trip so easy just to know they were happy an content.. I will always pick Jay to watch my babies, he did such an outstanding job!! I recommend that you to book with him, your dog will love it!! Thanks again Jay!!”

“Kathy & Dean did a wonderful job taking care of our sometimes anxious, not used to being without us, older dog. I received updates and photos every day, which helped put my mind at ease. Kathy & Dean have been great with communication right from the start. All around great experience for us and our dog!”

“Our two dogs had a great weekend with Melissa! They loved being able to hang out outdoors in their own private space. They seemed very happy when we picked them up!”

“This was the second time ysong Rover. Our first was god awful. I was hesitant but Haleigh was reassuring that she was going to take great care of my pooch! All the photos proved it along with the pitty smile Red Dog had when I picked him up! He was walking and loving life before he even noticed I was there to get him. I highly recommend her and will be using her again!”

“Matt and his family were great dog sitters and we wouldn't hesitate to book with them again! Our energetic labradoodle puppy happily played with their dog (and other Rover dogs) all day long - we received many pictures and videos of her having the BEST time. She was a tired and happy dog when we picked her up at the end of her stay. We will definitely reach out to Matt the next time we are in need of a dog sitter.”

“Mayorie was very attentive, and easy to communicate with while Ash was in her care. I got lots of photos, and videos. My dog settled home quickly and has been at ease. To me this is a sign that she had an easy time while at sleepaway camp. Thank you!”

“Tiffany was great! Our girls warmed right up to her, even the skittish one! Great communication and pics of our 2 silly calico girls. Will definitley use Tiffany again!”

“Stacy did a great job taking care of our cat, Artemis. She provided many photos of him and we could tell he was being well taken care of - even when we came back, I think he missed her! We will definitely rebook if we need a cat sitter again.”
About: I've been an animal lover my whole life. I have taken care of all types of animals. Friends and neighbors have always trusted me to take care of their animals, starting at a young age. I have taken in strays, rescued several dogs from shelters, and have fostered animals from time to time. I am the person who finds the dog at an event and stays with them the whole time. I have experience with dogs, including puppies, seniors, and medical needs as well as cats. I currently work only about 10 hours a week and have plenty of time to cuddle and walk your pets. Spending time with animals is my favorite thing to do. I would love to take your pets on walks or drives if that's something you would like. I have a fenced back yard. Pets are welcome to all areas of my home and always allowed on the couches and bed. I also have a comfortable dog car seat for dogs under 50 lbs as well as a collar/harness seatbelt restraint for larger dogs.

“Brooke was very communicative and responsive. Brooke is very easy to work with and trustworthy. She genuinely cares about our pet and provided daily updates and pictures. We will be contacting her for future care.”

About: Ever since I was born, my family has always had multiple dogs. Currently, I have 4 dogs in my household. My mom also runs a dog breeding business breeding Australian Labradoodles. I have worked with both caring for puppies and adult dogs at home. Currently, I'm in the need of something to do this summer! So what better way is there but to apply my experience with pet care! This means that I am available for the most part every day at any hour. Given my knack for dogs, I always ensure that I know where your dogs are at all times. I also pay attention to their needs.
“Emma did a great job with our pets. Our two dogs have some special needs and Emma did a great job accommodating us! Rocket needs to be carried and Quill needs a little patience as he’s slow with his commands (He’s a nervous guy). She demonstrated care, attentiveness, and was prompt. As a bonus she gave out cats some love while I was out. I’ll gladly trust my pets to her again. Thanks Emma!”

“Francisca was a wonderful cat sitter. She followed my care instructions perfectly and sent very thorough updates after each vist. My shy cats even made an appearance when she came over. I would definitely book her again!”

“Felicia did an amazing job caring for my cats while I was out of town. Her updates were always fun to read and reminded what characters they can be. She also included lots of pictures each visit which I loved. I was excited to open every message I received while I was away.”

“Emily & Eric took great care of our pups while we were visiting from out of town for a family Christmas party. We appreciate them being so accommodating with the festivities ending a little later than expected. Our fur babies were obviously very comfortable in their home because they are so calm in their crates in the car at the moment. We will definitely leave our girls with Emily and Eric again when we are back in Vancouver!”

“Araceli was so great with Rocky… she kept me posted on how he was doing and sent me the cutest video and pic of my lil guy… it is so great to be able to be at work and not have to worry about how Rocky is doing. I would highly recommend Araceli for watching your furry baby. Araceli thank you for putting my worries at ease…”

“Tashi is doing well! Looks forward to going to doggie daycare with Brianna. Today, he tried to sneak out to the car when I left! He loves being around the kids and other dogs. Thank you for taking great care of him!”

“Brandi, thank you for watching my Rocky while I was gone at work. It was so nice knowing he was so well cared for. Rocky seems to enjoy going with Brandi's husband at drop off which makes me feel very comfortable leaving him. Thanks again for putting my worries at ease. You guys rock!”

“I was visiting my son in Camas,WA and needed daycare so we could spend time at Lake Merwin. I looked on Rover for daycare for my Goldendoodle and found Dana and Mark. They were very friendly, warm and welcoming. You can tell they love dogs. They have a beautiful, dog friendly backyard and even had a doggie pool! I loved the photos and videos they sent throughout the day. My dog was having so much fun, I wasn’t sure if he’d want to come back to the Airbnb with me. Finally, they were very accommodating when we picked up our dog later than expected! Dana and Mark are exceptional! I wish they were near my home in California Thank you for treating my fur baby as family!”

“Dominique was great! She took Charlie on a fairly short notice and was very attentive and patience with her puppy needs. Charlie had a great time and came home tuckered out from all the playing.”

“Brenlee loves other dogs and Yiwen sent pictures of Brenlee laying right next to her dog and walking with her dog - so the fact that they were that close means that he had a great day. Yiwen worked with me on the dropoff times which was great. Brenlee had so much fun he slept the whole way home.”

“Jared was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, he was warm and welcoming to my pup, instantly putting us both at ease. Throughout the day, Jared kept me updated with thoughtful messages and photos, which I truly appreciated. His communication was clear and thorough, and he even informed me promptly when my pup had a minor nosebleed. Knowing that Jared has a vet tech background gave me complete peace of mind, and I was confident that my pup was in safe and capable hands. I can't recommend Jared highly enough and am eager to use his services again in the future.”

About: Hello Rover friends! I am a stay at home mom and would love to help sit your pets in our home. I have an open schedule and a big yard! We have a 10 yr old Lab/germen Shepard mix who loves having play dates and having friends over at our home. We do not have a fenced yard but I can take your pup on plenty of walks in our yard! I have tons of time to take good care of your furry babies, we have a ton of space on our 2 acre lot to play with your pup and take them for walks. We have three adults in the house and 1 child, so plenty if supervision. My dog is has an electric collar so he has a boundary he does not cross, I keep dogs that are prone to be curious on a leash since my yard is not fenced. I keep dogs separated when eating.
“Jenny was great! She was able to accept a very last minute request for doggie daycare. My pups came home last night and they are still snoozy today. I will definitely use Jenny again! :)”
About: I’ve spent over 20 years caring for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and energy levels, and what truly sets me apart is that animals aren’t just part of my schedule—they’re part of my life. I’m self-employed, which means I have the flexibility to be fully present and attentive, and my own dog goes just about everywhere with me. Dogs are woven into my daily rhythm, not squeezed into it. I’m especially skilled at reading canine body language and meeting dogs where they are emotionally and physically. I have extensive experience with off-leash dogs and understand how to manage freedom safely through awareness, trust, and clear communication. I’m also very comfortable caring for senior dogs—moving at their pace, watching for subtle changes, and providing calm, steady support. Whether a dog is high-energy and adventurous or older and more reserved, I focus on building trust, respecting individual needs, and creating a calm, confident environment where they feel safe and understood. Pet care is fully integrated into my daily routine. I’m self-employed, which gives me the flexibility to structure my days around the needs of the dogs in my care rather than fitting them into fixed blocks of time. My own dog is with me throughout the day, so caring for dogs is a constant, natural part of my rhythm. Because of this flexibility, I’m able to provide regular attention, timely walks, enrichment, rest breaks, and any special care a dog may need—whether that’s extra activity, medication, or a slower pace for seniors. I plan my schedule to ensure dogs are never rushed or left waiting and always receive consistent, attentive care. Safety, trust, and comfort are always my top priorities. In my home, dogs have access to a spacious, fully enclosed ½-acre backyard with an 8-foot privacy fence, providing plenty of room to move, explore, and relax safely. Dogs have access to the yard through a dog door, allowing them to go in and out freely throughout the day based on their comfort level and routine. I use multiple baby gates and an external kennel to thoughtfully manage space and interactions. This allows me to separate dogs when needed, provide quiet time, or give individual dogs privacy and decompression breaks—always with my close attention and supervision. I can offer private space both indoors and outdoors, ensuring each dog has a calm, secure place to relax based on their comfort level and needs. I’m very attentive to group dynamics and individual personalities, adjusting supervision and space to ensure every dog feels safe, respected, and comfortable—whether they thrive on companionship or prefer a calmer, more structured environment.
“Debbie has watched Milo many times for me and I feel comfortable and confident every time I drop him off. She takes great care of him and every photo I get it looks like Milo is having a great time! Any and every time I'm in the Vancouver area I send Milo to her ❤️❤️”

“Maryorie was friendly and great with communication. It was my first rover experience and it was nice to get a picture update after drop off and report about how he did at the end of the day. I appreciate how she did a meet and greet before hand to ensure my dog and her dogs would get along and so that we could get to know her. Looking forward to booking with her again!”

About: I am a nurse, but I have always wanted to work with dogs, and I see this Pet Care opportunity as a chance to fulfill my childhood dream. I'm thrilled with this pet care opportunity because of my deep love for animals. I believe my nursing experience will be valuable, as caring for patients has taught me compassion and attention to detail, which I hope to bring to the pets in your care. I would love to contribute to your team and learn from your experiences in pet care. Thank you for considering me, and I look forward to connecting and sharing our mutual enthusiasm for animals. I am happy to adjust my schedule if needed to help out, so please feel free to reach out with any questions or to discuss specific times. Looking forward to your response. I understand how important your pet is to you, and I am committed to providing attentive, loving care that ensures their safety, comfort, and happiness at all times. Your pet's well-being is my top priority, and I strive to engage with animals in ways that help them feel secure and appreciated, including maintaining familiar routines. My home features a spacious, fenced yard where we enjoy daily walks and playing fetch. I have experience caring for my own pet, Macy and in my childhood other animals such as parrots, fishes, and even a monkey. One of my favorite moments with dogs is play fetch—seeing their excitement always reminds me just how rewarding caring for animals can be. I take my responsibilities seriously and am always eager to learn more about each pet’s unique personality and age. To help maintain a safe environment, I kindly ask that your dog be protected with Simparica or a similar product recommended by your preferred veterinarian, such as Frontier, which guards against ticks and fleas Please let me know if you have any specific concerns, preferences, or special requests. I am open to feedback and happy to adapt to your pet's unique needs and routines. I am available for a meeting any day this week to discuss your loved one’s requirements, and after our meeting I will tailor my care to your pet’s needs. Thank you again for entrusting me with this important responsibility. I look forward to meeting you and your pet, and to providing compassionate care that brings you peace of mind.
“Haleigh has sat Rocky on a few occasions now when I've been in town for work and can't take him into the office. Appreciate her responsiveness and I know my pup is in trusted hands!”

About: I have lived with both cats and dogs since I could walk. I have been responsible for feeding, walking, grooming, and playing with many pets since I was 8 years old. I have experience in caring for senior animals, herding dogs, and puppies/kittens. I also independently trained my family's border collie on things like recall and other basic commands. I love to spend time cuddling, playing, and offering enrichment to all pets when I am with them. This may look like playing with toys, taking dogs for walks, working on basic commands, or just quality time.

About: I grew up in a family that owned dogs all of my life. I also pet sat (both cats and dogs) for many family friends over the years, even helping look over a dog team once when I lived in Alaska. Furthermore, I am capable of going on long walks or short ones, playing fetch or tug of war for extended periods, or just chillin' at home providing all the belly rubs and scratches as possible. I recently just moved to the Vancouver area, and I am seeking full-time employment. Thus, as of right now, my schedule is wide open, which makes me available anytime and any day (even weekends) to take care your pet. I am flexible for how will care for your pet in your home. If your pet requires a lot of attention and play time, then I am more than willing to take them to the backyard or nearest park to let them play to their hearts content. Or, if your pet is shy or getting older, I can certainly give them their space.

I am committed to following your pets normal routines and any specific directions to keep your pet as safe and comfortable as possible.
“Amy was timely in her responses. She followed instructions for getting into my home and getting my pup ready for their walk. Through my doorbell camera, Amy talked kindly to my pup and remembered to put on his rain jacket. After the walk, she spent time wiping off his paws and also locked up the house how I asked. Would definitely recommend Amy to others!”

About: Hello! I am 27 years old, and I used to own and adore 2 rat terriers and 4 cats, and took care of 3 others who all lived in the same house! While I no longer get to see them since I moved, I still love and adore animals. I've had the pleasure of petsitting for friends, 2 larger dogs, and 2 cats l. All of whom are adorable... Keeping your home just as clean as you left it, and your pet happier! I'm generally a tidy, quiet person so no worries about disturbing the neighbors, and if your dog has special treats or toys I'd love to hear about them!

“Elisangela is wonderful. I just know Wally loves the days she comes over, he’s so much more playful and energetic since having Elisangela walk him. I appreciate Elisangela’s calm and very caring demeanor. I can’t say enough positive things about her!”

“Francisca was amazing! She went above and beyond while I went out of town for 7 days. I was so anxious to leave my pup alone and Francisca made me feel so comfortable. She gave great daily communication and updates. She took my pup to run some errands and even spent extra time with my pupper after the walks to make her feel safe (My dog and I have never been apart that long). I could see on the house camera that she treated my pup/my home with such respect and treated my pup and if she were her own. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Francisca to another seeking a walker/sitter and I will definitely be using her in the future! I think I even made a friend! ?❤️”

“Jennifer was amazing with Lexi. Very communicative and such an amazing person. Would definitely recommend Jennifer anytime & now Lexi has an amazing sitter 😊 thank you so much Jennifer!”

Thank you!”

“Kristopher and his partner are so nice and were very good to my dog! You can tell that they genuinely care about each pet they watch and will 100% rebook them in the future.”

“Brianna took care of Ruger, our golden doodle for 4 days. This was Ruger’s first time being away from our family. Ruger was pretty nervous being away our home. Brianna was very patient & loving with him in her home. She kept us updated with picture. We appreciated the great communication. We would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for in home care for their furry babies.”

“Shadie sent messages and photos during Zoa's stay, and we appreciated the updates. Our dog came home happy, and exhausted from playing. We'll definitely use Shadie again.”

“Hannah was great with our dog, Brooklyn! She sent lots of updates and progress reports. Our dog has severe anxiety, and he had a great time there. We can’t wait to hire her again!”

“I was so happy to get updates and photos every day! It made me feel like she was in good hands, and I liked the reminder she was doing well. It sounds like my cat had a great time and was entertained during her stay. Thank you!”
