Pet sitting is my primary job these days so my schedule has lots of flexibility! I do have pets of my own that I have on a pretty solid routine, so I am confident I could immerse your pet in our schedule or whatever schedule you deem best!

Safety, trust & environment
Generally my preference is to pet sit for other fur parents at their home, I find this to be the best bet in terms of disrupting the animals routine as little as possible. I enjoy taking the animals for walks around the neighborhood, giving them treats or toys, and of course lots of snuggles!
Information Danielle D. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your animals have any special needs or behaviors that I need to be mindful of. Some examples of this could be things like: -Do they have any specific fears (thunderstorms, strangers, car rides etc.) and how do they usually react when triggered by said fear? (barking, hiding, panting?) -Are they reactive to other animals? (This is especially important if I am boarding them in my home. My dogs and even the cat enjoy playing with other animals, however they can get overly excited very quick and aren't always the best at knowing when to back off so it's important for me to know your dogs tolerance level. This is also good to know if we are outside on a walk or somewhere else in public, for example my dogs are fine as long as the animal is in their home and they can clearly see them, but if we are out in public and come across another animal they are reactive) -What is their usual activity level? (High, Medium, Low) -What are their favorite activities? Favorite treats? If you're unsure if it's something important that I need to know, please always err on the side of caution! My #1 priority is keeping everyone safe, healthy, and happy!
A typical day
It is my goal to make your animals feel just as loved and well care for as if they were my own! I am new to the area, so I will absolutely take any recommendations on great places to take dogs for walks, dog friendly restaurants, and great outdoor areas to play fetch or just lounge outside if the weather is nice! Wherever we are, I will make sure your pet is well stimulated mentally and physically!

Stay At Home Dog and Cat Mom
Pet care experience
I’ve been around dogs and cats my entire life. My parents had both when I was growing up, and when I finally had my own place I was so excited to adopt my own! I have been able to be a proud fur mama to 5 animals over the years -my first was a 14 year old chihuahua named Honey, and she was the sweetest little girl you can imagine. I have also been an adoptive mom to two cats (including one with special needs) since I met my fiancé in 2020. As of now we share 3 animals that are all rescues! A spunky little 5 year old chihuahua terrier mix named Luna, a 5 year old Australian Shepherd mix named Pepper, and a 7 year old Domestic Shorthair cat named Charlie. They are the absolute pride and joy of my lives! I have experience watching animals mostly in other peoples homes, but I have fostered both dogs and cats in my home over the last two years. I have a soft spot for small dogs, senior dogs, and animals with anxiety- I have personally owned animals with all 3. I have also pet sat for a few family friends over the years which has allowed me to continue growing my knowledge in animal care! Above all I believe all animals are intelligent creatures, and deserve to be given the utmost respect and love just as we do!
Reviews

Danielle is awesome and we will definitely book with her again! She took care of our dog and house sat for a long weekend and we had a 10/10 experience with her! Communication was great, she sent us lots of updates and asked questions when needed. We could tell that Doug got lots of love from her 💕 The house was so clean when we returned, it was like she was never there, ha! And she kept my garden watered so I had a nice harvest to come home to. Thanks so much Danielle! Absolutely recommend her for your pet and house sitting needs.

Danielle was a fantastic dogsitter! She was willing to come to meet us and our dog ahead of time to see if it could be a good fit. She was very sweet with our dog, and I could tell that he felt comfortable with her. We had her dogsit at our home for a long weekend, and she provided daily updates with photos and reports of how our dog was doing. She really gave us peace of mind, and we would definitely trust her with our dog again in the future.

Danielle spent a lot of quality time with the pups. Seems to genuinely care about them.

Danielle was amazing with my fur babies! Highly recommend! Danielle offered updates with pictures and stayed in communication throughout. My little dogs and even the moody cat seemed at ease with Danielle - which in turn helped me relax too.
