About: I had a cat that I rescued from the side of the road and cared for and loved for two years. He became a very special part of our family and taught me so much about caring for and understanding cats. Although we eventually had to rehome him, we were able to place him with a close family member, so we still get to visit him often. About: Ive had dogs ever since I was young. I don’t currently have pets, but my childhood dogs were a German Shepard mix and a little chihuahua. My German Shepard had so much energy and loves to stay active, so I understand what it’s like to have a very energetic dog - and love spending time with them. PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING I have a very flexible schedule due to working from home & will spend most of the day with your pup. However, I sometimes need to step out for personal errands, but I’m never gone for more than 2–3 hours at a time, and I always plan around the dogs’ needs—bathroom breaks, feeding, and general care. Please take this into consideration when booking with me. If needed I can do daily visits to see your pet in your home during the day, and go on walks, and basically play as much as your pet wants. ;)

About: I've been an animal lover my whole life. I have taken care of all types of animals. Friends and neighbors have always trusted me to take care of their animals, starting at a young age. I have taken in strays, rescued several dogs from shelters. I also volunteered for an animal rescue for several years and have fostered animals from time to time. I am the person who finds the pets at an event and stays with them the whole time. I have experience with dogs, cats including puppies and kittens, seniors, and animals with medical needs. I currently work only about 5-8 hours a week and have plenty of time to cuddle and walk your pets. Spending time with animals is my favorite thing to do. I will walk your dog twice a day, and can also take your pets on drives (with my pet seatbelt and/or car seat) if that's something you would like. Daily belly rubs are always included :) I have a fenced back yard. Pets are welcome to all areas of my home and always allowed on the couches and bed. I also have a comfortable dog car seat for dogs under 50 lbs as well as a collar/harness seatbelt restraint for larger dogs. I will take up to 3 dogs at a time, if your dog loves to be social (My home is two-story, with multiple dog gates should your dog need a break also). They offered to do a meet and greet to see if things would be a good fit and do a short stay before our long week of boarding. Our dogs loved staying with them! They sent so many pictures and it's clear that our dogs had a great time! Our dogs were so tired when we brought them home and having such a fun time with Leah and Chris. “Intentional, caring, and a great set up for a dog. Easy 5-star review! Christopher was awesome for someone who, along with my pup, has a bit of anxiety staying with random people. We did a meet up before the stay where Christopher took notes and helped calm me and the dog! Ruby got walks, played in the big yard and felt right at home. Wonderful experience for dog & owners!”
