About: If you're looking for a family to pour out love and affection to your pets while you're away and to give them an incredible experience in a beautiful location, look no further! We have a three story house, over an acre of fenced in yard, with over 10 private acres of woods and a creek to explore on walks. With a stay-at-home wife, homeschooled (and incredibly responsible) kiddos, and a family that adores caring for all types of animals, we can ensure that your pet will be given nonstop love and attention while you're away! As long as your pet is good with kids (we also have a two year old), this is an incredibly loving home that will make you feel completely at ease about your pet's wellbeing while you're away! My work schedule is quite flexible and my wife and kids are almost always at home. She's a stay at home mom and our kids our homeschooled, so your pet will get an abundance of love, care, and attention! We have a large fenced in yard, an amazing golden retriever who is used to being around all sorts of other animals, and plenty of room within the house to ensure your pet has adequate room and feels safe.

About: I have had dogs for my entire life! I currently have 2 dogs. Both are Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Trinity is our senior girl 13 yrs old, and Shira who is 2. I have had the most experience with big dogs (mainly German Shepherds and now Rhodesian Ridgebacks). I have done Schutzhund with my shepherds and have done dog shows and obedience shows locally with my Ridgebacks. Our dogs and the ones I take care of are always my priority. I treat all dogs like they are mine so they get all the love, snuggles, and attention they want. I have a safe and secure home and yard. We have a 3/4 acre completely fenced back yard fenced to 6 feet high. We are in the country and have lots of bunnies for them to chase. We also have a creek on our property that in good weather would be fun for the dogs to play in. I have some agility equipment that I will break out when the weather is nice and let dogs go through those or show them how. For rainy days we have toys and dog puzzles to keep their minds active. We also have a shop that I can put up agility equipment when the weather is lousy and cold so they can chase each other around in there if they are getting antsy. I also do daily obedience with my own dog and any other dog that is with me and wants to join in. While most of my experience has been with big dogs, I will work with any style and breed of dog after I meet them and we get to know each other. I also have experience working with packs of dogs, as at one time, I had a large pack of both German Shepherds, and then Ridgebacks. I also have a lot of experience working with puppies and can help with basic training. I seem to have a knack to help dogs who normally don’t eat or are very nervous when being left with someone else. I have had many boarders who’s moms and dads said were picky eaters or wouldn’t eat for a couple of days and somehow with me they eat well, don’t miss meals, and many times expand their diets. If you have a dog that takes medication I can, and have, administered meds that their parents bring. But I will only administer prescription meds written by a licensed veterinarian to the specific dog with explicit instructions. Bottom line, I don’t just “board” dogs. They are part of the family and treated as such until you get back. They Are talked to, interacted with by my dogs and myself and my husband all day long. They aren’t just put in a room or left outside to fend for themselves. They are truly being loved and cared for from the minute they are dropped off until the minute you pick them up. My husband and I are retired so I am full time at home now. So I can board 7 days a week. And overnight care at my house will be my specialty as you never have to worry about your dog being left for hours during the day or night. I have a very “dog friendly” home. That being said my house is clean and fairly tidy. I clean daily to make sure the dogs are in the best environment. My goal is to have your dog go home with you better than when they came. If they are full of mud from playing outside in the rain they will be washed and dried before they go home. If their nails are too long I will cut them (if the dog allows). If they need to be brushed, I will brush them and often give them a massage…this is especially good for the nervous dogs. If they are scared and feel nervous they will be returned happy and calm from being pampered while you were away. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture including our bed and can play inside or outside with my dogs who are very friendly to other dogs and people. I don’t crate any of my dogs and don’t require dogs that stay with me to be crated during the day or night. If you prefer your dog to be crated at night I will follow your instructions if you bring the crate that they are used to. Many of the dogs that I board sleep in our bed but they also have very plush beds throughout our home that they can sleep on overnight or during the day for naps. Wherever they feel more comfortable sleeping is fine with me even if they don’t want to be in our room with us and our dogs.

About: I’ve taken care of both cats and dogs ever since I was 5 years old. I have experience with feeding schedules, administering medications, crate training, and keeping routines consistent so pets feel comfortable while you’re away. I am available most weeks and weekends around this time of the year which gives me more time for drop in visits and walking as needed. About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my whole life. I have 2 kitties of my own as well! I’ve taken care of energetic Huskies to tiny Yorkies, plus a few other adopted cats along the way. I have experience helping to train puppies and keeping up with the daily responsibilities of both cats and dogs. I also have experience with goats, pigs, chickens and horses! I am currently studying to become a dental assistant, and I’m excited to share my love with your pets too! I have experience with my own independent pet sitting business. I did pet sitting for a couple years around my neighborhood in middle school as well! I currently work part-time 4-5 days a week, while taking 2 night classes a week. Which leaves me with plenty of hours to dedicate to your furry companions. Right now, I usually work mornings, and occasionally in the evening typically between 5-7 hours. So I have lots of availability in most evenings. Please keep this in mind if you are looking for a pet sitter to be fully supervising your fur baby/babies all day, this may not be the best fit. :) I’ve cared for dogs in a variety of settings, including fenced yards, cable runs, and supervised free roam. I’m experienced with crate training and handling dogs with different leash manners, from strong pullers to well behaved walkers. I have handled elderly dogs, administering oral and injectable medications. I have also dealt with young pups, and cleaned up potty messes. For cats, I’ve always kept them safely indoors and monitor them to ensure their well being. I do my best to clean up and leave the house how it was when I arrived! I do my best to stay connected to my clients, updating them frequently/or asking questions. I do not book house sits until after the meet and greet, and all information is disclosed. I am honest about my availability and will be sure to communicate that to my clients. Do not be afraid to pick someone else if we find it won’t be the best fit! I appreciate all transparency in order to make sure your pets get the best quality care they can.

About: I’ve been dedicated to dogs for most of my life. My current best friend, Arty was a stray and then was at shelters for a long time before I adopted him. He had issues, but I didn’t give up on him. I took him to manners class and used marker training to work through his issues. He is now a well-balanced boy. He loves to pose for pictures, for treats, of course. I would love to care for your pet when you’re away, in your home or mine if your pet is a good fit with Arty. I am a fit and active retiree. I go for long walks every morning and work out at the gym four days a week. The rest of my days are dedicated to my dog and gardening. I have a large fenced yard that is perfect for dogs to play and do zoomies. I have a large dog door and my house is dog friendly, with dog vets and throw rugs on a hardwood floor. I have a rear gate in my car and a dog hammock on the middle seat.

About: I’ve had pets and animals in my life since I could walk. I’ve been a lover of anything with 4 legs since I can remember. Caring & loving on 4-leggeds, my own or friends & families - has always been second nature. I learned from a very early age about pet responsibility, why & how to care for pets, and the psychology behind it. My personal family pets have included 2 of the giants - mastiffs - weighing in at 180 and 120 lbs. They were my tiny babies. Taking care and loving on them was honestly one of the best parts of growing up. Our old man hung on for 15 years, and taking care of him in his old age was an honor. And I’d be honored to take care of your pets just like family - just like I’ve taken care of my own. I’m available Monday, Wednesday, Friday, the weekends, and Tuesday and Thursday before 6pm. I have school 2 days a week but can manage taking care of your animals. I have a fenced-in yard. I have 2 indoor cats. I have the space to crate your dog if needed. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and we have a nice neighborhood for walks too!
