About: I’ve spent much of my life caring for family pets, including dogs and cats, and over the years I’ve had the opportunity to look after a wide range of animals—chinchillas, hamsters, fish, ducks, horses, and more. These experiences have taught me a lot about how to keep animals comfortable, safe, and happy. When our family dog, Diesel, was a puppy, I took the lead in attending his behavioral and training classes. I also volunteer at the local humane society, where I help care for and comfort cats. I’m experienced in administering medications to both cats and dogs and always take care to follow an owner’s specific instructions and preferences. Animals have always been a part of my life—I truly can’t imagine it any other way. I work as a social worker at the hospital during the week, and spending time with animals is one of the ways I unwind and recharge. During the week, I work as a social worker in neurosurgery and orthopedic surgery at Mott. Outside of work, I volunteer at the humane society, assisting with daily tasks and helping to comfort cats and small mammals. I’m Fear Free certified and plan to integrate my understanding of animal behavior into my social work practice when appropriate. Caring for animals—whether through walking, feeding, cleaning, or simply offering companionship—is something I make time for regularly, typically a couple of times a week. I’m also actively involved with the Ronald McDonald House in Ann Arbor, where I serve as co-president of the Young Professionals Group. I love walking dogs and sitting with cats more than anything. My own Emotional Support Animal, Rosie, has been a profound asset to my life- she is the queen. I care for my pets dependent upon their medical and lifestyle needs. I provide space for cats and dogs to figure out their level or trust, and know the different signs of distress or anxiety from my Fear Free Training.
“Claire (Ga Yee) was amazing - very attentive and loving with my two cats, and detailed in her updates. Even handled giving one of my cats her daily inhaler like a true cat nurse! I recommend her highly!”

“Took lots of great pictures, and did a great job entertaining my 4 cats. Followed my instructions to a tee, and was kind enough to clean up when one cat decided to tear apart a bag of bread. 10/10 would book again!”

About: I have always had a passion for animals throughout my childhood which is why I have devoted my studies towards animal science at the University of Michigan and to eventually attend Veterinary school elsewhere. I have been pet sitting for around 8-10 years, both big and small, along with having family pets of my own throughout my entire life. Once I was established in Ann Arbor I worked at a Doggy Day Care for one school year while also working at an Animal Hospital for over 2 years. I have learned a great deal of useful information throughout my time at the hospital as I held numerous positions including: CCS, Kennel Assistant, Prescription Assistant and Veterinary Assistant. I take great pride in being able to assist in the care of our animals and to be an advocate for their health when they are unable to. Every dog and cat I meet steals a little bit of my heart everytime I am with them. I work part-time at an animal hospital throughout the entire year and a student living on campus during the school year. My schedule is very flexible and always within a short radius of each other. I think it is important to listen to the needs of the pet as every pet is different. I am accommodating to each pet's needs and wants.
“We hired Abigail to check in on our two kittens (who are now 7 months old) every day that we were gone. She did an outstanding job with drop-in visits. We received updates and pictures on our trip - knowing our kittens were safe and well the first time home alone. The litter box was perfectly clean - and, much to my surprise, she vacuumed around the box. One of our kittens is more shy with new people - and Abigail took the time to make them comfortable. Our kittens Fred and Ginger were warming up very soon into the visit. Very happy that we hired Abigail - fantastic job! Abigail also checked our front porch for packages and fed the outdoor critters (birds and squirrels).”

“Clare obviously loves animals and has a special relationship with my cat Cosmo. I know he is under excellent care when I’m gone. Clare is my go to person every time I need a pet sitter!”
About: Hi, I’m Laura! I’m passionate about providing top-notch care for your beloved furry friendso! I’ve spent my life surrounded by dogs and cats of all different breeds and sizes. I am a highly organized, responsible, and attentive person. As an online graduate student, and a part-time library worker, my schedule is flexible to accommodate your needs. I’m currently working part time, and am in graduate school-online. Additionally, I understand that each individual animal has specific needs, and I am able to adjust accordingly.
“Sumonthip did a wonderful job of taking care of Byxie. She has a great deal of experience working with dogs and cats when she worked at a veterinary clinic. She was very patient with Byxie and knew how to handle her if Byxie got too excited to see her and tried to jump on her. Please give Sumonthip a $7.00 tip.”
“Mary did a great job caring for Fred for a whole week for us while we were on vacation. She gave daily updates and photos which put my mind at ease - she even cleaned up a few vomiting incidents, which I really appreciated. Will definitely book her again!”

“Christine is great. She is the kind of person that when I hire her, I don't worry my dogs, my rabbits, my fish or various house requests. She's loyal, smart and honest. I trust her in the house and with our beloved animals. She uses common sense when reporting in as one of my dogs is over 18 years old. She understands her needs are different from the younger ones. Christine always shows up and happy to send a few pictures, which I love. I couldn't be happier to have her helping. Snag her when you can - she's a gem.”
