I’m an active dog lover with a Belgian Malinois, German Shepherd, and Mini Schnauzer! I enjoy scent work, obedience, and daily jogs with my pups. Experienced with puppies, seniors, all breeds, and administering medication when needed! I currently dedicate my time to caring for my own dogs. I work full time but love to do this on my spare time. I'm available most weekends and holidays and flexible on the days I'm available! I’m happy to adjust to your pets needs. Cancellations are no problem with notice—I truly enjoy spending time with new dogs and helping owners however I can! I currently care for my own dogs, each with unique needs! My senior pup miniature schnauzer needs gentle help getting on furniture and stairs, my 5-year-old German Shepherd enjoys walks, obidience training and playing outside, and my energetic Belgian Malinois loves exercise, scent work, and obedience training. Caring for dogs of all ages and energy levels is truly my passion!
“Caitlin checks all the boxes. She’s so caring, compassionate, detail-oriented, punctual… truly the best pet sitter!! She goes above and beyond, and you can tell she genuinely loves animals. She treated my dog like her own, and when I got home, my dog seemed soooo happy, like she had made a new friend! My dog loves to be loved and give love, and it’s clear Caitlin made a real impact on her! My dog has allergies and Caitlin was able to give medication and massage an anti itch solution into her paws to make sure she was comfy. She did everything I asked for! Even when it came to my dog’s complicated diet haha. Really appreciate everything she did to make us feel at ease!”

About: I have taken care of all kinds of dogs since 2009 , i fostered dogs of all ages and sized from petsmart as I grew up. I’m currently working full time but I’m available after 6 Monday through Friday and on the weekends all day. I work from home but I can come to you. I have an open relationship fenced yard due to the fact that I live in an apartment but my apartment is open for all dogs. The pets would still be token outside for play time in the yard but would have to be on a leash.
“Ivan was an incredible pet sitter for my shy cat, Daisy. From the start, he understood her gentle nature and took the time to earn her trust. During each visit, he made sure to actively engage her in play, especially with her favorite toys, which really brought her out of her shell. Ivan is caring, patient, and dependable; the kind of person you feel comfortable trusting with your home and your pet. I came back to a happy, relaxed cat, which says everything. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for attentive, high-quality care while they’re away.”

“We had such a great experience with Inna over Christmas that I ended up asking if she could watch the cats for New Year’s. Again, it was a very last-minute request and Inna kindly accepted. She is tidy, professional, communicative, and both the cats love her. I highly recommend her.”

About: I absolutely LOVE animals! I’ve been pet sitting for years and had 2 dogs of my own for over 15 years. I love my fur babies and I’ll make sure to love yours as if they were my own! I adore EVERY type of animal big or small and will provide the utmost care for them per your instructions! I can care for your pet in your home for drop ins and walks, or board in mine! Whichever you prefer I promise your baby will be taken well care of! I am located in East Hollywood and can travel throughout the area. I can help with cats, dogs and certain exotic animals! If you prefer boarding, please be advised that I have a cat, that is trained and gets along well with dogs but not other cats. Thank you so much for taking the time to consider me for your baby, I look forward to meeting you! I have a moderate schedule, but work only 5 miles from home and am available to leave tor potty breaks during the week. I’m usually free all day on my days off so my schedule is pretty flexible! There is also my work from home boyfriend in the home, who is home all day to allow for potty breaks, feeding and company when boarding. I have a big back yard that’s fenced in, so your baby can play safely. I also have a medium sized cat that really just keeps to herself. Pets are let out periodically through the day, and water bowls are always full. We allow pets on the furniture and cuddles at night, though I can crate your pet if needed
“Janice was so great with my 2 cats (one kitten one elderly) and sent us multiple pictures everyday to ease our minds on our vacation. I would definitely book with her again in the future!”

“Nicole was amazing! She was so sweet, attentive, and punctual while I was out of the country for over a week. My cats loved her and I knew they were in amazing hands. I will absolutely be rebooking :)”

“There are absolutely no words for me to describe how unbelievably AMAZING,HUMBLE,CARING,EMPATHETICAND UNDERSTANDING this amazing women(Camilla) is. ABOVE AND BEYOND is the only way to explain the way she works. I had unfortunately a very unexpected family emergency(out of state) that I had to drop everything and go to, and by some luck of God, I came across Camillas profile. HOW SHE ISNT BOOKED NON STOP IS BEYOND ME but I thank God everyday that she wasn't. I've honestly never met someone like Camilla.....every unplanned, unexpected, disaster that could of happened, DID HAPPEN and she didn't even break a sweat. She was so calm and understanding, honestly, SHE was keeping me CALM. Reassuring me that everything will be ok, that she will take care of everything at home and for me to just focus on my family emergency. I found myself pausing every couple of days reminding myself that "I only just met this women(camilla)and the things she had to take care of, you would think we've been family for years. That's exactly how she makes you feel like, not only are you family, but your babies are too! My family has not only found THE BEST PERSON(SITTER) EVER BUT A LIFE LONG FRIEND THAT I KNOW I CAN RELY ON FOR ANYTHING,AND OFCOURSE VICE VERSA!! If you want someone who will treat your babies the way you yourself would then LOOK NO FURTHER!!! I GUARANTEE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!”

About: Hi! My name is Julia and I’ve spent over 12 years working in veterinary medicine and healthcare-focused environments caring not only for animals, but also supporting and communicating with the people who love them. My background as a veterinary nurse gave me hands-on experience working with dogs and other animals in fast-paced environments while recognizing behavior changes, prioritizing safety, and helping pets feel comfortable and cared for. Today, I work in healthcare administration within a chiropractic practice where I wear multiple hats—including front desk leadership, patient coordination, scheduling, and administrative support—which has strengthened my organization, communication, and reliability. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is personal. My goal is to provide safe, dependable, and compassionate care while keeping owners informed and giving pets a positive experience. I’m currently offering limited part-time availability with a focus on evenings and select weekend hours. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! Pet care has been a part of my daily life for many years through both my professional and personal experience. With over 12 years working in veterinary medicine and now in healthcare administration, caring for others and maintaining routines comes naturally to me. My current schedule allows me to provide pet care primarily during evenings and select weekends, which gives me the flexibility to offer focused, dependable attention without overbooking. I intentionally keep my availability manageable so each pet receives quality care, patience, and individualized attention. I enjoy incorporating walks, playtime, feeding routines, enrichment, and quiet companionship into visits depending on each pet’s personality and needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible to reduce stress and help them feel comfortable and secure. I take time to learn each pet’s schedule, feeding preferences, activity level, favorite toys, and any household expectations before care begins. During visits, I focus on providing attentive care through feeding, fresh water, potty breaks or litter maintenance, playtime, exercise when appropriate, and calm companionship. My veterinary background also taught me to pay attention to behavior, comfort, and subtle changes that owners may want communicated. I provide updates and photos whenever desired so owners can feel connected and reassured while away. I believe good pet care is not just meeting physical needs—it’s helping pets feel safe, respected, and cared for in their familiar environment.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Dania Beach
Kate was the absolute best with my Charli while away for a last minute long weekend. She was very communicative and thorough, and as it was my first time using Rover, she made sure to ease my mind about leaving my baby for the first time in the care of someone else. I will definitely use her in the future when in need of a sitter!

Alejandra did an amazing job taking care of Blanche and Lilly! From the moment she checked in, I felt completely at ease knowing they were in great hands. She kept me updated throughout the visit, and it was clear my dogs were comfortable, happy, and well cared for. She was reliable, communicative, and really attentive to their needs. It’s not easy trusting someone with your pets, but Alejandra made the whole experience stress-free. I would absolutely book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable sitter!

Laura minded our two bulldogs while we were away for a long weekend. She was punctual (like clockwork!) and our dogs got spoiled to lots of walks and outdoor time. She kept us informed and when we came back, we found the dogs just fine, they barely missed us! Thank you, Laura!

Jessica came to block my dog three times in one day when I was out for the day and you help. She was reliable, professional, polite, and very sweet and the dogs liked her a lot. She took pictures for me so I could see their progress during the day which was very nice of her. I would highly recommend her to anyone that needs a dog walker or sitter.

- 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
