About: Hi! I’m transitioning my career (from working in the entertainment industry) into a focus on pet care after a lifetime of loving and living with dogs. For the past 30 years, dogs have been an essential part of my daily life and currently, I share my home with a sweet senior pug who gets physical therapy weekly. Their comfort, health, and happiness are always my top priority. I have much experience dealing with their different ailments. Over the years, I’ve cared for friends’ dogs and cats, and I’ve found true joy in giving them the attention and affection they deserve. I've also received care from a Rover sitter for my own dog for 2 years. I know how uneasy it can be contacting a stranger. I’m detail-oriented, highly safety-conscious, and most importantly reliable and trustworthy. When your fur baby is with me, you can feel completely at ease. I’m currently welcoming just a few clients for repeated in-home daycare to ensure each dog gets plenty of love and individualized care. My home is senior-dog friendly with yoga mats and ramps/soft pet steps, a fenced-in yard, and a calm, quiet environment. I am able to provide boarding for your pup if you are going out of town. I can be interested to house sit at your home if I can bring my senior pup along. If you’re looking for a caring, dependable sitter who will treat your pet like family, I’d love to connect. I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully becoming part of your dog’s extended pack! I am looking to make pet care my main focus after September. Until then all available booking dates will be indicated on my Rover calendar. My home is designed with senior dogs in mind, fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time, and the inside is mobility friendly with yoga mats, dog ramps, and stairs to help pups get around comfortably and safely. I make it a priority to discourage jumping off furniture to protect their joints. My own senior pug is sweet, social, and would love to make some gentle new friends. I’d be happy to provide a calm, cozy, and caring environment for your pup!

“Kimberly is AMAZING! She takes care of my Goofy so well, and he always look like he is having so much fun in the pictures. She updates me constantly and it makes me feel so secure. I already booked her again for next week to take of my Goofy.”

About: Dogs have been a constant my entire life. I've always owned or been a caretaker to them. I truly prefer their company to humans! Experience administering medications to senior dogs. I work in film and television and it has been terribly slow this year. Going to try this for the summer to see if it's a good fit. I will be home with your pooch all day most days. They'll have access to the fenced yard if I need to run to the store. I have an adorable house with two fenced outdoor areas your pooch will be free to explore. Also live in a great walking neighborhood close to some wonderful trails if your dog is into hiking. Couch potatoes welcome, too!

“Irina met me right on time for dropoff and pickup, was extremely friendly, and kept me updated with plenty of photos throughout the day. I felt completely at ease knowing my dogs were in excellent hands with her. I would totally leave my dogs with her again!”

About: I have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. I specialize in giving personalized attention, handling high-energy pups, and providing gentle care for senior dogs. My ability to connect with pets and tailor my approach to their unique needs ensures they feel comfortable, loved, and happy in my care. Whether it’s keeping up with an active dog, giving medications, or soothing anxious pets, I’m here to provide top-notch care and peace of mind. Pet care is a top priority in my daily routine. I plan my schedule around your pet’s needs to ensure they get the attention, care, and activity they deserve. Whether it’s morning walks, midday playtime, or evening cuddles, I’m dedicated to making your pet’s day as happy and stress-free as possible. With flexible availability and a genuine love for animals, I’m here to give your furry friend the best care whenever you need it. Caring for pets in a home, whether it's your own or a client's, generally involves several key tasks. Here’s a basic outline: 1. **Feeding and Watering**: Ensure pets are fed according to their dietary needs and have fresh water at all times. 2. **Exercise and Playtime**: Provide regular exercise and playtime appropriate for the pet's breed and energy level. 3. **Grooming**: Depending on the pet, this could include brushing, bathing, nail trimming, and dental care. 4. **Health Monitoring**: Keep an eye on the pet’s health for any signs of illness or discomfort. Administer medications if needed, as per instructions. 5. **Cleaning**: Maintain a clean environment by scooping litter boxes, cleaning bedding, and removing any accidents or messes. 6. **Routine and Comfort**: Stick to the pet's regular routine as closely as possible to minimize stress. Ensure they have a comfortable and safe space to rest. 7. **Safety**: Keep the environment safe by removing hazardous items and ensuring the pet can’t escape or get into dangerous situations.

About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve always been a passionate animal lover who believes each and every one deserves a loving home and the best life possible. I have over 20 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats (among many other animals!) and have taken pet safety and CPR instruction. I also have some experience volunteering with animal rescue, rehabilitation, and fostering. As someone who has owned and cared for senior dogs with medical issues I have a special place in my heart for any animals with special needs. I also have experience with puppies and kittens, and have house trained both. I work from home with a flexible schedule and our house has a good sized fenced in yard for potty breaks so can take them out as often as needed and dogs will rarely be left unattended. I enjoy long walks and hikes, and live close to a park, so every dog under my care who loves walks will enjoy long ones every day. I work from home with a flexible schedule and can generally work around your needs for pick up and drop off. Walks and play time are already a regular part of my schedule with my own pups and would love to include yours too! Your pet’s safety is my number one priority whether they are boarding in my home, or I’m watching them in yours. As someone who has anxiety when my furbabies are being watched by someone, I know how hard being away from them is and strive to give you daily checks ins, or pet camera greetings, so you can see how your pet is doing. I have a fenced in yard that’s extremely secure, and your pets will never be alone out there. I do require a meet and greet so I can learn how to best care for your pet’s individual needs. Above all, my goal is to ensure your pet returns to you happy and safe after a fun vacation.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 10 years old! When I was a teen, we had six dogs and eight cats, and most of them were rescues. We even had a Dalmatian that I trained for shows and I showed him! I love animals of all sizes and ‘ttudes. Friends and family all know they can rely on me to pet sit cause they know their dog will get spoiled with love and walks! Might be because my Chinese zodiac sign is the dog, but I feel a special kinship to the paw pals. Can’t wait to meet your special fur child! I’m available anytime during the week between 9am - 4pm for walks or daycare. Weekends will be considered on an individual basis. Drop me a line and we’ll figure out what works best! care for every pet like they’re my own—making sure they feel safe, loved, and happy. I’ve got tried-and-true walking techniques that work great for dogs of all sizes, so whether they’re tiny or towering, they’ll be in good hands (and on a steady leash) with me. If your friends comes over for the day, my house is well secured with a front and backyard. No other animals currently living here.

“Liv was the first sitter I booked on Rover and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She took such good care of my dog Turner during daycare. Turner has separation anxiety, and Liv immediately knew how to make her feel safe and comfortable. She kept me in the loop with updates and photos, which really put my mind at ease. It’s so hard to find someone you fully trust with your dog, but Turner was in such good hands. I’m so glad we found Liv!”

“Heather is the only person we trust to care for our dogs. We have adopted two tiny, special needs rescue dogs who came from not-so-great beginnings in life. They don’t trust easily. They both instantly took to Heather. You can tell she has a lot of experience with dogs. She takes the time to really bond with each pup. Every time they come back from a visit with Heather, they are so happy. We’re grateful to have a person who cares for our dogs as they would their own. Heather rocks!”
