She is super communicative, sends pictures with excellent little daily write ups that arent too short or too invasively long/frequent, and followed our instructions to a T. About: I've had pets my entire life and have walked dogs, house sat with cats, and have done drop in visits on and off for years now. I understand pet care is particular and unique and would love to relieve the burden that is worrying from afar! About: Our pets bring us joy and peace, maybe? They definitely bring us joy. When you’re away let me give you peace of mind watching your fur babies. Making sure they get fed, taken to the bathroom, water bowl filled, and played with. Feel some peace of mind knowing I have the Pet First Aid app on my phone should there be an emergency and your pet will be taken care of at your choice of vet. I currently work at a school for special needs kids as a Behavior Technician. That takes about 6-8 hours of my day Monday-Friday. My schedule does make it easier to care for cats than dogs, unless you have a dog that is very good at waiting for the bathroom. I am able to stay the night with your pet so they’re not alone overnight. I will go and hangout with your animals at your house and play with them. Making sure they’re always leashed or in a fenced area. Also slowly introducing myself to your pet and not forcing my presence onto them. Slowly building trust especially with our nervous friends.
About: I have taken care of dogs since my childhood, both my family dogs and those of friends and neighbors. I am comfortable giving oral medications as my dog takes daily oral medication. I have also watched our friends and neighbors cats since I was a teenager and know how special it is when they take a liking to you. My schedule is very flexible as I am currently between jobs after moving! Even when I start working it will be 3-4 days a week. I’m currently unemployed so I have a lot of time on my hands, I’m looking for mainly drop by visits but I’m always open to boarding! I always make sure to check on my pets every hour or so to make sure they’re doing okay and take them out if needed or check their water. About: Growing up my family had a yellow lab and many members of my extended family also had dogs. As I got older and became independent, I would dog sit for my families’ pets. Russell, as always, went above and beyond! He treats our home and our entire pack like his own, and we couldn’t ask for better care while we’re away. Our dog is older and medically fragile, so I was a little anxious about leaving for an extended period. But Megan did a great job managing her medication protocols, which can be fairly complicated, and in maintaining contact with the vet and us to keep everyone in the loop. If we need to travel without our dog again, Megan would be my first choice for a pet sitter.
Tina was absolutely phenomenal with my energetic 2 yo. She took Saoirse on wonderful walks at Point Defiance and Sehmel Homestead Park, kept her happy and engaged, and made sure Saoirse had the perfect mix of exercise, care, love, attention, and joy. The regulare photos and videos were absolutely delightful to receive (and share :). Tina’s updates, attention to detail, kindness, and genuine love for dogs shine through in everything she does. According to Saoirse, Tina deserves a thousand stars — and I couldn’t agree more. Thank you for taking amazing care of my sweet girl!
Christine stayed with our 12-week old puppy while we were out of town for 8 nights! It was very stressful to think about having to leave our sweet girl right after bringing her home, but Christine ended up making it really easy for us. She took excellent care of her and our house, treated our pup like a princess, checked in with us frequently, and sent plenty of pictures and videos for us to enjoy. She got our puppy to sleep through the entire night and had her pretty much fully housetrained by the time we came home! She also passed along her training tips and tricks (and even left a few special treats), which have been really helpful. Christine really went above and beyond and I’d happily recommend her to anyone needing help with their dog. She was truly fantastic! Five stars for sure!
