The go to Foster for Local Rescue’s
Former mental-health professional who is happily shifting my career from mental health & behavioral health counseling to full-time animal care—because honestly, dogs have always been my favorite therapy clients! I fully understand fear, trauma, and behavior at a deep level. I have no other dogs in the home, no cats and no children which offers a unique experience compared to the usual doggy daycare. For years I have been the go to Foster for local rescues for complex medical and emotional needs dogs. For nearly 15 years I’ve volunteered and fostered with local rescues and shelters, helping many dogs find calm, confidence, and their forever homes. I hold canine CPR & first-aid certification, I have extensive training in dog behavior and positive-reinforcement techniques, and I’m currently studying for my CPDT-KA professional dog trainer certification. When your dog stays with me, they are literally the only guest in my home. They have full run of the house and fully fenced backyard, sleep wherever they feel most secure (many choose right in bed with me), and receive gentle, constant companionship in an ultra-low-stress environment. I work from home, have no children present, no other animals and I am the only person in my home. My fully fenced, spacious backyard gives them plenty of room to zoom, play, or just sunbathe while I’m never more than a room away. • To ensure a comfortable and professional experience for both my clients and myself, I do not accept house-sitting bookings in homes with active indoor cameras or audio recording devices. Outdoor security cameras (such as doorbell cameras or cameras monitoring the exterior of the property) are absolutely fine. If there are any cameras or recording devices in the home, I simply ask that they be disclosed before booking so we can make sure we’re a good fit for one another.

Christine stayed with our 12-week old puppy while we were out of town for 8 nights! It was very stressful to think about having to leave our sweet girl right after bringing her home, but Christine ended up making it really easy for us. She took excellent care of her and our house, treated our pup like a princess, checked in with us frequently, and sent plenty of pictures and videos for us to enjoy. She got our puppy to sleep through the entire night and had her pretty much fully housetrained by the time we came home! She also passed along her training tips and tricks (and even left a few special treats), which have been really helpful. Christine really went above and beyond and I’d happily recommend her to anyone needing help with their dog. She was truly fantastic! Five stars for sure!

Christine is amazing! From my very first contact with her all the way through the days she watched my “boys”. We traveled over 1,800 miles via RV & did not want to place our boys in traditional doggy daycare. They are used to quiet & I felt they would need a little extra attention. Christine did not disappoint! The boys loved her & on the 2nd day they were pulling us to her front door. We received regular text & photo updates during their days with her. I will definitely use her again when we are back to visit family & I highly recommend Christine. You & your pup can’t go wrong.

Christine is fabulous! Highly recommend. Our golden doodle Fig loved her and she gave him lots of love while we were away for a week long vacation. I think he misses her already! We will be back.

Christine is great! She watched our two dogs (both with recent or chronic health issues) and she was very understanding of their needs and quirks. She took great care of them and they were right at home with her! Thank you Christine!!

Christine was fantastic! She was very attentive to our two pups and sent lots of photos during their stay. We picked them up happier than when we left them!

Christine is a superstar dog sitter! I left my senior bulldog in her care for 6 days with no worries. Prior to meeting him, she asked about Spanky's daily routine, likes and dislikes, wanting to know about his personality. When I dropped him off, he walked into her house and made himself at home. Christine communicates often to share pictures and to.provide updates. She was gracious enought to was work around a scheduling issue we encountered, as well! ! I am grateful Christine is available on Rover. I highly recommend her for pet sitting needs!
