“Our extremely skittish cat warmed right up to Sarah, coming out to play and even asking her for pets! Sarah truly went above and beyond to take care of not only our cat, but our home as well. She took out our trash, vacuumed around the litter box, and went the extra mile to make our cat feel special. Sarah and her son gifted our cat a new toy, which was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. It’s hard to find someone you can trust when your cat is scared of just about everyone, but Sarah made us feel completely comfortable knowing our cat was in good hands. We are so grateful for the care and kindness she showed and will absolutely be using Sarah again whenever we need a sitter!”

“Great communication from the start and super precise following my super OCD-detailed instructions! Definitely put my mind at ease knowing my sweet babies were okay while I was away. Thank you!!!”

“Tammy was wonderful! My cat is not comfortable around people outside of our family and usually hides or hisses. He didn't do either around Tammy. I didn't think she would be able to see him to send pics but he came out and talked to her when she arrived each day. I could tell in the pics she sent that he was relaxed and comfy with her care. The next time I need a cat sitter I will ask for her.”

“Angelica was able to come visit my new kitten and my older cat very last minute and was very attentive to them both! She offered great care and was very communicative.”

About: I have had the joy of loving dogs ever since I was about 5 years old! By only a few short years afterwards, I was given the privilege of taking care of our family dogs through feeding them regularly, letting them outside to go potty, and taking them on walks for exercise! I am not only patient with little puppies while potty training but also bigger doggies who need a little more attention every now and then! I currently have a very free schedule so I am able to tend to your personal household’s needs more specifically! I have a few things throughout every week and am available for overnights most everyday of the week with some time away Sunday mornings and Thursday evenings. I pay close attention to my pets’ needs and make sure they are comfortable and well-fed. When my dog Cosmo gets upset sometimes he just needs to be paid attention to and I don’t mind loving on him when he needs it! I am attentive to his needs by letting him out when he needs to go potty, or freshening up his water when he needs it!

“Allison was great with our dogs. She sent thorough reports and photos for each drop-in visit. I could tell from the photos our dogs were loved and cared for. It was so nice to enjoy our son’s wedding and not stress if the dogs were in good hands. I would definitely book with Allison again!”

“We've hired Emily multiple times and every time was a great experience. She has been essential in the adjustment of our new puppy into our home. She not only took great care of our dog, but is very knowledgable and helped with training. She is professional, prompt and provides excellent updates. We highly recommend Emily and will continue to trust her with our pup!”

Owners count on me for complete peace of mind, knowing their pets are getting constant companionship, playtime, and daily photo updates while they're away. Whether it’s maintaining strict routines or offering extra belly rubs, I treat every animal like family. My daily routine is built entirely around providing dedicated, high-quality care for your pets! I work a short 3-hour morning shift with Amazon, which leaves the rest of my day completely open to focus on what I love most: caring for your furry family members. I have a big fenced in yard to let my furry friends roam. I can also crate your pets if you’d like. I love to let them roam free in my home and feel like it’s their own so they are as comfortable as possible
About: I get a sense of peace when I am with dogs. I have a natural connection to them and I love spending time with them. I've worked with dogs that wanted nothing to do with me, but over time they have grown closer to me. I visit a lot of friends and family here where I live and I try my best to make the owners confident in my abilities when it comes to the care of their pets. I make sure they have clean water, fresh food, able to take them for a walk or let them outside supervised. If they take medicine I follow the guide the owners leave for me. I am very good at it and enjoy it very much!

About: I grew up with dogs and cats as well as have fostered for PAWS. I work a day job from home and can be flexible on drop in times. About: From raising multiple of my personal puppies over the last 10 years, to helping my mom welp litters of Rotties when I was a kid, I have a long history of taking care if animals young and old. I've lived on a farm my entire life until the last few months, and have taken care of everything from indoor pets, to livestock. Currently I am unemployed and pretty flexible with a bit of notice. My boyfriend is gone on and off, so unfortunately house sitting availability is low because I have my own fur babies, but I do have house sitting experience and when Im available would be very enthusiastic to house sit for you! Id love to check in on your animals and take care of them while you're busy with work, or stay over with them while you go on vacation, and make sure you feel comfortable and happy that your babies are being well entertained and cared for. I have two high energy dogs who were raised rural, so unfortunately I cannot provide pet services in my home, but I am happy to care for them at yours. I'd love to do a meet and greet and learn all there is to know to make your pets comfortable on their schedule.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Crestview
Katy was amazing with our cats! They had a good time while we were away and I could tell they weren’t as stressed as they’ve been in the past when we’ve traveled. Katy noticed a problem with our AC too and turned on all the house fans to keep it cool until we could get maintenance out there. Overall 10/10 experience

Angelica was wonderful! She is kind, caring, and truly loves the animals she looks after. What I appreciated most was how she kept me updated on how my Princess was doing while I was away on a business trip. Those updates gave me so much peace of mind. I would definitely book with Angelica again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Crestview. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
