“Tatiana was great with our fur babies. We had her drop in 2 times a day so they could go out to the bathroom. Always on time and spent time with them both. End up had to be out of town 1 extra night and she even took care of them till I was able to get back home. She will be my drop in sitter next time we go out of town.”
“Angelica was able to come visit my new kitten and my older cat very last minute and was very attentive to them both! She offered great care and was very communicative.”

“Katy was amazing from the start! She communicated great, kept us updated on any changes to time or anything. She sent daily photos and kept our minds at ease knowing our babies were well cared for. We will definitely be booking Katy again for our future trips!”

“I was really nervous about finding a good sitter for my cats, but Tammy eased my worries and seeing how comfortable my kitties were in the photos she took calmed me so much!!! I didn’t have to worry about them at all. She communicated clearly and was very thorough in her check-ins. I’m super grateful for her service!”

“Aaliyah was wonderful with our 3 large dogs. She responded to our initial request within several hours and was able to meet and greet the next evening. The dogs all responded positively to her immediately upon entry, even our skittish Rottie mix. Each day she'd text and let us know how the dogs were doing. We'll definitely be requesting her services again, and we highly recommend her.”

“We've hired Emily multiple times and every time was a great experience. She has been essential in the adjustment of our new puppy into our home. She not only took great care of our dog, but is very knowledgable and helped with training. She is professional, prompt and provides excellent updates. We highly recommend Emily and will continue to trust her with our pup!”

“Allison was everything we could have asked for in a dogsitter! Our dog immediately loved her upon meeting her. She went above and beyond as our dog is very scared of thunderstorms so she didn’t want to go outside in our backyard and Allison made sure to take her on a walk each time to make sure she still did her business. She took great photos during each visit and we appreciate her more than she could know! Thank you so much 🥰”

About: I get a sense of peace when I am with dogs. I have a natural connection to them and I love spending time with them. I've worked with dogs that wanted nothing to do with me, but over time they have grown closer to me. I visit a lot of friends and family here where I live and I try my best to make the owners confident in my abilities when it comes to the care of their pets. I make sure they have clean water, fresh food, able to take them for a walk or let them outside supervised. If they take medicine I follow the guide the owners leave for me. I am very good at it and enjoy it very much!
About: **Loving Care When You're Not There: Your Pet's Home Away from Home** I am a retired AF veteran and have flexible schedule to accommodate your needs, especially on the weekends and holidays. I can be available at any time. I have a huge backyard and a clutter free home. Also I have a friendly dog and two cats to keep your fur baby company. I have an extra large crate and a cat tree, in case your baby needs it. Plenty of toys, snacks and cuddles.
“Jillian drops in daily to let my pups out to play and is amazing with them. She helps train and allows them much needed mid day exercise. Very responsive and communicates well. Trustworthy in home while away. My go to pet sitter.”

“10/10 Recommend! Ms. Paula stayed in communication with me about my fur Baby the whole time! She went above and beyond and you can tell she truly cares and has a passion for this! Thank you again Ms. Paula!”

“Jennifer handled our elderly Pyrenees with ease! Administered his meds, trimmed his nails, and most importantly, gave him all the pets and cuddles he desired. Will absolutely have her in mind for our next trip.”

“She’s absolutely the best. She handled my 2 large dogs so well- kept great communication, and was the sweetest person. Always on time, and updated me consistently! I’ll definitely always book with her!”
About: I grew up with dogs and cats as well as have fostered for PAWS. I work a day job from home and can be flexible on drop in times. I work a full time job from home and can stop by before I start early in the morning, at lunch time, and am more flexible in the evening. I treat all animals like they are my babies and can provide ease of mind to help you with your schedule or trips. I am not currently watching animals in my home but can drop in to yours to care for your animal.
About: Your dog is part of the family! I have been on Rover since 2018 💜🐾 I love connecting with the owners before hand to show I do truly care about your sweet babies you love so much💜 I have been caring for pets including my own and my friends for a few years now. Any kind of dog makes me happy and makes my day better. I always make sure the dogs needs are met if that includes playing outside with them or making sure they get their medicine every night at the right time. I do not mind giving a dog a bath or even a flea bath or treatment if needed. I have always bonded with dogs and I have never had one not like me. I am willing to learn how each dog is and make them as comfortable as possible. I want the owner to feel comfortable knowing that there dog will be well taken care of by me I work around 26-30 hours week, it's a mix between the even shifts and starting at near 11/12. I always am upfront about my schedule as it does not always fit people's needs, which I completely understand. I care for the pets in my home or their owners home like they are my own. I follow the instructions of what the owner has left for me because I want the dogs to stay on their routine and feel as normal as possible. I love giving the dogs extra love as much because you have to think they are away from their parents and definitely miss them.
About: I have owned and taken care of animals since I was a young child. I grew up on a farm in Ohio where we had dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, horses and even a llama! As an adult, I have owned my own animals and they always live very happy, luxurious lives. Spoiled but healthy is key! I’m great at following directions, and proper care is at the forefront of my services! I currently work from home and am home pretty much 24/7 with the exception of appointments, errands and adventures so I have lots of time to give to not only my own animals, but animals in my care! I have a fenced in backyard perfect for a little doggie “zoomies” sesh, and a clean and pet safe interior of our home. I am home 24/7 so I am able to provide attentive and constant care to your pets, updating often with photos and even videos!

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Crestview
Katy was amazing with our cats! They had a good time while we were away and I could tell they weren’t as stressed as they’ve been in the past when we’ve traveled. Katy noticed a problem with our AC too and turned on all the house fans to keep it cool until we could get maintenance out there. Overall 10/10 experience

Angelica was wonderful! She is kind, caring, and truly loves the animals she looks after. What I appreciated most was how she kept me updated on how my Princess was doing while I was away on a business trip. Those updates gave me so much peace of mind. I would definitely book with Angelica again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Crestview. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
