About: I get a sense of peace when I am with dogs. I have a natural connection to them and I love spending time with them. I've worked with dogs that wanted nothing to do with me, but over time they have grown closer to me. I visit a lot of friends and family here where I live and I try my best to make the owners confident in my abilities when it comes to the care of their pets. I make sure they have clean water, fresh food, able to take them for a walk or let them outside supervised. If they take medicine I follow the guide the owners leave for me. I am very good at it and enjoy it very much!

“Melinda is the best!! She house set for us for a week...I have a very high energy dog and an older dog with a very progressive cancer and she is wonderful with both. I have never seen my dogs (and I have rescued dogs for 35+ years in 2 states) be so calm, happy and absolutely not stressed when we got home. Melinda walked the dogs every day, kept them on their medication regime and feeding schedule, and gave them cuddles and attention the entire time we were gone. She even took care of feeding my wild squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, possums while I was gone. I truly can not say enough about how happy I am with the care she gave my babies!!!!! I will definitely be using her again for all of our doggy care --drop in and walking visits, day checks and any overnights, and all long term house sitting. If you are looking for someone that is trustworthy, loving with the pets, will adhere to schedules, go above and beyond, and just an all around gem, then Melinda is your person!!”

The vet wanted to keep her a few hours which pushed back out appointment time. Valerie was very understanding and flexible. Valerie was awesome with each of our dogs who have very different personalities. She was able to give Gidget the medication the vet has prescribed. Valerie contacted me to see if she could try something to help Gidget to eat. She went over and beyond to take care of our girls. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my biggest priorities. I have a fenced yard and can provide supervised potty breaks, playtime, and quiet rest time. Because I have pets of my own, I’m careful with introductions and can keep animals separated with crates, doors, or gates whenever needed. I never force interactions and always pay attention to each pet’s body language, stress level, and comfort. I’m also very careful with feeding instructions, medications, leash safety, doors, gates, and routines. I have a husband and 8yo twins living in our home. I am a great caregiver. I love what do I have a fenced yard and 2 of my own medium size rescue dogs. I am very responsible and caring for my clients and their furbabies.

About: I have grown up around animals all of my life! I spent my early years learning large animal care knowledge and breed specific care such as shepherds and dachshunds. As i got older i furthered my knowledge to exotic care such as reptiles and parrots and finally leading to my professional experience in a shelter setting focused on cats. This is a lifelong passion of mine and intend to use each penny made from this to continue my education further to give love and care to those without a voice. My husband and I are moving in 2027 to further our education and my schedule is completely open until that time. I will however be strategic about scheduling to be able to provide the best care possible for each booking. I would like to keep your pets in your home to reduce as much stress as possible, but in the event your baby is in my home i will keep them separated in their own space during downtime and would ideally have camera for you to check in periodically. In the clients home i prioritize clear and timely communication as well as gather as much information possible to follow your loved ones routine as much as possible such as medication times, outdoor routines, even the quirky ones! Disclaimer, i will be selective with reactive large dogs, especially multiple due to my own safety concerns.
