About: I have owned and taken care of animals since I was a young child. I grew up on a farm in Ohio where we had dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, horses and even a llama! As an adult, I have owned my own animals and they always live very happy, luxurious lives. Spoiled but healthy is key! I’m great at following directions, and proper care is at the forefront of my services! I currently work from home and am home pretty much 24/7 with the exception of appointments, errands and adventures so I have lots of time to give to not only my own animals, but animals in my care! I have a fenced in backyard perfect for a little doggie “zoomies” sesh, and a clean and pet safe interior of our home. I am home 24/7 so I am able to provide attentive and constant care to your pets, updating often with photos and even videos!

“Melinda is the best!! She house set for us for a week...I have a very high energy dog and an older dog with a very progressive cancer and she is wonderful with both. I have never seen my dogs (and I have rescued dogs for 35+ years in 2 states) be so calm, happy and absolutely not stressed when we got home. Melinda walked the dogs every day, kept them on their medication regime and feeding schedule, and gave them cuddles and attention the entire time we were gone. She even took care of feeding my wild squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, possums while I was gone. I truly can not say enough about how happy I am with the care she gave my babies!!!!! I will definitely be using her again for all of our doggy care --drop in and walking visits, day checks and any overnights, and all long term house sitting. About: I have a dog at home and he can be difficult sometimes but I always take him on walks and he absolutely loves it. I've had him for 4 years and he is my little buddy. I am available any day. I feel I would really love this job. I love animals and would love to be able to meet new ones. I currently can't pet sit in my own house. This may change in the future but for now I'm only available to walk or watch them in someone's house.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve cared for family dogs, dog sat for neighbors, and as I’ve gotten older, taken on in-home dog sitting with more responsibility. I’m comfortable caring for multiple dogs at once, following feeding and walking routines, administering medication, and providing extra patience and attention for senior dogs. I know every dog has a different personality and needs, so I always try to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I also understand how important communication and trust are when leaving your pet with someone, and I would care for your pets like they’re my own. I’m home for the summer from college, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. Because of that, I’m able to be available for walks, drop-ins, overnight stays, and giving pets the attention and consistency they need. Since I’m not juggling a packed school schedule right now, I can be reliable, responsive, and make pet care a real priority in my weekly routine. For the safety and comfort of all pets, I currently only offer care in my client’s home, since I have an older dog of my own at home. I find that many pets are more comfortable staying in their familiar environment anyway, where they can stick to their normal routine and feel less stressed while their owners are away. I’m very mindful about following each owner’s instructions closely, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, medication, crate routines, or any specific care needs. My priority is making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while also keeping your home clean, secure, and respected.

About: I have grown up around animals all of my life! I spent my early years learning large animal care knowledge and breed specific care such as shepherds and dachshunds. As i got older i furthered my knowledge to exotic care such as reptiles and parrots and finally leading to my professional experience in a shelter setting focused on cats. This is a lifelong passion of mine and intend to use each penny made from this to continue my education further to give love and care to those without a voice. My husband and I are moving in 2027 to further our education and my schedule is completely open until that time. I will however be strategic about scheduling to be able to provide the best care possible for each booking. I would like to keep your pets in your home to reduce as much stress as possible, but in the event your baby is in my home i will keep them separated in their own space during downtime and would ideally have camera for you to check in periodically. In the clients home i prioritize clear and timely communication as well as gather as much information possible to follow your loved ones routine as much as possible such as medication times, outdoor routines, even the quirky ones! Disclaimer, i will be selective with reactive large dogs, especially multiple due to my own safety concerns.
