About: I get a sense of peace when I am with dogs. I have a natural connection to them and I love spending time with them. I've worked with dogs that wanted nothing to do with me, but over time they have grown closer to me. I visit a lot of friends and family here where I live and I try my best to make the owners confident in my abilities when it comes to the care of their pets. I make sure they have clean water, fresh food, able to take them for a walk or let them outside supervised. If they take medicine I follow the guide the owners leave for me. I am very good at it and enjoy it very much!
“Melinda is the best!! She house set for us for a week...I have a very high energy dog and an older dog with a very progressive cancer and she is wonderful with both. I have never seen my dogs (and I have rescued dogs for 35+ years in 2 states) be so calm, happy and absolutely not stressed when we got home. Melinda walked the dogs every day, kept them on their medication regime and feeding schedule, and gave them cuddles and attention the entire time we were gone. She even took care of feeding my wild squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, possums while I was gone. I truly can not say enough about how happy I am with the care she gave my babies!!!!! I will definitely be using her again for all of our doggy care --drop in and walking visits, day checks and any overnights, and all long term house sitting. If you are looking for someone that is trustworthy, loving with the pets, will adhere to schedules, go above and beyond, and just an all around gem, then Melinda is your person!!”

About: I have grown up around animals all of my life! I spent my early years learning large animal care knowledge and breed specific care such as shepherds and dachshunds. As i got older i furthered my knowledge to exotic care such as reptiles and parrots and finally leading to my professional experience in a shelter setting focused on cats. In the clients home i prioritize clear and timely communication as well as gather as much information possible to follow your loved ones routine as much as possible such as medication times, outdoor routines, even the quirky ones! Disclaimer, i will be selective with reactive large dogs, especially multiple due to my own safety concerns.

Aaricia was awesome! We have used Rover twice in the last couple of years for extended vacations. We have 6 "children" that couldn't make the trip with our family. The sitter that we used the first time was great, but she was unable to cover the time frame we were looking for. We reached out to Aaricia, based on her previous reviews, to see if she was able to cover those dates, and she was! She came to visit twice before we actually left for vacation, once after we initially reached out to her, and once right before we left. She met our 6 "children" while we were there and we could tell she was knowledgeable when it came to pet sitting. We were gone for almost ten days, and while we were away, we received photos and updates on our two dogs 🦮🐕🦺, two cats 🐈⬛🐈, yellow eared slider turtle 🐢, and leopard gecko 🦎 at LEAST once a day, if not multiple times a day. Even though we didn't respond to half of the texts and photos due to being caught up in vacation stuff, she was still committed to being 100% transparent and showing us that our pets were in very good and capable hands. We left a list detailing feeding times and procedures as well as daily/nightly routines and Aaricia followed it perfectly! We couldn't be happier with our choice of pet sitter and would highly, HIGHLY recommend using Aaricia to watch your "children" for whatever period of time, as long as it doesn't interfere with our next vacation because we will need her over here!!
