I have over 14 years of hands-on pet care experience from having cats and dogs my entire life. While completing my Bachelor's, I was part of a dog walking club where we would walk shelter dogs around local farmers markets to get them people and dog exposure. It was also a way to raise awareness for shelter pets in need of adoption. I currently work in direct patient care as a medical assistant at local clinics. This is my secret weapon for being highly observant, enabling me to quickly notice subtle changes in behavior or health, which ensures your pet is safe and comfortable during walks or stays. Emily has taken care of my dog for several years and has been an outstanding dog walker and pet sitter. She is diligent and responsible. My senior dog passed a few weeks ago and Emily took extremely good care of my dog who needed special care in her final months. We were able to go on an extended vacation knowing that our dog was well cared for. She was loving and patient with my dog's needs. The best compliment I can give Emily is that my dog loved her completely. That says it all to me.

Raven is a 12 year old yellow lab/Australian shepherd mix, about 45 lbs. and Emily has been helping me take care of her since 2016. I had the pleasure of volunteering alongside Emily during our time with Wags for Walks, a program that helps socialize adoptable pets and introduce them to the community. Emily played an essential role in coordinating the pick up and drop off of the dogs, ensuring each animal was transported safely and comfortably to and from the park. She was always attentive and caring toward every dog, taking time to make sure they were calm, hydrated, and comfortable before and after their walks. Emily’s organization and genuine compassion helped create a positive experience for both the animals and potential adopters. Her reliability and kindness made a real difference in helping these dogs get the socialization and visibility they needed to find their forever homes.

Schedule
As someone who works in the medical field, I work Monday through Friday but am off on weekends. I am flexible with scheduling and am willing to work with whatever needs you require.
