“Dani is fantastic. This was my first time leaving my cat with a non-family member and I was nervous. I was so grateful for the care she took with my boy. Lots of photos and he seemed perfectly happy when I came home. Thanks so much Dani!”

“Johanna is a real pro. She saved our bacon after another sitter canceled the afternoon before I left. She was able o swing by for meet / greet same day. She was able to carry out the drop in duties and played with Mei. It was a real life-saver after the late cancellation. I highly recommend Johanna.”

“Bailey is the best! She stopped by twice this week on short notice and spent a lovely sunny day with my pets. She sent me the cutest photos—everyone looked so happy and relaxed! It’s such a relief knowing they’re in good hands when I can’t be there. I’m so grateful for her flexibility, care, and kindness. 💕”

“Drea is such a wonderful and compassionate sitter! She devotes so much care and attention to our two kitties, even spending extra time with them when she thought one might be sick. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.”

About: I've been raising service dogs for Canine Companions since 2016! I have experience with puppies aged 2 months and up. I've been best friends with a GSD for the past almost 5 years! I'm very patient and understanding with anxious and stressed dogs due to my experience with my pup. I'm currently full availble for the summer, but will be a full time student starting in early August. I've got classes all day Mondays and Wednesdays, and I host studio hours on Saturdays. I'm very comfortable with crating dogs and walking high energy dogs. My dog is a runner and tries to escape, so I'm very familiar with keeping a close eye on dogs that are a little too excited!

“Ashley was lovely! It was very reassuring to know my fur and feather babies were in such good care. Ashely provided regular updates and pictures, and kept my home clean for my return. Thank you, Ashely!”

“Jessy did such a great job making sure our bunny was well taken care of and happy while we were away. She gave great updates and pictures! Thanks so much for your thoughtfulness and care! 🩷”

About: I have been taking care of pets professionally for the past 5 years, but have been involved in taking care of and having pets my entire life. I am really involved and want to make sure your pets feel well taken care of and have an enriching time when they’re with me. I’m currently in school and have a lot of availability outside of being in classes. I have mornings and afternoons free, as well as breaks between classes. I want to make sure that you feel comfortable, and so I always want to make sure I get all the information from you on the routine of your pet and what they prefer.

About: I'm Lianna and am a lifetime dog owner. I'm a reliable walker/sitter/volunteer who adores animals and can accept jobs at the last minute. I work P/T, which allows for flexibility with your pet's needs. I'm very fit and will leave your pooch pooped and happy :) Living in Mckinleyville, it is easy to service this area and Arcata with my vehicle, even at the last minute. I work part time, so I have flexibility to play with, walk and check in on your creatures. I have accepted very last minute jobs. I have a yard that my two dogs romp around in. There are plenty of toys and walks per day, which keep them happy. Woof!

About: I have been watching other people’s dogs since I was 10 years old. I grew up in a household that always had a dog, too! I have cared for dogs as big as Bernese mountain dogs and as small as chihuahuas. I have taken all sorts of dogs on walks and am diligent about making sure they get adequate potty breaks and food. I am comfortable with bathing dogs, as well. Playtime is a priority, too (: I am currently working part-time so I am able to work your pet into my schedule quite easily! My schedule does vary day by day, but that is something we can chat more about if you’d like to book me to care for your pet! Generally speaking, I am most available in the afternoons and evenings but can be somewhat flexible. I believe your pets’ safety is of the utmost importance. To maintain their safety I will keep your dog securely on a leash when we go on a walk. I will ensure that your cat or dog does not get out of the house when it is not supposed to be outside. Finally, I will build a good rapport with your beloved pets so that they will trust me, and so you can trust me, too!
