“Rachel is fantastic. She took great care of our super sweet giant snuggle pup and our house. She was incredibly prompt in responding to all of our messages, checked in regularly and sent pictures. She went not an extra mile but extra miles to provide a great experience. Thank you for being awesome to Red Cloud and to us Rachel!”

“I instantly felt comfortable having Brittany taking care of our home and babies! She was very responsive and communicative! The animals looked so so happy under her care😍 So thankful for her help🤩”

“We had an excellent experience with Monica! She took wonderful care of both my cat and dog at my home while we were away. She walked my dog each day and did a great job handling her (she is anxious and can be fear aggressive). We received regular updates and cute photos, which gave us peace of mind knowing our fur-babies were well cared for while we were gone. We highly recommend Monica.”

“Having Sarah stay at my house with my 3 cats was such a relief. With past pet sitters, I always came home to one of them with a bladder infection from stress. I got home to 3 happy, content kitties and my house tidy and clean! She's a gem!”

“Sylvia was the best dog sitter we’ve ever had. She checked in with us every morning and evening with updates on the dogs. We have 3 high energy dogs that she made sure were well exercised. She was patient and attentive. 5/5! ❤️”

About: Growing up in a family with German Shepherds, I absolutely love dogs! We bred our beautiful dogs when I was in high school and after birthing and taking care of new born puppies, my love for and confidence in caring for dogs is high. I love exercising and taking care of dogs. I am comfortable with every type of dog, and am willing to go to parks, go on runs or hikes with your dog, play ball, or just take a simple stroll around the block! Your pup can expect scratches behind the ear, and the best belly rub they’ve ever had. Thank you for considering me - and I hope to hear from you soon! I create my own work schedule! I go into work in person from 11-3 every day, so I am free in the mornings and in the afternoon to care for pets! I have no children at my house and have pet friendly furniture. I do not have a fenced in backyard, so I prefer to care for dogs in their owners home where they are more comfortable.

“Joy was a great sitter for our energetic pup and a good steward with our 121 yr old home!! It was fun seeing pics of her interacting with our WitchHazel, and the the house was just as clean as when we’d left it! Looking forward to calling upon her in the future! Highly recommend her”

About: Hi there! We’re a husband-and-wife team with a lifelong love for animals and a deep respect for the homes and families we care for. Between the two of us, we’ve grown up surrounded by a lively crew of animals—dogs, cats, horses, parrots, rabbits, and even chickens! Today, we share our home with four beloved cats and are excitedly preparing to welcome two puppies to the family. Whether you need someone to watch over your home, your pets, or both, we treat every animal like they’re our own and every space with the care and attention it deserves. Reliable, experienced, and always communicative, we’re here to bring peace of mind while you’re away. How We Work: I work remotely full-time, so I’m able to bring my work (and plenty of pet snuggles!) wherever I go. This means your pets get consistent companionship throughout the day. My husband, Cort, is available for pet and house sitting full-time, so between the two of us, your home and animals will be well cared for with plenty of love, attention, and presence around the clock. What We Offer: We exclusively provide care in your home, where your pets feel most comfortable and secure. I work remotely full-time and bring my laptop wherever I go, so your pets will have steady companionship throughout the day. My husband, Cort, is available for pet and house sitting full-time, which means between the two of us, your animals get nearly constant love, supervision, and care—without ever leaving the comfort of their own space.

About: I believe all animals deserve a sitter who will be adaptable to their behaviors and unique traits. Animals have distinct personalities and learning how to navigate them is central to being a good sitter. I currently own two cats, so caring for them is daily, such as cleaning their litter boxes, feeding them, and making sure they get good playtime. In my client’s home, I would make sure to apply everything I know to caring for these pets. Along with this, I would diligently follow the given instructions to make sure that they are cared for as well as possible.

About: I’ve had dogs in my house growing up almost as long as I can remember, both big and small dogs. I always use a positive tone when speaking to pets because they might not understand the language but they can understand the tone and attitude you use. I’m currently unemployed, but in the Army national guard which shouldn’t affect my availability (here’s hoping). Other than that I’m available every weekday and can stay overnight at a clients house. I always love to go on walks with my dogs. I don’t have an issue with cleaning up after pets. If I stay overnight at a clients house I won’t raid your food I can bring my own meals if need be.

“Left my 2 dogs with Stephen house sitting for 2 weeks. I was very anxious about leaving them with a new sitter but all went well and I soon relaxed. I would highly recommend Stephen.”

“Ryan was amazing with our dog/cat and very responsive to our messages/calls! We requested a house sitting, but he even took our dog for walks! One night, my anxiety was high worrying about our fur babies, resulting in me calling Ryan late at night to ask him how our babies were doing... but he was so kind and patient with me and worked with me! He gave us updates and sent us pictures and videos everyday :) He went beyond what we've asked for! I recommend Ryan to anyone who needs a sitter for its fur babies! Thank you so much for everything, Ryan :) Our babies are missing you!”

“Nicole and Cody went above and beyond to make sure my pups were taken care of! Our little girl has become a bit reactive at first hello - and they were patient, gentle, firm and kind with her! I can’t recommend them highly enough!”

“Melissa did a great job with our dogs while we were out of the country on our honeymoon! She was communicative and we could tell they really enjoyed her company :) Definitely planning to use her again as a Rover for future trips!!”

“I have had Mandi do home sitting / puppy sitting for nearly 2 years! She is absolutely wonderful - my go-to when we go out of town or out of area for an evening - she’s trustworthy, keeps the house in good order, is very communicative, and my corgi Bonnie absolutely adores her. Mandi is attentive to Bonnie, conscientious of her potty & dinner schedule, as well as play preferences. Mandi is such an amazing sitter; I don’t know what we’d do without her!”

About: Hi, my name is Kim and I am prior military. I have worked in veterinary clinics in the past for 6 years before I changed careers and would really love the chance to take care of your baby while you’re away! If you have any questions in particular please feel free to contact me! I am available most days of the week and weekends. I have worked with dogs for over 10 years and can read them very well. I have patience with puppies and I also have experience with senior and special needs dogs to include administering medications by mouth or subcutaneously. I have pets of my own, I let them out every morning and we play while outside with my kids. If I can, or if requested, I will walk them after work. I currently do not have dogs of my own and I have a fenced yard. Dogs will not be left in the yard unattended and the neighborhood is great for walking around. I temperament check all dogs I pet sit before booking.

“Rachel went above and beyond to take great care of our pup! She was very interested in all our dog’s quirks and triggers and she took them very seriously which led to our pup feeling really safe with her immediately. She even picked up extra supplies when we ran out of them accidentally, and she sent lots of pics and videos so I never had to wonder how things were going. Will definitely recommend + book her again soon!”

Coupeville pet parents share their Rover experiences
Wonderful, simply wonderful. We could write 5 pages of examples of how well Sylvia took care of our girls (2 really big newfies). We have never left the girls with strangers (or neighbors) so we were very nervous. All for not! She left us a detailed daily diary, she texted often and included videos and/or photos, she did not hesitate to ask questions, she kept up our floors (no small job with newfs), and encouraged time outside and playtime. She is very flexible and so loving to our girls (maybe they are looking out the front window for Sylvia to come back!) We would highly recommend Sylvia without any hesitation as pet sitter, house sitter and newfie friend and caretaker.
