About: Dogs and cats (and hamsters) love me--because I love and take good care of them! I have been taking care of pets since I was 10 years old. I have a flexible schedule and am happy to work out times with you. Weekends or week nights are okay. I prefer a two night minimum stay. I take frequent walks and play with the dogs I care for. I give them loving attention, and feed them according to the pet parent's instructions.

We have a lovely fully fenced 8+ acres property and comfy home for your dog(s) to have the run of along with our 2 dogs. We are both home all day and there is always someone here at all times. No dog is left home alone. We also have a caretaker who tends to the the 2 horses and mini donkey (whom live in separate pastures from the main property, as well as / goats that live in a back pasture. We have a fully fenced 8 acre property with a four ft fence. Dogs are free to have access to entire property as well as free range indoors. We have a very comfortable home with a large wrap around deck and 5 exits. So it’s in/out all day as much as any dog wants/needs. It’s truly doggie heaven here and most people want to stay themselves when they drop off their dogs. We don’t care for more than 2 at a time.

I normally have a flexible routine that can be worked around whatever is best for you and your furball. I do ask for a few hours notice to be available. I treat your home as my own and your pets as my own. I normally like to keep things clean, cozy, and respectful. I feel like that’s the normal experience anyone wants when walking into a home or meeting someone for the first time. So why not make it any everything you do type of thing!

About: Growing up with both cats and dogs and currently living with our dog Kylo and cat Kala, I have a genuine love for taking care of pets. Love getting out on walks, and with Kylo being a husky, I am definitely used to some leash pulling! We also love a good game of tug-of-war. Working from home, I can be super attentive to your pup’s needs. We have a fenced in yard that they can have access to at anytime throughout the day. While I am not a trainer by any means, I worked with a trainer when we first rescued Kylo that gave me a lot of confidence to work well dogs and understand their behavior more. My first experience dog sitting was for a husky of a family member. We would go on walks, and she loved trying to chase the deer in the neighborhood. Subsequently, the neighbors asked if I would come sit for their Rhodesian Ridgeback, who was just a large ball of energy! I can provide play time and will also ensure that your dog will be comfortable during their stay. I work full time from home but am done with work around 2pm. Working from a computer makes it easy to keep an eye on your dog, be able to take breaks to play and potty, and follow up with lots of good afternoon time. I have a fenced in yard, and Kylo is very friendly and would love to play with your dog. Our cat is kept separate from the dogs.

I’ve cared for dogs for over 12 years, including Italian Greyhounds, Dachshunds, Whippets, Chihuahuas, Poodles, Border Collies, and Terriers. My lifestyle is quiet and calm, which makes me especially attuned to sensitive, low-energy, and senior dogs who need a little extra understanding. My own dog, Clark, a whimsical and willful 12-year-old Poodle, recently passed from mitral valve disease which progressed to congestive heart failure. While this is sadly common in Poodles and other small breeds, it’s never enough time to say goodbye. Through supporting Clark, I became deeply experienced in senior care- administering oral medications, monitoring for signs of distress, and creating a peaceful environment where he could feel safe and loved. I’m comfortable with medication management, light grooming (teeth brushing if tolerated, baths, and nail trims), and I keep essentials like pee pads, a litter box, and a playpen for dogs who are dual-trained or prefer enclosed rest. I also have a backpack carrier for pups under 15 lbs who like to come along on errands. I live near downtown Seattle, so I’m very vigilant during walks. I keep dogs on a close leash when needed, and for small dogs I’ll scoop them up if a large dog, bike, or scooter is approaching or when crossing busy streets. Safety is always my top priority. I’m typically home all day, and if I do step out, it’s never for more than 3–4 hours. I know the local emergency vets in Seattle and can quickly recognize signs of illness or stress. My goal is to provide attentive, reliable care that feels like an extension of your own love for your dog. Since I’m currently in school remotely, I’m home all day to provide attention and care. I may run errands but takes no more than 3-4 hours. If your pet is under 15lbs, I can Carry them in my backpack pet carrier and they can come with me. My apartment building is very secure. A fob is required on entry. The building is quiet and I like to keep a short leash upon entering and leaving.
