About: I grew up with a lab and a german shepherd, and my family now has a golden doodle. We got him as a super active puppy, I helped train him to be a service dog, and now he's 11 years old! I've been pet sitting since high school on and off, whenever any neighbors or friends needed help. I love playing with dogs, petting them, and going on walks (walking is even better with dogs)! I've watched multiple of my friends cats, and have shared apartments with many cats as well. I've always been and will forever be an animal lover, and since moving to Washington I've been missing my animal time!! I am attending the School of Wooden Boat Building, which has classes M-F all day. However, there is a lunch break that I could drop in during, as long as they are close to the school. I would be able to make early mornings and all evenings after 5:30pm work, as well as all day on the weekends. I'm unable to keep pets in my apartment, however I've taken care of animals in lots of different kinds of houses/apartments. I am able to crate dogs, make sure indoor cats don't escape, etc.

About: Since I was a child my family has had pets in the home. When I was 9 my sister and I collaborated to earn ourselves a kitten and since then pet care has been an important part of my life both the cuddly and the smelly. Most of my experience is with cats, I have one myself who is a total sweetheart once she gets comfortable. I’ve watched over and managed multiple cat households, senior cats, outdoor cats, and cats that have required oral medication. I also have experience watching over dogs, taking them out when needed, playing with them to help tire them out. I am comfortable walking dogs big and small, I am not professionally trained but know I can hold my own when needed. I’m currently between jobs so have plenty of time to care for your pets! About: Growing up with both cats and dogs and currently living with our dog Kylo and cat Kala, I have a genuine love for taking care of pets. Love getting out on walks, and with Kylo being a husky, I am definitely used to some leash pulling! We also love a good game of tug-of-war. Working from home, I can be super attentive to your pup’s needs. We have a fenced in yard that they can have access to at anytime throughout the day. While I am not a trainer by any means, I worked with a trainer when we first rescued Kylo that gave me a lot of confidence to work well dogs and understand their behavior more. My first experience dog sitting was for a husky of a family member. We would go on walks, and she loved trying to chase the deer in the neighborhood. Subsequently, the neighbors asked if I would come sit for their Rhodesian Ridgeback, who was just a large ball of energy! I can provide play time and will also ensure that your dog will be comfortable during their stay. I work full time from home but am done with work around 2pm. Working from a computer makes it easy to keep an eye on your dog, be able to take breaks to play and potty, and follow up with lots of good afternoon time. I have a fenced in yard, and Kylo is very friendly and would love to play with your dog. Our cat is kept separate from the dogs.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
