“Will was very easy to communicate with and took great care of Blakely. She seemed to be in great spirits when we picked her up. I would definitely recommend Will for future visits”

“Luke, my senior rescue dog, just spent the weekend with Matt and Sander. My dog is shy and still recovering from the trauma of being lost and found when I adopted him in January. This was his first experience with a dog sitter, and he seemed to do very well. Matt and Sander were sensitive and attentive to Luke's needs, and it looked like Luke was quite comfortable with this family and their dog. So I have booked another stay.”
“Barbara was great, she sent pictures while we were away, and I could tell she really cared. She answered all questions. Barbara's response was immediate, which is very nice when your doggie is somewhere else. Would book Barbara again. Dorrit Jensen”

“Morgan is a wonderful sitter with the sweetest family. She was communicative and happily accommodated my last minute request. My fur-baby was happy and well taken care of during my absence. 10/10 would book again!”

“Very very satisfied. My dog is 160 pounds of love and came out bouncing after a two day stay. She sent photos of him playing with another dog and having a great time. I highly recommend Rachael as a go to for dog sitting.”

“We had an amazing experience with Cynthia! She took care of Milo for two days and treated him like her own. She kept us updated, made sure he was comfortable, and gave him lots of attention and care. It was clear that Milo was happy and well cared for the entire time. We felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!”

We love Mary’s confidence with dogs. She provides a great environment outdoors and indoors that is safe and loving.”

“Yoda loved it there before we even left. They have all the toys and even a little coat for him. They took videos of Yoda going on walks and playing. Sherrie and Bill are a lovely couple and did a great job caring for Yoda. They have a closed-in backyard to keep dogs safe. When we go out of town, we hope they're available.”

“Teanna took excellent care of Lucy. She kept me up to date and Lucy was excited to see her. Lucy will definitely be going back to Teanna. I trust she is in great hands with her.”

Cat caregivers near you - Marrowstone
About: I have had dogs my entire life and can't imagine life without them! Most of mine were rescues but I have a heart for all (also including cats, horses, donkeys, chickens). My 14-year-old hound mix Charlie crossed the Rainbow Bridge a few years and while he took a little bit of my heart with him, I really miss being with and caring for animals again. I have filled this need with pet sitting and volunteering at equine rescues and equine-assisted therapy non profits. If you want your big and little ones treated and loved just as you would do, I’m here. I’m a baby-on-the-sofa, next-to-me-in-bed kind of pet carer — and I’m happy to follow your rules if that means floors and crates (there’s still plenty of opportunity for love and affection). We will walk, play, snuggle and be as active as your pet needs. We can do car rides and doggy parks, visit friends, have play dates, go for puppucinos. I’m flexible, open, and want only for your pets to be as happy with me as they are when you’re home. I’m what I always looked for in my extensive use of pet sitters: dependable, committed, at home most of the time, and a true animal lover. I’m happy to administer meds as needed, have cared for my own senior dogs with limitations (deaf, dementia, physical limitations, hospice). I will not only care for your fur family as I would my own (which means a whole lotta of love, interaction, play, and attention), but I will care for your home in the same manner. I’m all grown up, mature, responsible, and reliable and have been a homeowner for years. Your home will be clean and maintained, ready for your return, and your pets will be cared for and happy to see you. I have been fortunate to have had at-home pet sitters who were superb. That’s what I wish to offer to someone else and their fur babies. Peace of mind, certainty that all is well, and confidence that their pets are safe, sound, and happy. I am retired from Emory University, so I am readily available. What Susan would like to know about your pet? Please let me know feeding habits, amounts, times. Normal bed/wake-up times. In and out times. Walking preferences, favorite toys, favorite activities. If there’s anything that scares or worries your pet, tell me. Medical history, let me know. Additional Skills Oral Medication Administration Special Needs Dog Experience Senior Dog Experience Cat care-also chickens and birds Can provide daily exercise. I am soon to be retired, work at home part-time and am finally fulfilling my passions-pet sitting, equine rescue volunteering and just bumming around. What could be better-dogs, horses and retirement? Your pet’s usual day is my day. Sleep late or not. Go for multiple brisk or leisurely (sniffing time!) walks. Lounge around at home or go for rides or to the doggy park. I’m flexible, open, and want only to make your little ones as happy as they can be without you.

“For peace of mind, for conscientious care, Bevin is our first choice. We use her services for house sitting our four cats. She asks questions for things she needs to know. She keeps in touch with photos every day. In short, we trust her in our home and with our pets.”

“Chantelle was so kind and attentive. She was attentive to my cat, Chiari, provided updates, and played with her. I’m so grateful for her help and care. Definitely would recommend booking with her!”

“Margaret is the Best! She took very good care of my cat son Peanut. She even taught him how to “sit” on command. I trust Margaret in my home and in caring for my prescious Peanut. I highly recommend Margaret 😊”

About: I’ve taken care of cats my entire life. We had an older cat and also kittens as well. Cats are truly amazing I really love taking care of cats. I think my favorite part is training cats how to sit!
About: So my name is Aydin and I’d consider myself a pet care & housesitting professional at this point. I’ve used TrustedHouseSitters and Rover for over a year not to live all around the Puget Sound basically for free. I’ve completed over 20 housesits and a handful of dog-walking gigs so far and managed to keep a 4.9 star overall rating😋 I care deeply about the animals I take care of and often grow a close bond to them☺️ I promise your pets and home are in good hands with me if you choose to hire me. I always send lots of pictures if requested and try to be on top of communication at all times. After doing this full time and truly falling in love with Seattle over the last year I’ve decided to get myself a small studio apartment there so I can have a space of my own and a real address😂 but I hope to continue doing rover with anyone who needs any help at all🫶 Currently I'm in Seattle petsitting a sweet cat from December 29th through February 5th. I'll be taking care of three dogs in Vancouver, WA in February. I provide as much enrichment for your pet as you'll allow! I love going on walks and runs with dogs, love taking dogs to the dog park and just letting them run around or chase their ball. I can provide bathroom breaks as frequently as you'd like, and I love giving treats to them often. I love cuddling and petting almost any animal, love playing tug, and just doing whatever makes them happy:)

I can stick to your dogs normal routine and of course provide updates and photos throughout their stay. Whether your pet is energetic or prefers a more relaxed environment, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for. Nothing is more important to me than your pets safety and happiness. I have a fully fenced in backyard for safe playtime, and two friendly, well socialized dogs who love making new friends! I always supervise introductions, closely monitor playtime, and can separate pets if needed to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort. I’ll follow your pets feeding schedule, and medication instructions, and of course any special care instructions to ensure they feel right at home! I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family!

About: I have had 2 dogs and 2 cats in the past and loved them dearly. I haven't had my own dogs recently but have enjoyed my friends dogs and cats immensely! I miss the company of pets and thought this would be an excellent way to have my pet fix by taking care of other peoples pets. Please bring your pets bed or if he or she is comfortable they are free to sleep with me and sit on any couch or chair in the house. I would love to take them for walks to the beach if you approve. I would take them for walks around this quite neighborhood and since I am retired we would have lots of time together to play and enjoy each others company.

About: Hi! I’m Ezra 😊 I’ve spent my life around animals, growing up with big dogs and cats and now working at an animal sanctuary for cats, dogs, and farm animals. I’m very comfortable with administering medications, high energy dogs, and senior and puppy care. Because of my background in animal welfare, I have a special patience for nervous dogs who might be wary of men, and pets/breeds who might be labelled “difficult”. I know how to give them the space they need to feel secure and build the trust needed to keep them happy while you’re away. I adore animals of all kinds and can’t wait to get to know your furry (and feathered) family members! 🐾🩷 I work from home most days, and am lucky to have a 4-day work week. All that means I spend a lot of time with my pets! I’m an early riser, so in the mornings me and my dog will often be on local trails, off leash parks, at Double Bluff, or wandering our sleepy Clinton neighborhood. We love to play in my fully fenced yard regularly throughout the day. Fridays and my weekends are all about enjoying the beautiful PNW with my pup and I’d love to bring your pets along for the ride! In my home, pets are welcome on the furniture and treated like members of the family. Paws are wiped off when we come back inside, and everyone has free roam of the house. When necessary we have gates to seperate upstairs and downstairs areas, so if your pet needs some private time on their own couch, it’s available to them! At your house, I treat your space with the same level of care I give your pets. I’ll make sure the mail is brought in, your plants are watered, the house stays tidy, and the locks are triple checked. Because I work with rescued animals, I’m also very intentional about maintaining your pet’s routine to minimize any anxiety while you’re away. When we’re out, I’m hyper-vigilant about leash safety and harness checks. If your dog is a flight risk or just easily spooked, I have the experience to keep them focused, happy, and secure. I know I need lots of updates when I’m on vacation, so you’ll get plenty of photos from me from each visit! No judgement if you’re a helicopter pet parent, I promise 😉

“Hazel had a blast hanging out with Jax! She came home happy, tired, and well cared for. It was clear she had a wonderful time, and we’d definitely trust Virginia with Hazel again!”

“Barbara H. has a great fenced yard with lots of smells for my dog. She went above and beyond with a walk and tender loving care. I could feel it when I picked Zayda up. My dog was calm and content. Thank you!”

Every pet has their own personality and routine, and I’m happy to follow whatever makes them feel most comfortable. My goal is for your pets to feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away. ❤️🐶🐱 I’m a stay-at-home mom to three school-aged children and a toddler, which gives me a flexible schedule outside of school drop-off and pick-up. I’m available for boarding and daytime care, and I’m committed to providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. I’ll do my best to accommodate your schedule and make the process simple and stress-free. There’s also a nearby dog park for pups who would enjoy some extra exercise. My two pets freely roam our home, but I can easily create separate spaces whenever needed to help everyone feel comfortable. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine, feeding schedule, crate time, and individual needs. Whether your pet is playful, shy, energetic, or prefers a little quiet time, I’ll make sure they feel respected and cared for. About: Hello Pet Owners- I am a guy living in Shoreline. I am trying to come away from a 30 year career and work my way into a quiet, peace-filled retirement. Hopefully one filled with wonderful dogs. I have owned dogs virtually all of my life. They are my children, and are treated as such. I care deeply about them, their welfare, and their happiness. Over the years I have dealt with medications, blind dogs, cancer, three legged dogs, and wheelchair dogs like Gracie. My current dog, MoMo is sweet as pie, but quite lonely, and wants a few new companions. I live in Shoreline, and access two different dog parks for exercise and social activity. I drive a new pick-up truck so your dog will ride in comfort. I have both Venmo and PayPal, to make payments electronic and easy for everyone. I also have a fully fenced yard, if you and your dog are searching for warm, comfortable overnight accommodations. Please reply and we’ll discuss arrangements, rates, and build a system of comfort and exercise for your dog. I am trying to retire, which for me, involves lots of time with dogs. So I am readily available to care for your pets in a daily, weekly, or whatever basis works with your schedule. My dog, and so yours as well, will be well attended to. I don’t allow dogs on the furniture, and I prefer to not use cages, but am happy to if your dog is used to or prefers that type of structure to be comfy. I have plenty of dog beds for comfort, I use all naturally made and healthy dog treats. I have a fully fenced yard which is occasionally visited by brave squirrels, so activity and amusement is plentiful. There are a number of toys, ropes, balls, bones and other chew toys for those dogs who simply need some time to chew and think about life in general. Dogs are put out when they need it, and let in when it’s time to nap. Just as it should be.
“I went out of town for 6 days and Craig was able to walk, feed, and provide companionship for my dog. He was well liked by Obi and when I arrived back he was happy to show me Craig with his tail wagging. Craig provided exactly what Obi needed.”

About: —~> Ask about Farm Animal Care <~— Spending time with animals is a gift. It is a joy to meet new furry friends and give them extra love while their caretakers are out adventuring or working. I love to go for walks on the beach or in the woods. I like to chase sunsets and sunrises. All of which are more enjoyable with sweet creatures. I adore giving affection and opportunities to play for both cats and dogs. I have tended to a variety of different types of animals over the years. Some need ample one on one attention. Which I accommodate by giving them solo walks and separate meal times when requested. Others who loved to be social or had other animal roommates that needed plenty of outdoor time. Elder cats and dogs who needed extra special care, medication, fluids, and special diets. Dog and cat drop ins can make a world of difference for an animal navigating extended time away from their people/person. I give them all focused attention, consideration, bonding interactions and love. Dog walks are a vital key to their health and well being. It takes a village to tend to our critters too! Human and animal. I have many special spots for them to enjoy throughout the Olympic Peninsula. Including safe off leash areas when requested. I have a 7 year old dog, Hoodi. She does not come with me for cat or dog drop ins. Dog walks can include her company or not, always at your discretion. She does join me for overnight pet sitting and loves other dogs. She tends towards submissive and loves to chase and play. She is very mellow indoors and enjoys watching the activity of others. Throughout her life she has helped with pet sits. For her first four years of life she lived with two other dogs. She is a great addition to any pack. I have experience farm sitting which includes plant watering of green house, gardens, field and pasture. As well as goat milking, poultry care, and feeding of cows, horses, goats and pigs. Feel free to message me in booking about pricing for full time/part time farm care. Please note my pet sitting is limited to the Olympic Peninsula and Kitsap County. I pet sit most frequently in Port Townsend, Discovery Bay, Sequim, Blyn, Port Ludlow, Brinnon, Port Gamble, Quilcene, Chimacum, Port Hadlock, Irondale, and Marrowstone Island. Occasionally I will work in Port Angeles, Joyce, Forks, Queets, Poulsbo, Kingston, Bremerton, Bainbridge and Silverdale. I prefer extended house sits and like to build solid bonds with animals. I prioritize repeat clients. I have additional references outside of Rover. As many of my clients book me via word of mouth. This profile gives ease of access to my calendar. I currently work seasonally teaching art based school break kids camps and afterschool programing on the Olympic Peninsula. I spend the rest of my time making art from home and adventuring outdoors. This means I can have extended quality time with your pet(s) for walks and/or outdoor play and indoor care. Summer is my busiest season as a teacher. I have less availability during it. I believe maintaining routines and exercise is important for the physical and emotional well being of all animals. I will strive to uphold this and adapt my schedule as best as I can for your pet(s). I enjoy taking the time to communicate with you about your desires, concerns, texting check ins and sending sweet photos for your peace of mind. As every pet is an important family member. I know them to be kin.
“Phoenix was very happy to take Jenifer for a walk. She said he did very well for her. I would recommend Jenifer because Phoenix liked her and was very happy when he came home. Jenifer was on time and very pleasant to talk with.”

About: I treat every dog like my own and focus on creating a calm, safe, and positive environment. I’m patient, reliable, and always pay close attention to each dog’s personality and needs. Whether your pup is energetic, shy, or a senior who needs gentle care, I adjust my approach to make them feel comfortable. Im currently working remotely and part time, so I have plenty of time to make pet care part of my daily routine. Great help for you and for me I create a calm, safe, and pet-friendly environment where dogs can feel relaxed and happy. I keep a consistent routine with regular walks, playtime, feeding schedules, and quiet rest periods. I pay close attention to each dog’s comfort, behavior, and energy level, and adjust activities to fit their personality.
“Leah is SO wonderful! She really helped me out on short notice. She is a great communicator, and helped feed my dog after his walk!! You’re in good hands with her. Thank you so much Leah for your help again!”

“Margaret is extremely conscientious and dedicated. She did say thorough call to understand my dog's behaviors and needs. Since Carly is a dog-reactive rescue with a traumatic history, and we have been working with a trainer, I am always reluctant to have someone new walking her. It's hard to be sure they will reinforce her training and ensure a calm walk, even if they encounter other dogs. Margaret made sure to understand and use the same equipment and commands and techniques we are using to give Carly the exercise she needed while my partner and I were sick. I would have no qualms having her house-sit and stay with Carly. I know she is trustworthy and genuinely cares about the animals she spends time with. I would highly recommend her for anyone, especially those who are nervous about their dogs with others. Carly is friendly and loves all people, and she has a little separation anxiety and more than a little territoriality around other dogs. And yet Margaret handled her expertly and lovingly, gaining both her trust and mine. She even suggested ways to help training progress with fewer treats and more praise as Carly improves her threshold around other dogs. Margaret not only came through on short notice, but she instantly built a relationship with both us and our dog which means she will be my go-to walker and sitter from now on.”

“Morgan is a wonderful sitter with the sweetest family. She was communicative and happily accommodated my last minute request. My fur-baby was happy and well taken care of during my absence. 10/10 would book again!”

“Mounica took care of our dog, Chip, for 10 days, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Chip was happy, comfortable, and clearly enjoyed his stay. “Ai took great care of my dog Jasper while I was away for a week. Although he was a bit resistant at first, Ai got Jasper to warm up to her quickly and he got along well with her cats. She provided regular updates about how he was doing and sent me lots of pictures. Ai is also so thoughtful in wanting her guests to be comfortable that she asked for Jasper to arrive a little earlier than my booking to help him settle in before I was away and harder to reach. She was also very gracious in transferring care to my friends who watched Jasper for me for the remainder of my trip. I would 100% book with Ai again and highly recommend her to board your pets.”

“Berkeley had the best time with PJ B! They provided plenty of photos and thorough updates about Berks while we were gone for the weekend. An abundance of fun and exercise left our dog wiped out and cuddly when we got home — just what we needed after a long weekend. Thanks so much!”
“It was our first time using Rover! Sheena was super kind & helpful with the process … she made sure her doggies would get along with Kuzco before we even booked anything! Thankfully, the 3 of them ended up playing well together at the doggie park & it solidified our decision to board him for two weeks with her family :) Kuzco came back to us super healthy and happy from his stay with Sheena! We couldn’t have asked for anything better. It was a great experience & we would definitely use her again!”
