About: I've taken care of dogs throughout my entire life, and was active in training my border collie/lab mix Akila in my young adulthood. I have a warm and gentle spirit that tends to put all animals (humans included!) at ease in my presence. I have worked with untrained young dogs, puppies, and I love a challenge! I am currently working a very flexible schedule, so I will be prioritizing bookings from Rover as much as possible! I'm excited to gain more experience with lots of different dogs, as I'm looking to adopt myself. I wasn't allowed to have a dog in past housing, so I'm very enthusiastic about lots of pup time. I do not have a house that is available to take more dogs in for care, so I will only be doing drop-ins, walks, and house-sitting at this time. This may change in the future. In a client's home, I have years of experience house-sitting, babysitting, and I prioritize client's routines and wishes above all else. My desire is to provide a stress-free, pleasant experience for the dogs, so that they are happy and healthy when their parents come home to them!

About: I’ve had dogs around me all my life from puppies to elderly care, from changing diapers to walks, I take care of all dogs equally. I am part-time with a flexible schedule and free in the winter for now, so I am able to spend time with your fur babies any time. I love my current dog of 6 years but she cautious of other animals so I am unable to house any animals but I am able to care for pets at their own home where they are comfortable.

I definitely ask a lot of questions about your dog or cats routine and what they are used to so it’s not super stressful. I would love to get to know your pet first so they are used to me and aren’t scared. What kind of treats they like or if they have any restrictions.

About: I've had pets my entire life. Dogs, cats, rats, hamsters, fish, etc. I absolutely love animals of all shapes and sizes. I volunteer at the SPCA in my spare time because I just can't get enough. I have a fairly flexible schedule and a reliable vehicle. I would love to set up a regular schedule so that I can plan in advance for the best care possible. I have an older Chihuahua who is very mellow and gets along with all animals and humans. I have a grassy open area for play as well as a fenced off area for off leash play.

We have 2 friendly dogs of our own and they would be welcoming to your dog. We have lots of property for the dogs to run and play and a trail out back for the dogs to explore. We have a fully fenced 8 acre property with a four ft fence. Dogs are free to have access to entire property as well as free range indoors. We have a very comfortable home with a large wrap around deck and 5 exits. So it’s in/out all day as much as any dog wants/needs. It’s truly doggie heaven here and most people want to stay themselves when they drop off their dogs. We don’t care for more than 2 at a time.

Over the years I have dealt with medications, blind dogs, cancer, three legged dogs, and wheelchair dogs like Gracie. My current dog, MoMo is sweet as pie, but quite lonely, and wants a few new companions. I live in Shoreline, and access two different dog parks for exercise and social activity. I drive a new pick-up truck so your dog will ride in comfort. I have both Venmo and PayPal, to make payments electronic and easy for everyone. I also have a fully fenced yard, if you and your dog are searching for warm, comfortable overnight accommodations. Please reply and we’ll discuss arrangements, rates, and build a system of comfort and exercise for your dog. I am trying to retire, which for me, involves lots of time with dogs. So I am readily available to care for your pets in a daily, weekly, or whatever basis works with your schedule. My dog, and so yours as well, will be well attended to. I don’t allow dogs on the furniture, and I prefer to not use cages, but am happy to if your dog is used to or prefers that type of structure to be comfy. I have plenty of dog beds for comfort, I use all naturally made and healthy dog treats. I have a fully fenced yard which is occasionally visited by brave squirrels, so activity and amusement is plentiful. There are a number of toys, ropes, balls, bones and other chew toys for those dogs who simply need some time to chew and think about life in general. Dogs are put out when they need it, and let in when it’s time to nap. Just as it should be.

About: Grew up on a farm with horses, raised kareem’s bear dogs as a kid! Lots of puppy training as well as. dogs of all kinds around the barn with visitors. great at training dogs to run and use the leash. I know all the best spots around seattle for dog walks and sunset gazing. i work from home full time and constantly taking my own dogs for walks! usually an shout at a park in the morning and neighboorhod school yards at night or spins around the neighborhood. making sure i follow detailed pet care instructions, sending constant photos, lots of toys and snacks to keep them entertained. Since Carly is a dog-reactive rescue with a traumatic history, and we have been working with a trainer, I am always reluctant to have someone new walking her. It's hard to be sure they will reinforce her training and ensure a calm walk, even if they encounter other dogs. Margaret made sure to understand and use the same equipment and commands and techniques we are using to give Carly the exercise she needed while my partner and I were sick. I would have no qualms having her house-sit and stay with Carly. I know she is trustworthy and genuinely cares about the animals she spends time with. I would highly recommend her for anyone, especially those who are nervous about their dogs with others. Carly is friendly and loves all people, and she has a little separation anxiety and more than a little territoriality around other dogs. She even suggested ways to help training progress with fewer treats and more praise as Carly improves her threshold around other dogs.
