When the time came for me to leave, things were a bit of a mess at home. Lightning hit my house 4 days before I was leaving and a friend who lost her rental home unexpectedly was moving into my basement apartment. Needless to say, life was a bit hectic around my place. Kayla was incredibly understanding and not only took great care of my house and my pets. She truly went above and beyond! About: I’ve had a pet consistently since I was in middle school. My love for animals started way before then. I have two fur babies a dog (Archie) and a cat (Dottie Mae). I would love to make some new furry friends along the way! What sets me apart from other sitters is my hands on experience caring for both my cat and my dog everyday. Through taking care of them, I’ve learned a lot about feeding routines, playtime, and making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for. As my pets have gotten older and are now seniors, I’ve gained experience with senior pet care including being more attentive to their needs, comfort and changes in behavior. I treat every pet as if they were my own fur baby. I work full time M-F but am available after 4pm on weekdays. I am also available most weekends. In the summer time, I have full availability on Fridays starting at the end of May! When taking care of my pets in my home, I focus on making sure they feel safe, comfortable and cared for. I make sure the space is pet-friendly and make sure my animals have their own space where they can relax if needed. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and follow all care instructions carefully. My goal is to keeps pets happy and stress free while their owner is away, as a pet mom myself I know how important that is.

About: I am a Veterinary student at a local college. I have raised dogs and cats growing up. I do kennel work for shelters, and I am starting clinicals for school this summer to give me even more hands-on experience with the animals.
