“Odette was a fantastic sitter for my dog, Fozzie. She sent me photos & videos of him happy and playing in the yard and with her dog, I was worried my dog wouldn’t want to come home! Great communication, would highly recommend! ☺️”

“Allison was amazing! She kept us updated on Benny with plenty of photos and videos, and Benny looked like he had a blast. He came home exhausted from playing with all his new friends! He seemed right at home. We will definitely be reaching out to Allison for future boarding needs!! Thank you!”

“Haley & Ryan took great care of Huck while we were out of the country and sent us pictures and updates each day. It’s so hard to leave your pet but in certain situations it’s unavoidable. It sure makes it easier when you know they’re being treated well. Thanks again!”

“Erin and Joseph did a great job w/ our dogs while we were on vacation. Dogs spent a lot of time outside and were able to run and play. They were much better on the leash as well upon our return (had a little help w/ leash training). Would recommend.”

“My Izzee had such a great time with Tyler and his beautiful family. I could tell right away that they genuinely love dogs. I frequently visit Tn, would definitely rebook and refer Tyler, he was awesome! Thanks again !”

“Hayley and her family were the perfect hosts for our pets. What a personable experience and the dogs seemed to have enjoyed their overnight stay with them and their dog pools ;-) We will be sure to make this their home away from home when we are visiting Nashville in the future.”

“Brynn did a wonderful job keeping our 16 year old Maize comfortable while we were out of town. Brynn shared some great photos keeping us informed. One would make a great Christmas card. Thank you again Brynn. Merry Christmas!”

“We are very happy with Scott's care of our 2 dogs! I (tearfully) dropped them off for a 6-night stay, and they had a 6-night party! The home is clean and peaceful, with a spacious backyard for lots of exercise. We plan to leave our dogs with Scott again, without worry.”

“Lauren was AMAZING! It was my 1st time boarding Maggie and I could not have hoped for a better experience! Maggie was treated like family and didn’t even know I was gone. Lauren was communicative the entire time with updates , pics and videos. I highly recommend! We will be visiting Lauren and Maggie’s new family often!!”

“Sandy was incredibly communicative, kind, and thoughtful. She helps with med administration and sent many pictures. My dog clearly enjoyed being with her and playing with her two cats. I will definitely book with her again.”

“Kayahja took great care of our dog over the holiday weekend. She was reliable, communicative, and made us feel at ease while we were away. We’d happily trust her to watch him again.”

“Carri was highly responsive and took care of our pup on a last minute's notice. We drove from out of town and stayed 30 minutes away from her area. She was very accommodating to our travel plans, and she was flexible for pickup and drop-off. Will certainly be using her again if we need to!”

“It has been such a pleasure and a relief to have left our girl with Kaitlyn and her family. The first time we left her with someone, it was such a sketchy experience that we weren’t sure we’d ever use Rover again. She was covered in fleas and she seemed to develop a bad habit or two. But now our faith has been restored! We got updates with pictures every day, she was clean and had playmates to keep her happy and busy too. I really hope we’re able to come back here if ever we need to ☺️.”

“Dixie had a great stay. Cyndie and her family were so warm and welcoming and it is very clear how much they care for animals. They were wonderful and we will certainly use them again!”

“Brandon did a great job, daily detailed feedback on our two week trip and even cooked for them when their food ran out. The dogs looked healthy and happy when we picked them up, we can tell they had a blast hanging out with other pups. Would recommend”

“Such a great fit for us and our girls! Elizabeth was a perfect host making sure they felt at home. Her 2 pups are precious and played with ours. The videos were fun and reassuring. We will definitely be back! ??????????”

About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs for 50 years. I’ve taken care of up to seven dogs at once. I’ve had big and small dogs. All my dogs are adopted and some have had special needs. I’m retired, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups. I’m currently available to watch or board all week. I love taking dogs for walks. I have a fenced yard. Currently I don’t have any dogs but occasionally I watch my daughters dog. Even though I don’t have dogs I make sure all gates are closed and secured.
“Colten was able to watch my dog super last minute due to a work trip and I was so grateful! He took such great care of my pup and sent pics each day. I’ll definitely be booking with Colten again!”

“Amanda gave such great care of our dog! She gave him all the exercise and love he needs and she was so caring and kind! She even didn't mind the late pick up at nearly midnight! What a great sitter!”

Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
