He responded yes at 630 am and was at my door at 730. My dog happily went with him. He came by 2xs a day. He was communicative and consistent. He was there in a pinch, and I didn't have to worry.”

“Katherine was a delight! I had a series of important work conference calls on my calendar and couldn’t leave my home office. Katherine was a lifesaver. She showed up on time and took Charlie out for playtime. She was so respectful of my space and even put out a fresh potty pad for Charlie! And made sure his water and food was fresh as my call was running long. Charlie enjoyed her loving care and attention. He definitely didn’t want to see her leave. Wow! Thanks Katherine!!”

About: I’ve cared for all kinds of pets, ferrets, cats, dogs, guinea pigs, even horses! While I don’t have any of my own (besides my loca daughter, who’s a little wild herself), I’ve been loving and caring for animals since I was 13. As a Navy service member for the past five years, pet sitting has been my way of staying connected to my passion. I may not do this full-time, but I’ll treat your furry babies like my own and happily follow any routine to keep their tails wagging (or whiskers twitching)! I’m an active duty U.S. Navy sailor stationed here in San Diego for the next three years, with five years of service under my belt. I work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, but thanks to my flexible schedule, I can make 4+ visits to my clients’ homes during the day. On weekends and after work, I’m available for dog walking, cat care, or house sitting. I’m happy to take your dog for a stroll, or even a run if they’re up for some exercise! I’m very flexible and when it comes to timing and days, I’ll work with what is best for you. I don’t offer pet care services in my own home, as I live in an apartment with my 1 year old. However, I’m happy to care for your pets at your home and will carefully follow any instructions you provide.

About: Hi there! I am total animal lover who treats every pet like my own. Whether it’s belly rubs, fun walks, or cuddle time on the couch, I’m here to make your fur baby feel safe, and loved while you’re away! Big or small, shy or playful— I’ve got patience, energy, and lots of love to give! 🐾💛 I can’t promise I won’t be sad when they go back home… I work night shifts on the weekends, typically Friday through Sunday nights. My shifts usually run from late evening to early morning hours. During the weekdays (Monday–Thursday), I’m off and available during the day and evening. I adjust my sleep schedule as needed to stay well-rested and reliable, and I make sure to prioritize any commitments I take on with plenty of time and energy! The same way you care for your pet at home is how I’ll care for them at mine! With love, comfort, and their usual routine to help them feel safe and happy!

“Kerin was very friendly and maintained great communication while taking our pup for walks. She sent plenty of photos so that we knew that our dog was being well taken care of.”

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life -- both my own dogs and as the go-to sitter for friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors. Across my extensive time caring for dogs, I have gained experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I am particularly good with nervous or timid dogs, and I am very comfortable with dogs who have special medical needs. Last year I had to say goodbye to my own greatly beloved dog after two years of very intense cancer care. While I am not ready for a new dog of my own yet, I am eager to shower other people's dogs with affection and care. I have a very flexible schedule and am available for dog care most days. On days listed as available, I am able to spend almost all of the time at home with the dog(s). I do not currently have any other animals in the home, and your dog will receive my full attention! I have a wide variety of dog beds for them to try out and toys for them to play with.

About: I have over ten years of experience caring for and training both domestic and exotic animals. I have been a zookeeper and animal trainer at leading facilities such as The Living Desert Zoo and San Diego Zoo Safari Park. I can care for and train any dog/cat breed or other animal you have. I'm currently working part-time and have a flexible schedule. I can work around your needs for walks or drop-in visits. Feel free to reach out for more information. I am comfortable with all pets. I will provide top-notch care and training using my skills that I have learned working for incredible zoos such as The Living Desert and San Diego Zoo Safari Park. I will treat and care for your pet as if it were my own.

About: Hi, I’m Adam! I’ve loved animals my whole life and grew up with two dogs who taught me early on how rewarding it is to care for pets. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with animals of all ages and temperaments, from energetic kittens to senior cats and dogs needing a gentler touch. I’ve personally cared for my cat who had chronic kidney disease, so I’m confident with giving medications, managing special diets, and recognizing subtle changes in health or behavior. Whether your pet needs playtime, a slow walk, or just quiet companionship, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. I treat every animal like they’re my own and genuinely enjoy building trust and connection with each one I meet. I have a very open and flexible schedule right now, which means I can easily accommodate a wide range of needs, whether it’s daytime visits, evening care, or weekend stays. I’m happy to work around your schedule to make sure your pet gets the attention and care they deserve. To clarify for overnight visits, the overnight rate includes me coming to your home in the evening, staying the night, and leaving in the morning (approximately 8 hrs total). If 24-hr coverage is desired, the rate will be $450/day. I believe a pet is most comfortable in the space they are familiar with, and to keep them comfortable I am happy to spend as much time with them as they need. Whether it's a few hours or overnight, I'm happy to cater to their needs.

About: I watch all my friends dogs and cats all the time. They love me and I love them. Many people call me a dog/cat whisperer. There's a secure calmness within me that I think they all connect and feel comfortable with. I'm currently working part time and from home so my schedule is pretty wide open. I will have plenty of time to spend with your pups(or cats etc). As long as it's ok with the owner, I generally take the dogs wherever I go. I hate leaving them alone unless absolutely necessary. Especially love walking them around town and taking them to the dog park. And cats I am very patient with, if needed and eventually they will approach me. If not needed, I will pet them all day:)

“Sydney watched my cat, Luna, while I was on a work trip. She did an excellent job! He is reliable, a great communicator (sends tons of photos and updates), and is very experienced with cats of all ages and health statuses. Adam is also especially good with senior cats. He is one of the few people who my cranky senior girl likes enough to come out of hiding for, and I'm always confident that she'll get plenty of love and attention when Adam is visiting her. He also has experience caring for cats with health issues and with medication administration, which gives me peace of mind when I'm away. I highly recommend Adam to anyone looking for a highly experienced and responsible cat sitter!”
