“Amy is truly a dog whisperer! My very barky and unsure husky mix warmed up to her within a few minutes and has been great for all the visits. Our other dog, a little beagle, has been a cuddle machine with her. I would recommend Amy with 10 stars if I could. We are definitely having her back!”

Molly truly exceeded our expectations with her amazing care. About: I’ve cared for pets since age 7. Experienced with seniors, puppies, and shy pets. I’m patient, reliable, and treat every animal like family. I pay close attention to each pet’s needs and make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I currently have 2 pets of my own, so I understand how to meet their needs with love and consistency. I’m flexible on weekdays and weekends and happy to adjust my schedule to fit your pet’s routine. I create a calm, pet-friendly environment where animals feel safe and at ease. Whether in my home or yours, I follow all routines, respect boundaries, and keep a close eye on safety—like secure leashes, gates, and feeding instructions. I treat every home and pet with care, trust, and respect. I understand that your pet may need time to adjust to a new environment and/or person, but I am patient and willing to make accommodations according to the pet's needs.

About: I have been a pet owner for the entirety of my adult life and grew up taking care of my family's pets and the pets of friends and neighbors as needed - I have experience caring for dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, fish, - happy to help care for whichever animal friend in your home needs extra love. My partner and I currently own two dogs with a variety of needs - both are rather anxious with different triggers. I'm used to and comfortable making connections with all dogs - from those most anxious to those most friendly! I have experience training and working with dogs with reactivity - one of my pups has leash reactivity that we still work on day-to-day, but he has come leaps and bounds from his anxiety around seeing other dogs on walks! I'm happy to work with dogs who have various energy, anxiety, and health needs when it comes to spoiling them during drop-ins or walks! Outside of behavior-specific skills, I have experience working with medically needy dogs. One of my pets went through a series of reconstructive surgeries after having two broken "ankles" a few years ago. From helping him lift his own body weight for potty breaks, med and pain management, bandage/wound dressing, physical therapy excercise adherence, and above all else, patience and love for the healing process! If you have a pet who has recently been through surgery or has extra medical care needs, I'm ready to learn their routine and help you manage their health and recovery. I work from home throughout the summer months and would LOVE to drop in and help YOU navigate caring for your pet during hectic times in your schedule! I am available most weekdays (except Wednesdays) and weekends for drop-ins, walks, etc. I am pretty flexible and have a wide-open schedule right now to fit your pet's needs into my daily and weekly routine this summer! I am truly dedicated to helping care for your pet in the way that makes sense for you, your pet, your home, etc. I am happy to follow various care instructions including specific walking routes, med or food plans, etc. If you have specific requests for me as a guest in your home as I'm doing drop-ins or walk appointments, I'm happy to follow! I truly am looking to help spoil your animal friends while respecting your routine and needs!

“Caroline took great care of my cat, Monty! She fed him and gave him plenty of attention. He wasn’t nearly as mad when we returned as he normally is. Caroline also left our house exactly as we left it and brought in a package that was delivered while we were gone. Highly recommend!”

“Gabrielle took great care of my two cats. One of them I was especially worried about and she gave me lots of updates and pictures to let me know how he was doing. I really appreciated how thoughtful she was with him!”

“I really have liked Jacob and Sarah! They've been responsive and flexible, and I feel like my dogs are in good hands. And I absolutely love the pictures and updates they send!”

About: I’ve owned cats my whole life, but I love animals of all kinds! I have experience working with dogs cats, rabbits, reptiles, birds, and other small mammals. I started petsitting for my neighbors when I was 12, and I started volunteering at the Animal Humane Society when I was 16. I’m comfortable with administering medications, specific diets, and special needs of any kind, including senior pets. I work full time in Bloomington. My schedule is 10:00-6:30, Monday through Thursday, and 8:30-5:00 on Fridays. I am free before and after work. I have open availability on Saturday and Sunday. I will treat you, your pet, and your home with kindness and respect. My goal is for you to come home to a happy pet and your space exactly as you left it.

“Gillian is the absolute best! She really went above and beyond to care for my dog. She provided updates at every drop in visit (which I was able to book with her on super short notice), walked her and showed her love while I was gone. She also sent studio quality pictures which absolutely made my day while I was missing my pup. I honestly could not have asked for more, she deserves more than 5 stars.”

About: I've loved taking care of pets (both my own and friends') since I was a teenager. I enjoy getting to know each individual pet and their personalities! Trained my own puppies when I was in middle school. Volunteered and visited often at shelters in high school. Currently working freelance, allowing me a very flexible schedule to work around the needs of your pet! Looking for a fun way to get away from the screens! Cannot currently house pets in my home, but open and willing to stay or drop by as often as needed to care for your pet(s). I am very outgoing and energetic to keep them entertained and happy!

About: I have two cats. I understand pets have personalities and are crucial members of the family. I will take care of your pets. I am good under pressure. I can also administer medications if needed. I am looking to get some extra income doing something I love, like pet sitting and hanging out with animals. I find it very rewarding. I take regular care of my pets and ensure that they have lots of attention and play time. They go outside as I have a fenced yard.

Abbott T.

“Abby is an animal lover through and through! Upon her walking in the door, our Goldendoodle Dolly, greets her, drops to the ground, and rolls over on her back because she knows she will be getting belly rubs and snuggles. (Abby also sits on the ground to do this, and this is the only person our 4-year old dog reacts to like this!) She is very responsible with all pet duties, and loves to spend time teaching her new tricks. She’s our first call for help when we need someone to care for our dog, and I highly recommend her to care for YOUR pet!”

Cooper pet parents share their Rover experiences
Lillian was amazing with my cats and did a great job! I really appreciated how punctual and professional she was. My cats are old and shy and it can be a bummer to drop in on them because they’ll hide, but she was still on top of it. Definitely recommend her as a sitter and drop in person for anyone’s special lil buddy.

Ana is amazing! Once again, she was great with our kitty cat Pinky. This time she came to our house everyday to check on her and give her her kitty medicine in her food. She was sweet and kind to Pinky, even when Pinky was not being very friendly because we were gone and she missed us. I think Ana is a cat whisperer!
