“Cierra was the absolute best! She was available for us for las minute drop ins during the weekend and we can’t thank her enough. Through the pictures we can see how comfortable our dogs were with her and it made us feel comfortable knowing they were in good hands. She is great at communicating and made the process easy for everyone. Thank you Cierra!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was a kid. I have experience in administering medication . I also have 2 dog i u I am working part time, but there will always be someone at the house to watch your pup when I am not. A normal day would look like them getting walked and fed for breakfast, lunch and dinner while having walks. Also trips to the huge dog park across the street. I have two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I live in a gated community. The dogs will always have a toy/game to play with.
“Ginger and her brother did a wonderful job watching our 2 kitties! Normally one of our cats is too shy to come out at all when a stranger is at the house, but they managed to bring him out of his shell. They are super nice and respectful. We’ll be booking them again!”

“Alyssa has been great with my cats. I have to go out of town pretty frequently, and it gives me so much peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands while I’m gone. She always makes sure they’re well cared for — giving them treats, cleaning their litter boxes, and spending time petting and playing with them. I also appreciate how she sends a bunch of pictures following the visits. It’s obvious she genuinely cares about animals. She’s even gotten my overly suspicious cat to warm up to here. I never have to worry when Alyssa is watching them. Highly recommend!”

About: I used to work at a veterinary clinic for around 2 years, and I have been a dog owner for 9 years. I have taken care of a wide variety of dogs and I am very comfortable with them. I am a currently a student but on most days I only have class for around 4 hours. Other than that I am fairly flexible outside of taking care of my own dogs I am happy to take your pet on walks for potty breaks as well as let them in your yard depending on your preference. I also am happy to spend time with your pet in your home during drop ins.

About: Hi! I’m a proud rescue dog mom to two amazing pups who are truly part of our family. One of my dogs needed extra care and attention as a puppy, which taught me firsthand how powerful patience, affection, and consistency can be in helping a dog feel safe and loved. I also spent 8 years helping a friend run their dog sitting business, where I gained hands-on experience caring for animals of all personalities, sizes, and energy levels. I also spent 3 years volunteering at a vet clinic. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own, with attention, warmth, and dependable care. I also spent 8 years helping a friend run their dog sitting business, where I gained hands-on experience caring for dogs of all personalities, sizes, and energy levels. After taking a break to focus on my career, I’m excited to return to pet sitting because I genuinely miss spending time with all the wonderful animals out there. “It was our first time using Kristina (and Rover) & we will never leave our dog with anyone else! She was absolutely amazing. We felt so at peace leaving our dog in her care. She gave such detailed messages & photos and we could tell she genuinely cares for our dog. She is amazing!”

“Jessica was fantastic! We needed someone at the last minute to care for our three dogs with multiple visits each day during our Fourth of July weekend trip. She came by for a meet and greet beforehand, and from the very first visit, she was reliable, caring, and communicative. She took great care of all three of our dogs, always walked them, and sent regular updates with photos after each visit, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Jessica is dependable, professional, and clearly loves animals. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy person!!!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
