40 yrs Experience Training dogs
I have been caring and training dogs for 30+ years. Starting at age 14, with my two German shepherds. Dogs are my passion! I train, and competed in agility, rally, dock diving, herding, flyball and disc. I have also helped others train their dogs, in local dog clubs in my hometown. I have been a puppy raiser for Guide dogs, shown dogs in 4-H. I am also a foster for Operation Pets Alive, through local animal shelters. I have been running my pet sitting business since 2003! Pet sitting for me is like having extra fur babies to love and spoil! To me it is not work, because I get to learn more, sitting each pet in my care. Thank you for allowing me this opportunity. I’m away from home no more than 4 hours a day, during the week. I like to use playtime, walks, kongs and my swiftpaws lure coursing to entertain pups. I try to keep pups on their schedule to ease the transition into my home for their stay. I like to keep them busy to ease their stress.

Programa
I devote my time to caring for the dogs I board. I’m out of the house maybe 2 hours on any day. I walk dogs in Jacob’s Reserve

I have a recently updated wooden fence. Two of our dogs enjoy playing with others. Making sure that every dog in my care is safe and happy is my highest concern.

I enjoy walking around my neighborhood. I love cuddles, and engaging with toys and keeping my guests busy and happy. I also use my swiftpaws to help the higher energy dogs settle in.

- I like to know the schedules of my guests to ease the transition into my home. What is their potty schedule, what time do they eat? Any fears with loud noises, thunderstorms, fireworks? Are they crate trained? I have experienced a broad range of breeds and personalities as a trainer. Every dog has the ability for me to learn something new.
