“She was so kind and thoughtful with our sweet babies She gave off such a good energy, and I had no hesitations about leaving them with her. The care and love she has for dogs absolutely comes through. Would definitely book her again!”
“Jordana connected with my kitty right away and took great care of her. She is very dependable, takes great pictures to share with me and handles the feeding, playing and litter box with love. Highly recommend her for your pet care!”

“Mary took wonderful care of my Boston Terrier, Archie, for an extended period, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the level of care she provided. She arrived on time each day and shared plenty of updates and photos, which gave me great peace of mind. I highly recommend Mary and would absolutely use her again.”

“Olivia is the best! My bully girl really loves her bc she's so gentle and friendly. Its obvious how much attention she give her while she's in my home and I feel perfectly comfortable with her. She always has very detailed reports of her visits and I look forward to all the pictures she takes during them as well:)”

“Jeannette took so much time to care for Kingsley, our older dog. He was happy to see her, and she gave us great updates on his care while we were out of town. Jeannette was clearly patient and so kind to our boy. Thank you!!”

“Amazing dog sitter. She went above and beyond for my two dogs. She provided walks and love to both of them while I was away. She’s incredibly knowledgeable about dogs and their health. She was so caring and took time to help my bernadoodle with his ear infection. 10/10 highly recommended!!”

“Colleen is fantastic!!! I have three cats and one dog, two of which are older and one is reluctant to eat and requires medication. I was super nervous to leave them especially since my older cat will just decide not to eat if any tiny thing changes in his routine. Colleen is an absolute star. She got right in and dealt with all of my pets’ individual needs as well as MY anxieties, lists and stickynotes. I got multiple texts with every single visit and she responded to MY texts immediately. I could tell with every photo or text she sent that my furbabes were getting excellent care. I definitely look forward to trusting Colleen with my furchildren again! ?”
“Cassandra was amazing with our shy cat and helped her feel comfortable to start coming out while we were away! Communication was great during our trip and we will definitely book her again.”

“Linda takes great care of my 3-pet crew when I'm out of town. She really caters to my senior dog's likes and dislikes, and she also makes sure my 2 cats are cared for too. She is very dependable and I know they are well cared for and I don't have to worry. I especially love all the photos she shares since I always miss my fur babies when I'm gone!”

“Christa was a life saver. I can never fully enjoy my vacations because I think about my little guys alone in a boarding facility. I have a special needs dachshund named Maui. She's paralyzed in her back end and needs her bladder manually expressed. Very few boarding facilities will accept her. Christa came to our home three times per day, loved on, played with and cared for our three dogs and our parrot. I've never come home from a trip and found my dogs so happy and relaxed and clean. Christa went above and beyond.”
“Toni is amazing! She spent the time to get to know my pup and was great with him. Her experience with her own pets is evident, and she is a trustworthy walker! She was flexible and communicated clearly!”

“Joseph was very professional and fully capable of caring for my precious Pittie in my absence. I was very worried at first as this was my first time but Joseph made sure to send me updates (pictures & videos) to keep me in the loop during time of care. I would highly recommend his services and will be utilizing his services as well in the future. My dog bonded with him very early on which made it much easier for all of us. Kudos Joseph!”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats since the age of 2.I’ve grown to love all animals. All shapes and sizes.Family and Friends always call in need of a sitter and I’ve always took the opportunity faithfully.I do what is asked and get what needs to get done.Simple. I am in the Army Reserves and do Rover Full-Time. I’m looking for something extremely fun and time consuming.I don’t mind sitting.I’d rather have an apartment full of cats and dogs. I do what is asked and what is needed.I do not have a yard, but a park is just a 15 minute walk from my apartment.Being that I am jobless, walks, potty breaks and feeding times will be met.My apartment is spacious and my bed is big enough.I just want to keep these babies happy.Same routine as at there home.
“Shanisa has both boarded my dogs and did a drop in when I was late for a dinner. She is reliable and makes sure to center the comfort of my pups. She understands that my dogs are my world and treats them well.”

She kept me updated with how they were eating, behaving and going potty. I received a lot of pictures and peace of mind. She had no problem doing a meet and greet before we left. About: I don't just watch dogs—I welcome them into my family. Every pup receives personalized attention, a safe environment, and lots of love while you're away. I work for the Red Clay School District, so I have weekends, holidays, and summers off. My typical work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and my school is very close to home, which allows me to come home during my lunch breaks. I make it a priority not to leave the pups home alone for more than four hours at a time, so they get plenty of attention and care throughout the day. Your dog will be welcomed into my home like family. I have a fully fenced yard, two friendly Shih-Poos who love making new friends, and a calm, loving environment. I'll follow your pet's routine, including feeding, medications, potty breaks, and any special instructions, so they feel safe, comfortable, and right at home while you're away.
“Boys loved their time with Robbie, and he was an excellent communicator the whole time, and was flexible on such short notice as well! Would love to have the boys spend time with him again when needed!”

Emily’s service was superb! She took personal time to come for a meet and greet with my cats and to pay attention to care instructions. We received many pictures and updates at every visit. We felt at ease knowing that she was taking care of our babies while on vacation. If you want a kind, trustworthy and reliable sitter, look no further!

Carmen is phenomenal! She is communicative, timely, and thoughtful during her visits. One of my kitties is very shy and hides whenever new people arrive. She was patient and sat with her until she came out for some love. Another one of the cats needed medicine for anxiety and she was able to give him his meds without any issue. Our dog loves her as well and is always so excited to see her. I’m so glad we found Carmen!

Christa was phenomenal! The care she gave my Napoleon and Edie was perfect and they loved her! Although I missed them terribly they didn’t miss me…they were happy to snuggle & play with Christa! I will definitely ask Christa to cat sit for me whenever I am out of town! Thanks Christa, we love you!!!😻😻

As always, Kara is the BEST. Our Oli was having some tummy problems when we left and Kara kept an extra close eye on her the whole trip. In fact, for the first time ever, Oli wasn’t even that excited when we got home, as she had such a great time with Kara!! Highly recommend Kara and she is our go to sitter.

We’d like to thank Cole for his amazing help! We were in a difficult situation when our dog sitter disappeared on the very day we left for vacation. I was so nervous my vacation could be ruined. We suddenly had to look for someone new while already away, fully expecting it to be a complete stranger. But thank God, Cole turned out to be an incredible person who immediately stepped in and took great care of our pets. We are beyond grateful! A million thanks!!! Highly recommended - 100%! 🐾

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Concord. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
