“Colleen was amazing! Very friendly with our girls and great communication with us while we were out of town. Above and beyond even cleaning up after them in the yard!! Thank you!!”

“Linda was an excellent cat sitter! She took care of our cat for 8 days and was always consistent and prompt with her drop in updates and photos. We were hesitant to leave our cat for so long but she made us feel comfortable and that our girl was taken care of. Would definitely recommend her and look forward to working with her again.”
“Jordana connected with my kitty right away and took great care of her. She is very dependable, takes great pictures to share with me and handles the feeding, playing and litter box with love. Highly recommend her for your pet care!”

“Stellar service and care. We were in a bind and need a sitter in less than 24hrs. They went above and beyond to make sure Mojo was comfortable and that we were aware of all of her updates :)”

“This was our first time booking drop in visits with Marissa and she was amazing! We have very finicky cats and she didn't even blink when I told her about their specific requirements.”

About: I've lived with and cared for dogs for my entire life; I love all animals, big, small, young, old and anywhere in between, the more animals the better! I have experience with dogs, cats, rats, hamsters, and fish and I get along with all of them. I am available for early mornings and late nights as well as weekends. I am also familiar with and unphased by the less glamorous sides of pet care, I don't mind cleaning up after puppy accidents, I have some experience grooming our shaggier four legged friends, and I know how to administer most puppy medications. I work from home so my availability is wide open for whatever you and your animals need. I am an extremely active person so there is no limit to much I will love and play with your pup, but I will also be patient and sensitive to nervous dog and cats. There is no puppy personality that I don't love. I can't wait to meet your dog! I work remote Monday - Wednesday. I also have weekends and evenings available for more involved activities. When im not pet sitting i like to take my own dog for hiking/ camping adventures! A typical day starts with breakfast and a nice romp around the yard, or brisque walk around the neighborhood so your dog can go potty and get out some morning energy. I have a flexible schedule at work so i can take frequent breaks to play and attend to your critters needs. In the evenings, im free again and i like to spend time being active, whether its a long walk, a game of fetch, or even an adventure to the park

About: I grew up with cats and a dogs, I now have a 2 year old cat. I love going on walks with dogs. I take care of my in-laws’ dogs and friend’s pets when they go out of town. I have a full time job from Monday to Friday but I have I some flexibility in the mornings and afternoons and can also adapt for different times if known in advance. I am free in the evenings and weekends as well.☺️ I can take care of multiple pets at a time in their owner’s house. “Olivia is professional yet very affectionate and loving towards my pets. Communicated very well and with each visit. My pets were well taken care of and I feel extremely comfortable having Olivia in my home and secure in knowing they are cared for by such a responsible sitter.”

“Thank you for taking such great care of Lady! We could tell by the pictures provided that she had a great time playing in the backyard and she looks forward to hanging out with you again soon!”

“Cassandra was willing to care for my cats on extremely short notice and we did not even get to do a meet and greet in advance. Nevertheless, she was immediately able to bond with my cats and asked insightful questions and was very careful to be sure they were getting the right amounts of food and supplements. From the expression on my cats faces in the photos she sent, I can tell that the cats absolutely love her. I can recommend her highly and hope she will be willing to help us again. I think she is a cat whisperer!”

“Christa was wonderful! She takes pet care very seriously and constantly kept us updated on how our cat was doing while we were out of town with pictures and check-ins about his behavior. 10/10 will hire again. ?”

“Stephanie was my first pet sitter with Rover, and I was really apprehensive about leaving my cat for 2 weeks. Stephanie not only went above and beyond to reassure me, but she was flexible with the booking and checking on my house while I was away. She provided detailed updates with plenty of pictures, followed all instructions, and exceeded expectations. My normally skittish cat took to Stephanie immediately, which I know had to do with Stephanie, because she didn’t come out for anyone else that stopped by the house. I had a wonderful experience, and would definitely request Stephanie for any future pet sitting needs.”

“Jordan is always so reliable! I appreciate her being available at the last minute too! Tucker Lee thinks Jordan is super sweet and loves his walks with her. She is just the best puppy care for your love!”

“She came to do a meetup and the boys liked her. Communication and the whole process was smooth. Never had someone do a drop in visit in my home before since we moved out to Delaware. I would hire her again and recommend her to others!”

“Mary took wonderful care of my Boston Terrier, Archie, for an extended period, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the level of care she provided. She arrived on time each day and shared plenty of updates and photos, which gave me great peace of mind. I highly recommend Mary and would absolutely use her again.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Edgemoor
Marissa went above and beyond while taking care of our pets while we were out of town. It snowed A LOT and Marissa took the time to care for our home- she shoveled our front path and put down salt, and she was even so thoughtful that she put up the windshield wipers on our cars. We were dreading the conditions when we came home, but she was like a fairy godmother who made everything better!

We’d like to thank Cole for his amazing help! We were in a difficult situation when our dog sitter disappeared on the very day we left for vacation. I was so nervous my vacation could be ruined. We suddenly had to look for someone new while already away, fully expecting it to be a complete stranger. But thank God, Cole turned out to be an incredible person who immediately stepped in and took great care of our pets. We are beyond grateful! A million thanks!!! Highly recommended - 100%! 🐾

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Edgemoor. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
