About: I've lived with and cared for dogs for my entire life; I love all animals, big, small, young, old and anywhere in between, the more animals the better! I have experience with dogs, cats, rats, hamsters, and fish and I get along with all of them. I am available for early mornings and late nights as well as weekends. I am also familiar with and unphased by the less glamorous sides of pet care, I don't mind cleaning up after puppy accidents, I have some experience grooming our shaggier four legged friends, and I know how to administer most puppy medications. I work from home so my availability is wide open for whatever you and your animals need. I am an extremely active person so there is no limit to much I will love and play with your pup, but I will also be patient and sensitive to nervous dog and cats. There is no puppy personality that I don't love. I can't wait to meet your dog! I work remote most days. I also have weekends and evenings available for more involved activities. When im not pet sitting i like to take my own dog for hiking/ camping adventures! A typical day starts with breakfast and a nice romp around the yard, or brisque walk around the neighborhood so your dog can go potty and get out some morning energy. I have a flexible schedule at work so i can take frequent breaks to play and attend to your critters needs. In the evenings, im free again and i like to spend time being active, whether its a long walk, a game of fetch, or even an adventure to the park

About: I grew up with dogs from a young age and fell in love with taking care of them. As I got older and went to school, I was always happy to help friends and neighbors to look after their pets as well. Now, I’m happy to say that I’ve been a dog walker and pet mom for three years! I currently work full-time, but my schedule is variable and I’m more than happy to work pet care into my schedule. Whether it’s a walk or drop-in, I can usually find time to help! In your home, your pets know what’s best and most comfortable. I do my best to work with them and adjust to their needs accordingly based on what’s available and familiar to them in your space.

She even stopped by for an extra visit because we had a flight delay. Our one dog is a big, excitable Rhodesian Ridgeback but she had no problem handling him. About: I have been looking into doing petsitting for some time now and I know that from prior experience with pets and volunteer work, I am able to provide your pets’ needs in any way possible. I’m currently doing a art class until the 20th and is volunteering at the cat cafe from time to time so my availability may vary. I would clean up litters from my cats’ litter boxes and give food to them. I have been a volunteer at a cat cafe that a friend of mine was a part of for a while now. We would clean the cats’ litter boxes, food bowls, make sure that the cats are fed, and straighten up the cafe along with organizing the cats’ toys so it’s easy for the cats to navigate.

About: I’ve had a dog since I was 7 years old who recently passed away. I live with my parents who are also fellow animal lovers and love when I pet-sit for friends. It brings life and fun to our household to host your furry friends. I currently work part time waitressing a few nights a week nearby. I am off weekends so I have all that time carved out to take care of pets! I have an unfenced, medium sized open field directly across from my condominium building I can take your pet for potty breaks and play time. I can keep them leashed for their safety. My parents, who I live with, are fellow animal lovers who love spending time with animals. I have a lazy cat who spends most of the day sleeping, but he lives upstairs in our split unit with my parents. My unit is entirely separate from where he resides, so if your pet doesn’t like cats, it’s no problem!

As always, Kara is the BEST. Our Oli was having some tummy problems when we left and Kara kept an extra close eye on her the whole trip. In fact, for the first time ever, Oli wasn’t even that excited when we got home, as she had such a great time with Kara!! Highly recommend Kara and she is our go to sitter.

Marissa went above and beyond while taking care of our pets while we were out of town. It snowed A LOT and Marissa took the time to care for our home- she shoveled our front path and put down salt, and she was even so thoughtful that she put up the windshield wipers on our cars. We were dreading the conditions when we came home, but she was like a fairy godmother who made everything better!
We’d like to thank Cole for his amazing help! We were in a difficult situation when our dog sitter disappeared on the very day we left for vacation. I was so nervous my vacation could be ruined. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
