About: I have well over thirty years of experience working with my own pets as well as clients pets and homes all over the country. I am comfortable working with any cats, dogs, fish, horses or any other farm animal. With my many years house and pet sitting my clients have felt safe and comfortable leaving the care of their pets & homes in my capable hands. I am very clean, organized and professional with excellent references. Throughout the years I have worked with many different sizes, shapes and breeds so no fear having something small and spirited or large and in charge they all deserve the same care! About: I’ve been in the animal care field for around 4 years now. I was a vet assistant/kennel attendant for almost 2 years and now I’m a grooming trainee! Working with animals is something I'm grateful for! I’m currently working part time to become a groomer 3 days a week so I’m pretty available! I potentially have 3 days open just for walking! About: I’ve been around dogs since I was a kid! From teacup poodles to golden retrievers, I’ve taken care of dogs in all shapes and sizes. I don’t have a dog of my own at the moment, so I definitely need an outlet for my dog fever! I’ve got a big yard to let your canines have some quality rolling in the grass time as well! I’m working a full time job but able to work around it if needed for any days usually! Mondays and Thursdays I’m fully available as well. My house does have a cat so unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to board your pup but I can definitely take them for runs around my big yard! Your pet is everything to you, just as mine is to me. About: I've had dogs since I was little! I have a soft spot for special needs and senior dogs, and a calming and patient demeanor which could be helpful for nervous pups. I'm experienced with all aspects of pet care from feeding, walking, playing, grooming, and calming dogs down. If your dog has special needs, let me know so I can accommodate. I've owned a diabetic dog for 16 years and know how to give insulin shots. Please be clear with instructions so I can better assist you! I do best with mellow dogs who don't need training, but I love all animal personalities. I can work with highly anxious or stressed animals, including senior dogs with dementia. I want to help them feel calm and safe! I offer drop-ins, walking, and house-sitting! I do remote work so I can stay with your dogs most of the day, including overnight stays if they need more care. I also offer complimentary light grooming (like brushing and trimming) for pets during house-sitting stays if needed. I'm open to regular clients and one-time clients. I offer services anytime after 12pm every other day, a few times a week (days are flexible). I may cluster multiple clients in one day, while keeping each session separate (I don't mix different clients' dogs for walking!). I'm a detail-oriented person, attuned to body language and communication from animals, so I can infer what your pet might need. I want to respect each dog (and cat's) individual personality and boundaries. I will pay special attention and care to elderly, special needs, or nervous pets and will do my upmost to ensure their safety and comfort. “Lydia really came through for us!! We were in such a mess when our sitter canceled on us last minute. My wife and I have 2 dogs and 1 cat. One of the dogs is a senior and the other is young while the cat is a little playfully aggressive to the pups sometimes. We can hardly leave them alone anymore but hate keeping them locked up in crates while away. Contacted Lydia through a friend’s recommendation and she very accommodating and understood our situation. She mentioned she has a cat now but had dogs before too and I knew we were in good hands. The senior pup can take some patience to get him to take his meds and Lydia sent us updates of him throughout the day and especially when she gave the meds to give us peace of mind. The little pup needs something to get his energy out so she had the senior laying outside in our yard while she played with our puppy! And finally with our cat, she used some of her favorite toys to keep her occupied and happy while she was busy with the pups. Couldn’t recommend a better sitter.”
