We told her the cats were uncomfortable with new people and not to be surprised if they didn’t come out much, but from her very first visit, she sent us tons of pictures of them all swarming around her for pets. I was shocked how quickly they accepted her and welcomed her into the house. Communication was excellent at each visit and she went above and beyond not just to do what we asked but to actually take the time to love on each of the cats and even play with them with some of their favorite cat toys and give them treats. I have previously worked at a boarding facility caring for animals and a vet! Schedule: As of right now, I have a flexible schedule allowing me to care for your pup whenever you may need me to do so! I have a fenced in yard to make sure your baby won’t run away. And many beds and crates for your dog to lay in/on if they’d like. I do offer house sitting however I won’t be able to stay 24/7 or nights as I have my own dogs to care for unless they are allowed to come too. But I will come check in on them 3-4 times for about 30ish minutes each time everyday for potty breaks and to feed/water them.

About: Dogs have been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember, and my experience extends beyond Rover through years of caring for family and friends pets. I have experience with puppies, seniors, dogs with medical needs and a variety of breeds and temperaments. I have two dogs of my own who are complete opposites, one is a high energy working breed and the other is happiest relaxing on the couch. Caring for both has taught me that every dog has different needs and deserves an individualized approach. High energy dogs are absolutely welcome here and will have plenty of opportunities for both physical exercise and mental stimulation throughout their stay. Pet care is already built into my daily routine. I work from home from 8-4, which allows me to be available all throughout the day and provide frequent potty breaks, supervision, exercise, and attention as needed. I believe it’s far more important to adapt to a dog’s lifestyle rather than to force them to adapt to mine. If your dog has a specific routine, I am happy to maintain it during their stay. Safety is my highest priority when caring for each dog. I introduce dogs carefully if they have not already met, I monitor their interactions closely, and never leave dogs together unsupervised. If for some reason dogs are not a good match, I am comfortable keeping them separated and rotating them as needed so everyone gets the exercise, individual attention, and comfort they need. All dogs are fed separately in different rooms, and I intentionally limit the number of dogs I accept at one time so I can provide appropriate supervision. My home has a fenced in yard, baby gates, crates, and multiple areas where dogs can safely relax or decompress. I am also comfortable administering medications and following detailed care instructions.

My dogs typically get on very well with other dogs. I dog sit 2 dogs in my home a few times a year for a few days to a week at a time. 1 medium and 1 large. I have fostered various dogs for Big Fluffy Dog Rescue in the past and I have helped and run adoption events at Petco for about a year for Simpson County Animal Shelter/Friends of the Shelter in Franklin KY. I am a stay at home dog mom. I can pet sit any time of the day or week, for just a few hours, a day or overnights. I only leave the house to go to the store or run a few errands. Typically not out for extended periods. If I am dog sitting, I prefer to be at home as often as possible. I am always around my dogs. I have dog beds in all areas of the house. I keep an eye on them when they go outside. I play with them regularly. When I get a new foster dog, I usually will keep them leashed for a little while until they get acclimated and used to the other dogs. Puppies are able to roam the entire backyard.

About: I looked after and cared for my family’s two dogs as a teen and am 1 year into being a work from home dog dad for our English Golden, Archie. I can walk, feed, play and otherwise entertain your pets as I do my own. I work from home doing an 8am-4pm office job fully remote. I have many breaks throughout the day as the job is on call/as needed. I use this spare time to enrich our puppies life with exercise, playtime, and training. Weekends are usually free unless I am out of town. I have a fenced in back yard for easy outside time and a small neighborhood for walks.
