I have experience giving dogs oral medications and giving cats both oral medications and injections (insulin). I work a hybrid schedule so my days are super flexible! I can be flexible with timing as long as I have sufficient notice. I am happy to accommodate your needs to the best of my ability. I have a relatively flexible daily schedule, especially in the summer to help care for your pets. I can take them for walks while you work or check in on them throughout your vacation. I have a 65 lb dog of my own who I take for walks, play with in the yard and spend lots of time snuggling. I am happy to take your pet on a walk in your neighborhood or play with them in your back yard. I can feed and water them and ensure they go outside. I am comfortable giving oral and injectable medication to dogs. Injectable medication for cats. I have experience with guinea pigs as well. I am comfortable handling them, conscious of their dietary needs and restrictions. I am not afraid of large animals and happy to walk them.

About: Dogs have been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember, and my experience extends beyond Rover through years of caring for family and friends pets. I have experience with puppies, seniors, dogs with medical needs and a variety of breeds and temperaments. I have two dogs of my own who are complete opposites, one is a high energy working breed and the other is happiest relaxing on the couch. Caring for both has taught me that every dog has different needs and deserves an individualized approach. High energy dogs are absolutely welcome here and will have plenty of opportunities for both physical exercise and mental stimulation throughout their stay. Pet care is already built into my daily routine. I work from home from 8-4, which allows me to be available all throughout the day and provide frequent potty breaks, supervision, exercise, and attention as needed. I believe it’s far more important to adapt to a dog’s lifestyle rather than to force them to adapt to mine. If your dog has a specific routine, I am happy to maintain it during their stay. Safety is my highest priority when caring for each dog. I introduce dogs carefully if they have not already met, I monitor their interactions closely, and never leave dogs together unsupervised. If for some reason dogs are not a good match, I am comfortable keeping them separated and rotating them as needed so everyone gets the exercise, individual attention, and comfort they need. All dogs are fed separately in different rooms, and I intentionally limit the number of dogs I accept at one time so I can provide appropriate supervision. My home has a fenced in yard, baby gates, crates, and multiple areas where dogs can safely relax or decompress. I am also comfortable administering medications and following detailed care instructions.
