Deb took great care of Chevy! She made sure he got the attention and exercise he needed to have a fantastic and happy stay while I was out of town. The photo updates showed just how much fun he was having!

Laura was such an amazing host with watching my dog Aspen for a few days while I was out of town. It’s hard to find a sitter but Laura didn’t hesitate to take my dog in, I got tons of videos/pictures of my dog and updates as well! Such a wonderful experience and I’ll be sure to book with her again!

We had a great experience leaving our Aussidoodle, Willie, with Cynthia and her sweet lab, Luna. I received numerous pictures and was happy to know Willie had a very large, fenced in yard for roaming and exercise. Cynthia treated Willie like her own and gave positive feedback about his stay. I won't hesitate to request Cynthia for future boarding.

If you’re looking for a dog sitter who goes above and beyond, Keri is it. She watched my pup recently and absolutely knocked it out of the park. When my flight got canceled last minute, Keri didn’t even blink—she just handled it. She made an extra trip to get food for my dog without me even asking, and stayed in close contact the entire time. I got photos and videos almost every day (sometimes multiple times), and I never once had to wonder how things were going. No other sitter I’ve used has ever been this proactive, thoughtful, and communicative. Keri is the kind of sitter you hope you’ll find but rarely do. She’s a total gem.

About: Hi, thank you so much for stopping by to read through my profile. I have loved and taken care of friend’s and family’s dogs for years. Big, small, medium, even tempered, wild, mellow- I absolutely love them all. I have a 12 year old lab, who has slowed down a lot. She is my everything. I find something about raising a dog from a young pup to an aging one, so very special and rewarding. If your dog is fast paced or likes to smell every blade of grass, I’m game. Rain, shine, or snow, I’m available. I’d absolutely appreciate it if you gave me the opportunity to spoil your dog, not just walk or watch. I understand these are your babies. My house is set up well with a fenced in back yard and lots of attention and love offered. Let me know what questions or concerns you might have! I work Monday-Friday, I am usually free in the evenings and off on Thursdays typically. I’m free on most holidays(so keep that in mind).** I am free on most weekends. ** My job is flexible, 12 mins away, making it easy to drop by my house throughout the day. My house is open and I have a great fenced in area. Your dog will be spoiled rotten over here. Lots of pets and attention. I also know how important a walk is to a dog, it’s the highlight of their day! We’d make the most of it.

About: I can do it all from big breeds, to small breeds; from happy breeds, to sad breeds. I’ve also got experience in tending to aggressive animals or animals who react out of fear so don’t worry! Growing up, I had an aggressive pup who people refused to come around and it made things hard on me, I want to give ALL pet parents a chance to feel safe knowing their aggressive or reactive dog is in good hands. I know the do’s and the don’t’s! Animals are a passion and if I could have every animal in the world, I would! Give me a shot to take care of your baby and you won’t regret it! I’m an active duty military member, but I work in a 24hr shop so my schedule shifts a lot. However, that is no issue for me as long as I have a heads up from my clients! I will work with them to create a schedule that best suits both me and the animals! Your animal is now a priority of mine(: I have a 6” vinyl privacy fence with a very large backyard. I have 3 dogs of my own and can accommodate some animals in my home. However, I will need to have your animals formally meet mine before making that decision so that we don’t put anyone in harms way. I will also request an updated shot record for any animals entering my home and will provide you with the same(:

About: My wife and I were lucky to have our dog, Rocco, for 20 wonderful years. After losing him last year, we miss having a dog in our home and are excited to give your pet the same love, attention, and care. We welcome dogs of all ages and have extensive experience caring for senior pets, including those who need a little extra patience and support. We know it can be stressful leaving your dog with someone new, so we prioritize communication and peace of mind. You can expect regular updates, photos, and reassurance that your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Your dog will be treated like family while they’re with us. What To Expect: We only take one dog (or family’s dogs) at a time We live in a quiet mostly retired neighborhood. We will ask and follow your dog’s routine closely Medication administration experience Pet care fits very naturally into our daily routine. I work from home most days, so your dog will have consistent supervision and companionship throughout the day. My wife and I plan our schedules to ensure your pet’s needs come first, including regular walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of attention. Because of this, dogs are rarely left alone for extended periods. We also have a quiet, adult-only home in a mostly retired neighborhood, which creates a calm, low-stress environment, especially helpful for senior dogs or those who prefer a more relaxed setting. We enjoy having a dog as part of our day-to-day life, whether that is relaxing at home or getting outside for walks. Our goal is to make your dog’s stay feel as close to their normal routine as possible. We provide care in our home as if your dog were part of our family. Dogs are welcome in our main living spaces and will receive plenty of attention, affection, and supervision throughout the day. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have cared for pups from their playful puppy stages all the way through their senior years. Because of that, I’m comfortable with all ages, personalities, and energy levels. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every dog like my own. Whether your pet needs extra playtime, a calming presence, or gentle senior support, I’ve got them covered. I work night shift, which means my days are completely free for pet care. I have plenty of time for walks, playtime, dropins, and giving your pet lots of attention. In my home, I make sure pets feel comfortable and safe right away. I keep their routine consistent, give lots of attention, playtime, and regular potty breaks to keep them relaxed and happy.

About: I've watched pets for friends and family since I was a teenager. I am comfortable with all breeds of dogs and cats and will love them like they are my own. I can't wait to meet you and your fur baby. I am currently a stay at home spouse and looking for ways to make extra income doing something I love. I am extremely flexible with my schedule and will make the time to make things work. I have a cat that seems to get along with other animals, but haven't put it to the test too much. I have walked and pet sat for several clients with bigger dogs and that have special needs and am comfortable with them all. I do always try and do a meet and greet before our first visit so your pet can get to know me before they are left alone with me.

About: I’ve worked in Animal Welfare for three years now, and currently work at the belleville area humane society. I see myself continuing down this path and would like to broaden my horizons. I’m looking into starting training as well in the future. I work with dogs and cats daily. I have nights off and don’t usually have other activities that occupy my nights. My off days are usually completely free. I live in a house currently and let my dogs out leashed. I don’t do any unsupervised activities. When I have other pets in my home/care I stay alert.

Abe has a heart of gold! From the moment my dogs arrived, he received them as if they were his own. Abe was very affectionate with my babies and they absolutely loved him! My little dog is hard to please and warmed up to Abe as if she knew him her entire life. I received multiple updates throughout the day while I was away and Abe responded to any questions/comments almost immediately. Will be booking with Abe again.

We have been using Amber exclusively for the past 8 months and couldn’t be happier. She is incredibly reliable, extremely flexible, and genuinely caring. Our dog Theo has severe separation anxiety, and she has been amazing with him—he absolutely loves her. He starts getting excited blocks before we even reach her house, which says everything. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing he’s happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Highly recommend!

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Pet Boarding easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Pet Boarding. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 981 sitters on Rover for Pet Boarding in Collinsville. About 93% of Collinsville sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in IL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
