“Cooper had another wonderful stay with Kelly and her family. He is always excited to see them and makes himself right at home. I love getting the pics and never have any worries when we leave him with Kelly. Thanks for all you do!”

“Nicole was very accommodating. She made us feel very comfortable with our dog staying with her. She was readily available when we contacted her before the weekend stay and during.”

“Jamie and Aaron were amazing!! Max had the best time and I think he was sad to leave. They provided pictures and video while he was there. Will definitely use them in future!!”

About: I have had a dog for 8 years and am considering adopting a sibling. This will be a great way to not only find some wonderful new doggy friends and families but to also acclimate my dog to having another dog in the house. I have a large fenced in yard and am home on weekends so my dog and I would welcome some company! I work full time during the week and am in the office 3 days so I work from home on Fridays and have weekends free! I have a fenced in yard and friendly dog who would love some company. I do also have a crate so can crate your pup as well or they can sleep in a bed, on the couch, wherever they are comfortable!
“First time using Rover, and it was a great experience! Shannon is quick to respond and easy to work with. She gave updates and I could tell my pup had fun! Very convenient service. Will use again!”

“I have an older dog that I have never left alone with someone for multiple days so needless to say, I was nervous about going out of town for a few days. However, Christina was amazing. From pictures and videos each day to being understanding when my flight back into town was delayed for six hours, I truly can’t brag enough about my experience with her and would recommend her to anyone who needs their dog watched and taken care of.”

“We can’t say enough good things about Ashley’s care and attention and role the whole family plays in taking care of our Baxter. We got photos frequently and assuring messages while we were away. I’m not surf Baxter was ready to come home. Ten out of five stars!”

“This is our second stay with Matt. Just like the first it was great. Our furbaby was in great hands. Awesome communication with pictures. Our dog was so happy the whole stay. 10 out of 10 recommend!”

“Abe is amazing, he took my pup last minute and as soon as we met, I felt extremely comfortable leaving my dog with him. I appreciated him so much and knew my dog was in good hands. I’ll definitely be going to him first thing if my dog needs boarding! Thank you so much Abe! You are the best!”

“Starr and family were great to My Chi Chi, she sent pics and updated me on how she was doing every day. I am so thankful to have found her last minute. And will continue to use her when I need a sitter.”

“Amy took amazing care of my little Roxie for her stay, even taking her to the vet when she was ill. Roxie loved her cuddles and kindness, I really got lucky with this one. Thank you Amy, for everything.”

“Stephanie took care of our sassy little maltese like her own! She gave alot of updates and sent pictures/videos. It's our first time booking through rover and we will definitely book her again for our next trip. Thanks, Stephanie!”

“This was my first time needing a sitter and I was pretty nervous about it. I've never had to leave my sweet boy anywhere other than the vet for a day. Carol was very accommodating. She allowed me to see where he would be, answered any questions I had and sent pictures to me to assure me he was ok. I was grateful for that. That helped ease my mind. I would definitely use her again if it should become necessary again. She's awesome!!”

“Bianca was a wonderful host on a short notice trip. She took great care of my 5 month old goldendoodle and gave me updates throughout the visit. Her dogs also got along well with mine and I think they became good buddies. Thanks, Bianca!”

“Deb was amazing! She took great care of Mia and was very attentive to all her needs. Not a worry in the world leaving her under Deb’s care. We also very much so enjoyed the many pictures / videos of Mia!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Collinsville
This was my first time using Rover. I was a little nervous, but Nicole was very kind, responded very quickly. Gave me updates with a video! It was a last-minute booking for Fourth of July, and she was very accommodating to me and my dog, which I really appreciated the ladder. Highly recommend!! 😊

Abe has a heart of gold! From the moment my dogs arrived, he received them as if they were his own. Abe was very affectionate with my babies and they absolutely loved him! My little dog is hard to please and warmed up to Abe as if she knew him her entire life. I received multiple updates throughout the day while I was away and Abe responded to any questions/comments almost immediately. Will be booking with Abe again.

We have been using Amber exclusively for the past 8 months and couldn’t be happier. She is incredibly reliable, extremely flexible, and genuinely caring. Our dog Theo has severe separation anxiety, and she has been amazing with him—he absolutely loves her. He starts getting excited blocks before we even reach her house, which says everything. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing he’s happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Highly recommend!

Pierre was great. Brandy liked him immediately. He was very nice and professional when he picked her up. He sent videos and kept me informed daily for the two nights she was with him. I will definitely rebook and will try the doggie day care as well. Thank you Pierre so much.

Many sitters in IL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
