About: With over 3 years of experience living with dogs and cats, I treat every pet like family. I offer a calm, trustworthy presence that keeps tails wagging. I’m currently working remotely, so caring for my maltese typically has been a breeze! I maintain a feeding, grooming, exercise, and mental enrichment routine with my dog. I feed my dog 2x a day and walk her for 30 minutes in the evening. Since she’s crate trained, she enjoys lounging around her bed while I work.

About: I have grown up in a household with dogs, mainly the medium to large sized breeds. I have experience with all sizes of dogs though, as I have taken care of a variety of sized dogs for friends, family, and neighbors. I have taken care of cats and dogs when needing medical care - especially giving meds and minor wound care - and also have groomed and walked many types and sizes of dogs. I love making sure the pets are healthy and happy. I have volunteered at an animal shelter to help with the care of animals - providing play time, meds, and grooming of both dogs and cats. I'm currently a full time student at SIUE and I'm in the MFA art studio program. For summer, I have fully online classes. The fall I have 3 in person classes with a mixed schedule. Mondays and Wednesdays are limited as I have a 3 hour morning class and 3 hour evening class, both being studio classes with some cleanup. Please note this as a potential issue due to the limited time for drop ins, walks, and check ins on a house sitting. Tuesdays and Thursdays are better as they just have one class. I will work with you ahead of time if there are any plans I have that will keep me away for longer than 4 hours at a time. During house sitting, I can provide food, medicine, play time, walks, and many other services. I also am willing to assist with house related things - bringing in mail, taking trash out for trash pickup, etc - just let me know and we can work it out. For walks and drop ins, my availability is generally flexible and will work with you to determine the best time(s) to be there. I can also provide some house related services (like bring in mail and packages) upon request. Please note I do have in person classes at SIUE Monday through Thursday. I am available to help with the pets at the clients home. I can either stay at your place or go home at night, which I can work with you based on your needs and comfort. I have experience with gated and non gated yards (so needing to leash the dog when taking out for the potty), gates for inside the house, and crate training. Often I will have my own leash with me so that if anything happens, I'm prepared. As for walks, I often work with the dog(s) to see what triggers them and avoid as much as possible. I know not all dogs are friendly with other dogs or people so I am aware of my surroundings and provide appropriate distance and avoid people and dogs as best as I can.

“Amazing experience. Gabby was a very easy going and cared well for our dogs. She is a professional and I highly recommend her. About: I've taken care of every kind of dog since I was the age of 11. The type of dog breeds I have taken care of are golden retrievers, mixed breed dogs, chihuahuas and pomeranians. Neighbors and family members have trusted me to walk, feed, play, administer medicine and take their dogs to the vet. I have trained puppies and taken care of senior dogs. The first puppy that I trained was my mixed breed dog who we got at the age of six weeks old. I am currently training my 7 month old mixed breed puppy basic commands. The senior dog that I have recently cared for was a chihuahua who had a grain allergy. I am using Rover as my full time job. The service that I offer at the moment is dog walking. I am usually home alot but may need to leave for doctor appointments or to run errands. Owners can expect me to be away for short periods of time, but you can check always check my calendar for availabilities. I have a puppy of my own that I take care of daily. I feed, walk, play, bathe and take care of my puppy's overall health, well-being and safety as part of our daily and weekly routine. I feed my puppy twice a day along with rewarding her with treats throughout the day. I take her on walks either once or twice a day around our neighborhood or at a park. I play with her outside in our backyard or take her to the park. I love on her and provide a safe and comfortable environment for her. I always schedule regular veterinary checkups and nail grinding appointments for her. Once a week I give my puppy a dental treat to ensure that her teeth, gums and breathe are taken care of.

About: Hi there! My name’s Jordan, and animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I currently share my home (and couch!) with 2 energetic dogs and 3 hilarious, personality filled cats. They’re not just pets to me, they’re family. Growing up with animals taught me the importance of patience, playtime, and knowing when a belly rub or a quiet cuddle is exactly what they need. Whether your pet is high-energy and loves fetch or a shy cuddle bug who just wants some company, I take the time to understand their unique personality and needs. I know how nerve wracking it can be to leave your pets in someone else’s care, so I do everything I can to make the experience stress free for both you and them. I treat every animal I care for like one of my own, because I know how much love they bring into our lives. Let’s make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and happy while you’re away! I'm fortunate enough to work from home so i'm always available and easy to contact. I will be 110% devoted to your animals and I will make my schedule fit around your needs. I do not offer boarding because i'm currently living on the Warren Airforce Base BUT, I can assure you that your home, dogs, and belongings will be protected and taken care of.

My partner, Cameron, and I will work together to create a loving atmosphere for your pup. I’m currently working part-time night shifts, while Cameron is a student so we will have plenty of time to hang out with your furry family members! We will learn more about your pup’s safe space and their favorite walking paths before the date so that we can provide the best care.

About: I've been taking care of dogs my entire life. My father bred labradors, and I've been sitting for my grandparents for the last 15 or so years. I recently started sitting for a friend and have decided to make it a steady source of income I'm an artist that wants to use dog sitting and walking to have a steady flexible income that allows me to be creative in my personal life. Our pitbull Stella gets the best that we can provide her. As a genuine dog lover, I will provide the best care that is in my ability to provide in your home.

About: I spent 2 years working in a dog daycare and boarding facility which also included grooming and training dogs. In the process I did professional personal training to be licensed. I have worked with all dogs from puppy to senior and everything in between. I work from home so I am available 24 hours a day, every day of the week so your dog will never be left alone and has constant access for potty breaks. During long term boarding periods my husband will run errands such as getting groceries so I won’t ever have a need to leave the pups for any reason when staying with me long term. We have a water fountain with a filter and only use purified water so the animals always have access to clean water. We feed the animals on whatever schedule they need (example, my personal dog gets fed 3 times a day during breakfast, lunch, and dinner). I take the dogs out every 2 hours and also have a potty bell for dogs who are trained to hit a bell when they need to go outside. We have a yard but it is not fenced so I put the dogs in a collar/harness with a leash and take them outside in the yard and on a short walk. I also take them on long walks first thing in the morning before breakfast and at night before dinner to avoid bloating.

I also babysit a few times these seasons as well but I’m very open with my schedule! I have a fenced in yard along with 3 dogs ranging from 12 years old to 4 years old. They love to run and play in the yard and get along with most dogs! If needed I can easily keep another dog here in a crate or cage.

“Ashley is great with my young Goldendoodle Herman! She takes him on the best walks in our neighborhood while my husband and I are at work. Ashley is great at communicating & accommodating my family’s dynamic schedule—and Herman is so much happier when I get home from work when he’s gotten attention from Ashley during the day!!”

About: My experience with animals started around the age of 10. I watched 7 dogs every summer for five years, the breeds range from a Chihuahua/pug mix to a Belgian Malinois! After that, I watched and trained an Aussie heeler puppy for two years. Next on my journey, I volunteered and worked at animal shelters. I worked with a professional trainer and learned a lot about diseases/prevention, grooming, and more! Of course, along the way Ive had fur babies of my own.🩵 I left my job because of an injury. Currently, I have open availability! When I get a new job, my schedule will change but I will do my best to work with you! Your fur babies being safe is my first priority! Whether you’re more lenient or strict with your pet, I will make sure all their needs are met.

“I will not leave my two dogs with anyone else when I travel outside the U.S. Trish is a responsible and loving dog sitter and walker. The best part is she actually walks the dogs as far/often as they need. I have received testimonials from the neighborhood when I return, because they have seen her in action and spoken with her on the street. If she house/dog sits you can be assured your home is also being well looked after.”
