About: I have grown up in a household with dogs, mainly the medium to large sized breeds. I have experience with all sizes of dogs though, as I have taken care of a variety of sized dogs for friends, family, and neighbors. I have taken care of cats and dogs when needing medical care - especially giving meds and minor wound care - and also have groomed and walked many types and sizes of dogs. I love making sure the pets are healthy and happy. I have volunteered at an animal shelter to help with the care of animals - providing play time, meds, and grooming of both dogs and cats. I'm currently a full time student at SIUE and I'm in the MFA art studio program. For Spring 2026 semester my schedule is Mon-Thu for 7-9 hours continuously for classes/GA positon. Fridays typically I'll be at campus for a few hours for creating work, in crits, or in meetings. Weekends I'm generally free. Please note these amount of times away for house sittings and let me know if this is of any concern. Drop-ins/walks midday Mon-Thurs tend to be difficult as I have little to no breaks, but can do before/after classes. I'll let you know if there is something happening during your requested time that will have me away from the house for longer than normal. During house sitting, I can provide food, medicine, play time, walks, and many other services. I also am willing to assist with house related things - bringing in mail, taking trash out for trash pickup, etc - just let me know and we can work it out. For walks and drop ins, my availability is generally flexible outside of classes/work and will work with you to determine the best time(s) to be there. I can also provide some house related services (like bring in mail and packages) upon request. Please note I do have in person classes and GA position at SIUE Monday through Friday, so availability is based upon schedule and distance from campus. I am available to help with the pets at the clients home. I can either stay at your place or go home at night, which I can work with you based on your needs and comfort. I have experience with gated and non gated yards (so needing to leash the dog when taking out for the potty), gates for inside the house, and crate training. Often I will have my own leash with me so that if anything happens, I'm prepared. As for walks, I often work with the dog(s) to see what triggers them and avoid as much as possible. I know not all dogs are friendly with other dogs or people so I am aware of my surroundings and provide appropriate distance and avoid people and dogs as best as I can.

Rachel great! We really appreciate her willingness to regularly walk two dogs, both of which need to learn a bit more leash etiquette. We highly recommend Rachel for your pet care needs!

About: I have taken care care of friends and family Pets for years and it’s with no doubt the best job. Time flies when I’m playing with them and they have the best cuddles Pet care isn’t just part of my routine—it’s something I genuinely look forward to every day. I’ve had a deep love for animals, especially dogs, for as long as I can remember. Spending time with them brings me peace, joy, and purpose. I treat every dog like family, making sure they feel loved, safe, and truly seen. Caring for pets isn’t a job to me—it’s my passion and something I pour my whole heart into. Whether in my home or a client’s, I care for pets with love, patience, and attention to their unique needs. I follow any routines or instructions closely—whether it’s feeding schedules, medications, or favorite toys. In a client’s home, I make sure their pet feels safe and comfortable in their own space, keeping things clean, calm, and familiar. If they’re with me, they get a cozy, stress-free environment with plenty of play, snuggles, and supervision. I treat every pet like my own—always with respect, care, and lots of love.

About: I had my first dog on my own when I was 20. I've had 2 in 18 years. Their names were Dude and Buddy. Buddy passed away a couple years ago, and I miss that bond with an animal. A friend told me about this app and I am in a perfect situation to house sit animals. I live in a 2 story home with a good sized fenced in yard in historic Glen Carbon. I work from home and have plenty of free time. This is new to me, but I am excited about the opportunity it holds. I work from home and have plenty of free time on my hands. I have 18 years of having pets on my own. They have included 2 dogs, 3 cats, one was bottle fed bc she was so young when we got her, and a couple turtles. I have a fenced in yard and can provide as much attention as your pet needs. I can adhere to any food schedule you have for your pet

About: Hi, thank you so much for stopping by to read through my profile. I’m stoked to start this journey. I have loved and taken care of friend’s and family’s dogs for years. Big, small, medium, even tempered, wild, mellow, I absolutely love them all. I have a 12 year old lab, who’s slowed down a lot. She is my everything. She just can’t move like she used to and I find something about raising a dog from a young pup to an aging one, so very special and rewarding. If your dog is fast paced or likes to smell every blade of grass, I’m game. Rain, shine, or snow, I’m available. I’d absolutely appreciate it if you gave me the opportunity to spoil your dog, not just walk. I understand these are your babies. My house is also open with a fenced in back yard and lots of attention and love offered. Let me know what questions or concerns you might have! I work Monday-Friday, I am usually free in the evenings and off on Thursdays typically. I’m free on most holidays(so keep that in mind).** I am free on most weekends. ** My job is flexible, 12 mins away, making it easy to drop by my house throughout the day. My house is open and I have a great fenced in area. Your dog will be spoiled rotten over here. Lots of pets and attention. I also know how important a walk is to a dog, it’s the highlight of their day! We’d make the most of it.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and a vegan, so caring for animals is truly close to my heart. I’ve been looking after pets since I was a child and have experience with all kinds of companions. Right now, I share my home with three dogs—60 lbs, 25 lbs, and 6 lbs—so I’m very comfortable managing different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Over the years, I’ve also cared for cats, birds, fish, gerbils, and even snakes. I work remotely, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to provide attentive, reliable care throughout the day. 🐾 I work remotely, which gives me a very flexible schedule to help to care for your pet. I’m available on weekdays and weekends with a little bit of notice! 🐾 I’m dependable and safety-focused, and I’ll care for your pet the same way I care for my own. I have three wonderful dogs and a fully fenced backyard, so safety is always top of mind in my home. About: I’ve been caring for my family’s dogs since I was young and currently have two small dogs of my own. Over the years, I’ve also looked after pets for friends, family members, and neighbors. Recently, I’ve expanded my experience to include caring for cats as well. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. I recently left my job to pursue nursing. I’m doing a one year accelerated program starting in January. I will mainly be at school on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I have two small dogs at home. I do not create them, but I do have experience with that! We do not have a fenced in yard so I take my dogs on a leash!

About: I've had pets around me since I was a baby. I had dogs growing up, and I've been around them ever since. I've been around 20 pound dogs, to 120 pound dogs, nothing is too much or too little for me. Currently I don't have a job, but I am just looking around at dog walking agin. I am supposed to go into the service in about a month, so im trying to make some extra money before I ship off! In my house, I have a fenced in yard, that keeps my pitbull safe, and happy. I would love to be in someone’s house where they have a fenced in yard, but I know that’s not ideal for everyone. If they don’t that’s perfectly fine, we just take the fur baby out in a leash to be outside then!

About: Growing up I was always the family member to call when anyone needed a pet sitter. From a young age I took over the responsibility of bathing, walking, and giving medication to our family dog. Since moving out of my family home I have adopted 4 cats of my own. I love all animals (reptiles kind of scare me but I can handle them if they are in their cages) and have been responsible for watching most animals. I am currently working full time. I normally get home Monday through Friday by 5:30 at the latest. Some days I am home earlier. I have weekends free and I can be pretty flexible. If I were needed on a weekday to pet sit I would be able to come after work and be there until I have to leave for work in the morning. I would not be able to watch any animals at my place since I am in a small apartment. However, I would be able to come stay at your place if needed to care for an animal. I watch my sisters dog anytime she goes out of town and have stayed multiple nights there caring for them. When the weather is nice I like to borrow their dogs to take on walks when I get off work. I have watched many dogs varying in energy levels and ages. I nannied for a family who had a senior dog. I had the responsibility of walking the dog and letting him out to potty, or cleaning up if there was an accident. While the kids had the responsibility of making sure the dog was fed and had water, I had to make sure they were taking care of their responsibilities. I have cats of my own who I adore so I know all the responsibilities that come with cats. Since adopting my first cat 5 years ago my love for animals has grown deeper.
