About: I was dog sitting without getting paid so I enjoy it, animals usually respond well to me, and I don’t mind spending my time with our furry friends I’m working part time at a grocery store and I’m off Tuesday and Thursday and needed a second job to save up, might as well a job I enjoy I’ll give them lots of pets, play with them, if your pet has a schedule for things I’ll do it on time, always being gentle with them

About: Hi, I’m Gabbi, and I have over 6 years of experience caring for other people’s pets! I am new to Rover, but I have multiple pet sitting references that I can provide from customers that have had me hired me for years! I’ve watched dogs of all sizes from Great Pyrenees to Chihuahuas. I’ve handled hundreds of cats so I am used to every personality. I have also cared for reptiles, amphibians, fish, farm animals, and rodents. I’ve watched dogs who need vigorous exercise, as well as the opposite. I’ve cared for puppies and kittens, seniors, and every age in between. I’ve watched a litter of kittens that were still nursing. I have experience with cats and dogs affected by cerebral palsy, deafness, blindness, and other special needs. I am experienced in administering multiple forms of medication. I also volunteer for an animal shelter, which gives me a lot of unique situations and experiences! I have a relatively flexible schedule. I work part time at a dog grooming salon. My shifts are typically 6 hours or less, and I only work up to 3 days a week. I do sometimes have other commitments that are unlikely to take more than 4 hours at a time. For people interested in boarding, I have a fenced yard and an 11/yo, 15 lb Shih Tzu who is very friendly. He is laid back and prefers dogs who are also laid back, but has never shown aggression with high energy dogs. I typically walk the dogs I watch at least once a day, but that can vary on the age and/or the activity level of the dog. I can also take them to a park, weather permitting! I always try to keep the pups experience as stress-free as possible, so I listen closely to everything you tell me about your pet. I try to stick to any routine that you guys share, whether that be feeding times, walking times, or anything else! I live in a quiet neighborhood where your dog will be safe with me.

About: I’ve had animals of my own since I was little. Growing up I would often pet sit for family. More recently, I’ve rescued two cats within the past 3 years. They’re my world! I’ve recently started pet sitting for my friend on occasion and wanted to find more pet sitting opportunities because I enjoy it so much! I work from home Monday-Friday 8-5 with a lunch break from 12-1. However, I work at my own pace so I am able to leave if needed. I also work a part time job on the weekends where the hours vary. I’ll always be available after 6pm. I pay close attention to detail specific to each pet since each pet has their own set of needs. I like getting to know their personalities and earning their trust. I understand that pets are an extension of the family and I respect them as such. I also understand the worry of leaving your pets at home and the separation anxiety that pet and owner can experience, so I always offer pictures of your pets so you don’t feel like you’re missing out on much!

I am a student at SIUE with classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. On these days I am available after 4:30pm. In-Home Pet Sitting is available daily, but your pets will need to be left alone for up to 7-8 hours on Mondays and Wednesdays. I will care for your pet and/or home as if it were my own. Your instructions will be followed meticulously to ensure your pet is getting the proper care that they need and deserve.

About: I work 8-4:30pm Monday through Friday, I can do before work and after work depending on the time and area pretty much always available on weekends feel free to reach out 😃. I have been around animals my whole life. As a child we had three American Bull dogs. I have taken care of animals for friends when they were out of town until they return home. I personally have a dog named Simba, he’s very loving and loves attention. We go on walks and play fetch, he gets spoiled with toys weekly. Pet care fits into my schedule because I can drop in before and after work. Weekends I’m free all through out the day so plenty of time for extra attention! I work from home three days out of the week Monday - Friday and go in twice a week. I follow all owner rules and like to send pictures and videos of their happy fur babies. I care for Simba by taking him potty regularly making sure he has plenty of food and water. We go for walks when the weather lets us.

About: I've had pets around me since I was a baby. I had dogs growing up, and I've been around them ever since. I've been around 20 pound dogs, to 120 pound dogs, nothing is too much or too little for me. Currently I don't have a job, but I am just looking around at dog walking agin. I am supposed to go into the service in about a month, so im trying to make some extra money before I ship off! In my house, I have a fenced in yard, that keeps my pitbull safe, and happy. I would love to be in someone’s house where they have a fenced in yard, but I know that’s not ideal for everyone. If they don’t that’s perfectly fine, we just take the fur baby out in a leash to be outside then!

About: I will do everything to make sure your furry friend is not stressed and loving life while you are gone as well. I have always been a big animal lover. I know boarding are very sketch and it's hard to find someone you trust with your family member which is why I promise to give me 100% while you are away I work from home for my full time job which means I can spend all day with your pet. I work a couple hours on the weekend but other than that my flexible is 100% any instructions you give me for your dog I will follow. I only want the best for the furry family :) I know leaving your pet can be stressful which is why I make sure to send you a ton of updates/pictures while you are away if wanted!

About: I was raised with dogs, as my dad was a breeder. I've cared for and loved them through every event from birth to death. I have 40 + years experience with my pets. Also, I have sat with and fostered many animals over the years. That experience does include dogs, cats, Birds, fish, hedgehogs, hamsters, skunks, and guinea pigs. Please allow me to make friends with your animal family. I'm a stay at home mom who has only one child left in school. My school days hold a lot of emptiness. I really love animals so I thought to help animal families. I would be available during school hours and on weekends. I will follow your instructions to the letter. About: I have grown up in a household with dogs, mainly the medium to large sized breeds. I have experience with all sizes of dogs though, as I have taken care of a variety of sized dogs for friends, family, and neighbors. I have taken care of cats and dogs when needing medical care - especially giving meds and minor wound care - and also have groomed and walked many types and sizes of dogs. I love making sure the pets are healthy and happy. I have volunteered at an animal shelter to help with the care of animals - providing play time, meds, and grooming of both dogs and cats. I'm currently a full time student at SIUE and I'm in the MFA art studio program. For Spring 2026 semester my schedule is Mon-Thu for 6 hours continuously for classes/GA positon. Fridays typically I'll be at campus for a few hours for creating work, in crits, or in meetings. Weekends I'm generally free. Please note these amount of times away for house sittings and let me know if this is of any concern. I'll let you know if there is something happening during your requested time that will have me away from the house for longer than normal. During house sitting, I can provide food, medicine, play time, walks, and many other services. I also am willing to assist with house related things - bringing in mail, taking trash out for trash pickup, etc - just let me know and we can work it out. For walks and drop ins, my availability is generally flexible outside of classes/work and will work with you to determine the best time(s) to be there. I can also provide some house related services (like bring in mail and packages) upon request. Please note I do have in person classes at SIUE Monday through Thursday, so availability is based upon schedule and distance from campus. I am available to help with the pets at the clients home. I can either stay at your place or go home at night, which I can work with you based on your needs and comfort. I have experience with gated and non gated yards (so needing to leash the dog when taking out for the potty), gates for inside the house, and crate training. Often I will have my own leash with me so that if anything happens, I'm prepared. As for walks, I often work with the dog(s) to see what triggers them and avoid as much as possible. I know not all dogs are friendly with other dogs or people so I am aware of my surroundings and provide appropriate distance and avoid people and dogs as best as I can.

About: I’ve always had a heart for little critters, both wild and domesticated. I love to get to know them and care for them and give them as good a life I can for whatever part I have in it. I take care of my cat every day and I care for my parents dog when they are busy or out of town. Also any friends pets who need sitting. I treat them with respect and care, I make sure they are content and comfortable as they can be and do what I can to keep them safe and happy.
