9. Ali B.
About: I have been taking care of and loving on pets for 10+ years. I have several fur babies of my own, so I certainly understand the importance of having someone take care of your pets who will love them just as much as you do! I have experience with caring for pets for most of my life, but most recently, I have been doing drop in visits to feed and take care of family pets, as well as some pet sitting for friends who are out of town. I am also familiar with dealing with anxious dogs as both of my boys have some pretty serious storm anxiety. I do currently work full time, however, I work from home, so I have plenty of flexibility to drop in and take your fur babies for walks, or just check in and spend some time providing snuggles throughout the day. I am free on weekends as well for house-sitting, overnight care, etc. I believe your pets should be taken care of exactly the way they would be if you were home! Whether that means sleeping in the bed, walks 3x a day, or a strict schedule, I will always follow your established regimen to the absolute best of my ability. There is nothing more important than making sure your pet feels as comfortable in their routines and home as possible when mom and dad are away.

10. Kennedy T.
About: I can be very energetic and love playing with high energy dogs. I especially love training dogs and teaching them new skills. I’m also great at comforting animals in their time of need and am very detail oriented; therefore, I pick up on your dog’s cues that others may not! I currently work part time; therefore, I have plenty of time to care for your pets as you need. I am also a college student from Fall-Spring but have summers off. I have lots of dog sitting experience and am great at being your dog’s substitute owner in their time of need. I can be described as a very trustworthy individual and will keep your pets safe to the best of my ability!

11. Maria M.
About: I have cared for cats, dogs, hamsters, and hedgehogs since I was 13 years old! I often cared for senior cats who were 18+ years old so I am very used to giving medications and special diets. I grew up with dogs and am very comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I recently welcomed a puppy, so I also have experience with puppy training. Our home has one resident dog, but I have a two-level house, so I can keep pets separate for boarding. I am happy to send check-in photos of your little buddy while you are away and provide lots of long walks and playtime! I am currently in between jobs as I focus on my online courses, so I am home full-time to care for your babies! All I ask is 3 days' notice for boarding. Every animal's needs are different, and I am incredibly flexible depending on you and your little buddy's needs! For boarding, I have one resident dog that loves all cats and dogs (he is only 12 lbs, so he is not intimidating in the slightest!). I also have a two-story house, so I am able to keep the pets separated if your pet prefers to be the only animal around.

12. Vivian G.
“Vivian is one of the sweetest and most personable people I've ever met. She takes amazing care of her own (equally sweet) pets and is very attentive to their needs. Very clean, patient, and trustworthy!!”

13. Danielle D.
“Danielle is so great with my dog! She loves animals so much and is easy to communicate with. Highly recommend having her take care of your pets!”

14. Chenyi W.
About: Hi I’m Chen, moved to Alton last year and currently working as a Product Manager at a software company. I love animals— I have a mini dachshund and two cats. While I love my puppy dog, cats hold a special place in my heart ❤️ I believe in open communication to build trust with my clients (and the pets haha), and because of that, I have many repeat clients. I’m ecstatic to meet your pet(s) and thankful for considering me. I’m very responsive on Rover, so if you have any question/inquiry, please reach out. Thank you! I am currently working from home. My work schedule is quite flexible, so I have plenty of time to take care of your fur babies. I have a yard (not fenced in unfortunately) at my house and one puppy and two kitties to keep your fur babies company. Your babies will be supervised most of the day unless I am out running errands. If they are fully house-trained, I can just leave them be, otherwise, I will crate them!

15. Claire S.
“My husband and I were worried about going on vacation and leaving behind our fur baby! I have been hesitant about using a doggie day care or kennel service with multiple other dogs. Claire has come to our home on two separate occasions now to dog sit. Once for 4 days and the other she stayed for 10 days. She not only took fantasic care of of our dog, but she cleaned the house!”

16. Payton F.
“Payton was awesome with our 3 cats. One of them needed a little extra care since he was diabetic and required insulin shots twice a day and special food. Not only did she make sure they were fed Payton always took time to give them all the extra love and pets. I would highly recommend Payton to care for your fur babies.”

17. Melanie C.
“Melanie did a fantastic job per sitting out two dogs. The house was just as we left it and the dogs were taken care of.”

18. Gabbi H.
About: Hi, I’m Gabbi, and I have over 6 years of experience caring for other people’s pets! I am new to Rover, but I have multiple pet sitting references that I can provide from customers that have had me hired me for years! I’ve watched dogs of all sizes from Great Pyrenees to Chihuahuas. I’ve handled hundreds of cats so I am used to every personality. I have also cared for reptiles, amphibians, fish, farm animals, and rodents. I’ve watched dogs who need vigorous exercise, as well as the opposite. I’ve cared for puppies and kittens, seniors, and every age in between. I’ve watched a litter of kittens that were still nursing. I have experience with cats and dogs affected by cerebral palsy, deafness, blindness, and other special needs. I am experienced in administering multiple forms of medication. I also volunteer for an animal shelter, which gives me a lot of unique situations and experiences! I have a relatively flexible schedule. I work part time at a dog grooming salon. My shifts are typically 6 hours or less, and I only work up to 3 days a week. I do sometimes have other commitments that are unlikely to take more than 4 hours at a time. I am currently only taking one online college class so that does not interfere with my availability. For people interested in boarding, I have a fenced yard and a 9/yo, 15 lb Shih Tzu who is very friendly. He is laid back and prefers dogs who are also laid back, but has never shown aggression with high energy dogs. I typically walk the dogs I watch at least once a day, but that can vary on the age and/or the activity level of the dog. I can also take them to a park, weather permitting! I always try to keep the pups experience as stress-free as possible, so I listen closely to everything you tell me about your pet. I try to stick to any routine that you guys share, whether that be feeding times, walking times, or anything else! I live in a quiet neighborhood where your dog will be safe with me.

19. Kevin O.
“Kevin has taken care of our pitty mix several times. She is crazy about him and always wants to go with him when she sees him. She loves to go for walks and/or rides with him. He treats her as part of the family. We will always feel comfortable allowing him to watch her.”
