“Caroline took care of my three cats while I was traveling, and I’d hire her again without hesitation. She was reliable and communicative — showed up when she said she would, sent updates so I wasn’t left wondering, and handled the basics (feeding, litter, water, general check-ins) without me needing to micromanage anything from the road. Truly a great experience, and I’d highly recommend her!”

“Nancy was perfect with my cats, no complaints! I appreciate her checking up with them and always giving me a run-down of how it went. I would definitely book again!”

About: I've lived with and cared for animals ever since I was old enough to walk and talk, mostly dogs. In recent years I've gained some training experience from having trained my own three dogs, one of which I had for over 18 years. As of now, I am working to fill out my schedule for house visits, walking, potty breaks, and anything you might need for your angels ❤️. Unfortunately, I cannot house any other animal in my home due to space and the pets I already have, but I am more than happy to stay over with your pet! I bring my own suitcase of food and supplies usually follow a feeding/walking schedule set by you, the client. Any additional rules and or stipulations I will be sure to follow with upmost respect!
About: 25 years of trusted care for dogs, cats, and other animals, with a strong understanding of the complexities and gentle care required for senior pets. All ages will be spoiled with love and attention. I'm available for full time animal care. Whatever needs your pet needs, I will provide with as little disruption to their schedule as possible. I keep their schedule as close to usual as I can, like taking the morning potty break and meals. This is my full-time job and I'm able to stay with your animals during the day too.
“Ricky took great care of my cats and had now issues give my cat her medication twice a day. He sent me frequent updates and let me know they doing well. I’m very happy with him taking care of my cats and definitely recommend him to other pet parents.”

“Mylissa was very sweet, patient, and deft with our dog, even when the dog showed signs of aggression. She was very open to working with us on a care plan that works best for everyone, and we are grateful to her.”

“Lindy was awesome for our cat sitting job! She was very timely, communicated amazingly, and was very responsible/trustworthy. Our cats were very happy and well taken care of. She is a very nice person too! Loved her thank you note and photos. We will hire again!”

“Britt did such a great job taking care of our kitties! We have multiple cats and an unusual situation where we have to keep them separated, so there are multiple feeding areas and litter boxes. Britt handled it all with great care. She also ensured all the kitties got some attention to help them feel OK while we were away. Great sitter!”

“Tara is a gentle and awesome cat and dog sitter. She took care of our 4 cats and senior dog while we were out of town . She walked our dog regularly and played with our cats and sent many photos and updates . I felt totally confident in Tara. I especially appreciated the regular photos and her comments on how each fur brat was doing. We have an escape artist cat who tries to run outside and she was very careful to make sure he did not run outside and sent me photos of him every night to ensure me of his safety. I will definitely book Tara again! She’s the best!”

About: Hi all! I grew up with having dogs my whole life- we had a lab, a pug, and a pekignese, so I have a lot of experience with different sized dogs. My husband is also a big dog lover and grew up fostering many dogs who needed some extra love and care before finding their forever homes. My husband and I have half an acre of grass for your pup to run around in (unfenced) and will treat your dog as our own. We do work during the week in the office, so during the week we are only able to care for dogs that are able to be left at home during the work day. We typically work from home Thursdays/Fridays, and are home all weekend and would love to take care of your dog during weekend trips. Your pup will be in safe care and have a built in cuddle buddy and play partner with our 10 year old Mini Australian Shepherd, Ruby. We’d ideally love to do a meet and greet to ensure we are the right fit to care for your pup. We are primarily available for boarding on the weekends Thursday-Sunday. We both work from home on Thursdays, and my husband works from home on Fridays. We’d also be able to board your pup during the rest of the week if they are able to left alone during the work day. We have an unfenced half acre yard, so please let us know if your dog is okay to be off leash or is a runner. We have no problem keeping your dog leashed if needed and also have an outdoor leash/anchor so they can have some more freedom a well. We will treat your dog as our own which means lots of cuddles! Dogs are allowed on furniture and we will feed according to your preferences and schedules. We do have a medium sized kennel available if needed for your pup.
“Krista did an excellent job. I was impressed with the pictures she sent. Emma was so happy. And she took care of her litter box! Emma is so particular about that. My girl was pleased to see me & wasn’t upset at all so she must have been very pleased with Krista’s presence. 5stars! Absolutely the best!”

“Stephanie was very responsive and easy to communicate with. She took great care of our pups and sent me photos of her time with them. We will definitely call on her again when we need help with our dogs”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Coal Mountain
Nancy and Greg are wonderful! They accepted a last minute request to pet sit over a holiday weekend for us. They were flexible in getting a meet and greet set up, and easy to book with. We are so appreciate of the loving care they showed in taking care of our beloved cat. Nancy visited for the prescribed time every day and provided ample written and photo updates. We felt totally at ease going away and knowing that Chip was safe in Nancy’s care. We will definitely be booking again!

We are so grateful to have found Lindy! Our cats warmed up to her so quickly and it gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. The updates, photos, and little details she shared made us feel completely connected and reassured the whole time. She accommodated my cats medication regime and made me worry free. Coming home to happy, relaxed cats said everything. We trust her completely, will definitely use her again and will recommend her to others!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
