Brenda drops in on my babies 3 days a week and let me tell you, I see the notifications and breathe a sign of relief knowing that my kids are in great hands. “Liberty took incredible care of our two cats! Excellent communication the entire time, sharing very detailed report cards and plenty of pictures and videos of the boys having fun. She gave them lots of attention and quality play time. She went above and beyond in both caring for them and keeping the kitty areas tidy, I highly recommend! Thanks again Liberty! 😊”

About: Hi I’m Liz and I absolutely love animals! When I was younger I was always wanting to help out any animal I could find. I grew up with cats and a dog but once I got married my husband was allergic to cats so I never got to own my own cat. But I foster dogs on the side! I don’t work with any agencies, I just help certain life or death situations or senior pups who were denied proper care. I currently own 7 dogs ranging from all ages puppy to senior. I also own what most people call “difficult” breeds Akitas, Shibas, huskies, German Shepherds, Pomeranians, and Samoyed! I have a few puppies in training at my house and would love to share my knowledge of dogs with others! If you have training questions I’d love to help you and get you on the right track! I can’t wait to meet your pup! I’m currently working full time but I get off at 3-4pm each day and I am off Saturday and Sunday. I have a lot of wiggle room and would love to accommodate any way I can! I want to care for your pet in the same manner you do! I want your pet to feel like I am a second care human they are close and comfortable with. I will follow your instructions to a “T” so they aren’t left missing you too much! Right now I will only be offering your home for services but maybe some day mine as well :)
“Amber is awesome! We initially met for a meet and greet, and we felt very comfortable leaving our puppy with her. She is very attentive and goes above and beyond on drop in visits. Our puppy seems to love her company! I highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve grown up taking care of family and neighbor pets. I also have some experience volunteering and fostering for the animal shelter. When it comes to walks, playtime, some basic training, and even bath time, I can provide loving, reliable care tailored to each pet’s needs. I treat every animal as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I currently work full-time, but I still have flexibility in my schedule and can adjust to your pet’s needs. I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and comfort level, so I’m happy to work with you to make sure they receive the care and attention they need. Whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, check-ins, or plenty of cuddles while you’re away, I’ll do my best to help them feel comfortable, happy, and cared for. While I don’t have a yard, I’m close to several parks—including a brand-new dog park! My home is calm and quiet, perfect for pets who need rest and relaxation.
“kathryn was an absolute pleasure! she did everything we asked her and more. she cat sat for our older cat and she gave us frequent updates each time she stopped by. she had our cat so happy that he probably didn’t even realize we were gone and that’s exactly what we wanted. i would 1,000% rehire kathryn again! she is amazing. your pet(s) will be in the best hands with her :)”

“Raima does a great job of taking care of my older cats … giving medications, cleaning up after them, and updating me on how they are doing. I feel good leaving town knowing she will love on them and that they will be well cared for! I appreciate her willingness to meet to talk over care as well! Having her looking after them while I am away gives me peace of mind, and I am very satisfied with her drop-in visits. Thanks, Raima!”

About: As an experienced pet sitter, I provide dependable, compassionate care tailored to each pet’s unique personality and needs. With a strong understanding of animal behavior and routines, I ensure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding schedules, medication administration, or extra cuddle time, I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your furry family members are in caring, capable hands. 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as a stay-at-home mom. I’m home most of the day, so I’m able to provide regular feedings, walks, playtime, and attention. I plan my schedule around making sure pets are comfortable, exercised, and cared for throughout the day. Being home also allows me to keep a close eye on them and make sure they feel safe and part of the household. I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any medications if needed. I keep their environment clean, give them attention and affection, and make sure they get enough exercise and bathroom breaks. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I treat every pet like part of the family and make sure their routine stays as normal and stress-free as possible.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies and birds before. I’ve had animals all my life growing up and I love giving all of them all my love. Currently looking for a job since I just moved here so I have all the time in the world! Message me if you have any questions! I always provide for my animals. If they need vet care I always take them and always feed and provide them with fresh food and water. They all are very spoiled as well.

“Briana was wonderful with our kitties! She stayed the full time, played with them, opened the window so they could birdwatch, and kept up on their food, water, and litter. She always asked before making any changes (different time, needing to bring her daughter, etc). Would definitely book her again!”

About: My experience pet-sitting (before I joined Rover in 2019) began at age 14 and has consisted of taking care of neighbors and family friends' dogs, eventually getting gigs through personal referrals. Helping others look after their animals and taking care of them as my own while making a few extra dollars is the perfect gig for me! Dog-walking/sitting: I'm pretty active and love the outdoors, so I'm more than willing to take your fur baby on short or long excursions outside. Some of my favorite memories are taking my family's dogs on long walks and spending time with them at the lake. Cat-sitting: I love both cats AND dogs for very different reasons. Dogs are awesome because they're friendly, energetic, and man's best friend! Cats are so different in that they are sooo relaxing, hands-off compared to dogs, and relatively independent. Other animals: I have little experience in this arena but would love to take care of any other pets you may have! I'd love the opportunity to take care of your pets while you're away! :) I work full-time from home when not traveling for my job. Because I love animals and travel too much to have some of my own, pet sitting is the perfect, flexible gig for me! I treat my clients’ pets as my own, so I do let them on the bed or couch to snuggle if that’s something you allow in your home. My personal motto is “leave no trace” typically used for the outdoors, but that is also the standard I abide by when staying in a client’s home.

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for both cats and dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities. From energetic puppies who need patience and training to senior pets who require extra attention, medication, and gentle care. As a lifelong pet owner, I understand that every animal has unique needs, routines, and comfort levels, and I always take the time to make them feel safe, loved, and at home while you’re away. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm companion, I’ll provide dependable, attentive care and treat them like they’re part of my own family. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your pet is in caring, experienced hands. I currently work in office full time from 9-5pm 3 work days of the week and 2 work days I am remote from home. I am willing to come before I go to work and after work - first thing - to come take care of your fur babies! Also on remote days, I will be more available to come and check in or take walks. I provide compassionate care for your pets in the comfort of their own home, following your specific instructions closely. My goal is to ensure they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for during your time away. I understand how important your pets are to you, so I offer regular updates and photos to reassure you that they are happy and content.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Flowery Branch
Sam took great care of my 4 kitties, including one who is a bit, ahem, spicy. Everyone was happy and had all their needs met and routines maintained while I was away. I loved getting report cards on how everyone was doing after each visit, complete with photos of said adorable kitties. Bonus—Sam also brought some packages from my porch inside the house to keep them safe and out of the rain. She was very personable and professional, and I would (hopefully will) absolutely book her to care for my crew again when the need arises. Thanks, Sam!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Flowery Branch. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
