Pet care is naturally woven into my everyday routine. I’m home full-time, so I’m able to give pets my full attention throughout the day—from morning walks to mid-day potty breaks, playtime, and evening snuggles. I love staying active, so I’m always up for a walk or run, and I enjoy making sure dogs get the exercise and interaction they need. My own rescue dog has taught me how important consistency and care are, and I’m happy to adjust my schedule to fit each dog’s unique needs and routine. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, my top priorities are safety, comfort, and keeping your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. In my home, I provide a calm, clean environment where dogs can feel at ease, with plenty of space to relax, play, and get love and attention. I’m happy to follow any specific instructions you provide—feeding schedules, medications, crate training, etc.—and I always keep dogs supervised and secure. If I’m in your home, I treat it with the utmost respect and make sure your pet feels safe and stress-free in their familiar space. I’ll stick to your routines, send updates and photos, and make sure they get the exercise, affection, and care they deserve. Every dog is different, and I always do my best to meet them where they are—whether that means long walks or extra snuggles on the couch.

About: I have a depth and variety of experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’ve worked at a doggy daycare, where I handled multiple dogs at once in group settings, giving me valuable experience with a wide range of breeds and personalities. I’m very familiar with reading canine body language and making sure play stays safe and respectful. I’ve also cared for both puppies and senior dogs, so I’m comfortable adjusting my care to their unique needs—whether it’s helping with early training for a new pup or making sure an older dog is comfortable and supported throughout the day. On top of that, I’ve owned and cared for dogs my entire life, which has taught me to be attentive, patient, and genuinely connected to each dog I spend time with. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. My schedule is currently very flexible and accommodating, which allows me to take on regular walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting as needed. I truly enjoy spending my time with your furry friends, so fitting pet care into my day feels natural and fulfilling, whether it’s a quick walk or an overnight stay. I only offer care in my client’s home, and I always do my best to make sure your pet feels comfortable and safe in their familiar environment. I pay close attention to their behavior, routines, and any specific needs they may have. Whether it’s feedings, walks, playtime, or medications, I follow your instructions carefully and treat your pet and home with the utmost respect and care.

“I cannot recommend Katherine enough! She has been taking care of my dog for a few weeks and I could not be happier with her professionalism and thoughtfulness. My dog was obsessed with Katherine as soon as she met her. I have really appreciated Katherine’s prompt communication. Even before booking, she let me know of a potential scheduling conflict so we could adjust. When she was having phone issues she also made sure to communicate with me so as to minimize disruptions to the walk schedule. One walk was supposed to rain and she checked in before the walk to see how my dog does with rain and tried to adjust to find a window during the day that wasn’t down pouring. My dog is always tired and happy after her time with Katherine. Highly recommend!”

About: My husband and I recently returned from Costa Rica where we volunteered on a dog farm assisting with bathing, grooming and giving lots of love to almost 2,000 rescued dogs that live there. My husband also has a separate rover account under Maxi S. During my high school/college years my mother trained 5 different dogs for guiding eyes for the blind which I helped in the training process as well while home. I also started housesitting and caring for pets of local neighbors at the young age of 10. We have always had dogs in my home. I couldn’t imagine living without a dog. I have experience with dogs of all ages, puppies to senior dogs. I myself have a 9 year old cocker spaniel who thinks she is a human. I understand all pet owners and their pets have different needs and will respect any rules required to give your pet the care they need. I will treat your dog like my own. My family just returned from Costa Rica. My husband and I are both looking for flexible part time work which allow us to still care for our 1.5 year old son. You can also find my husbands separate rover account under maxi S. At the moment our schedule is open and flexible but as we find work our schedules will be changing depending. We have a good sized yard which is not fenced in but in a quiet neighborhood with a cul-de-sac. I don’t usually crate my dog, but if your dogs are crated I am familiar with crate training. I am a flexible person and am able to modify based on your pets needs.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I have 2 dogs now - one senior who is slow and needs lots of care and the other is young and active. I’ve watched and walked dogs for friends and family for the past 20 years. I’d love to help you with your family’s furry friend. I work from home so my schedule is flexible. I’m generally home on the weekends and love to take my dogs for long walks every day. I am available to come let your dog out, take your dog for a walk or jog, or whatever else is needed during the day.

“Samantha was very prompt and thorough with her communication. She was great with our dog and gave updates when she arrived and provided a picture too!”

“I was so grateful to find Allie and can’t wait to use her in the future. I don’t have animals but my parents and in laws do who we watch often. It was so nice to have peace of mind while I’m at work that they were taken care of. Allie came over to do a meet and greet before hand and the dogs immediately felt comfortable and loved her. She is responsible, caring, and a total animal lover. I can’t wait to use her in the future and will definitely recommend her to everyone I know!”

About: What sets me apart from other dog sitters is my hands-on experience and deep understanding of canine care. I’ve worked in a professional kennel, which gave me valuable insight into dog behavior, health, and daily routines. At home, I care for my own large German Shepherd, so I’m comfortable handling big, high-energy breeds. I’ve also regularly watched my sister’s dog and other dogs, both short-term and for extended stays, so I know how to create a safe, comfortable environment that feels like home. My combination of professional and personal experience means your dog will be treated like family—with structure, love, and attention tailored to their needs. After working with animals and having my own dog I wanted to incorporate that into my life, so I have plenty of time to hang out and take care of your puppies. I am available throughout the day and would love to spend time with your loved ones! I have a very friendly German shepherd at home, who you are more than welcome to meet, and I walk him multiple times throughout the day and your dog will be able to join us. I also have a crate if you want your dog to be in the crate I also have the ability to do that.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats my whole life typically at least 2 dogs and 2 cats at one time. I am a natural animal lover and caretaker. I trained corgis for almost 10 years. I now have two cats and a dog of my own. I usually pet sit for friends or for my parents who have 3 dogs, 3 cats including a senior dog. I've established my own clients weekly and on an as needed basis. I am open to all types of pets and needs. I work from home so I am pretty flexible during the week with my days. I will always take my work schedule into account before accepting anything. If in need of dog boarding, your dog would have to listen well to be in our unfenced yard (i would leash or put them on the long line) and they would have to be ok with cats. If I were to go to your home, I understand this is a super personal space and a bit nerve wracking having someone there, trust me I feel the same when I have someone take care of my pets! I will treat your space with respect and make sure to follow your instructions.

“Gabby was very patient with my rescue pup. She came right on time for the walk, and was very good at updating me. Definitely consider her for your drop in/ routine dog walking needs.”

About: Hello! I grew up with large dogs and upon moving out from my home have had dogs, fish, and cats ever since. I have cared for large dogs, small dogs, and cats for over 20 years. I currently have three incredibly friendly and easy going dogs, including a remarkable Labrador retriever pup. I am currently retiring from a career in federal law enforcement. I am available most days and nights for your pets care. I understand the importance of pet diets, exercise, and socialization and make it a priority. My home is my pets home. We have a large 1.5 acre invisible fenced in yard surrounded by woods and a long front yard away from the road. The other dogs tend to stick together and my lab puppy learned the yard by just following around our German shorthaired pointer and older mastiff. Any other questions just ask!

“Allie was so responsive and flexible to our needs. She really helped us out while were gone for a long day and she sent tons of pictures from her walk with our dog. I would definitely recommend her anytime!”

About: Hey there! My dog sitting experience goes back to when I was 10 and became the neighborhood dog sitter. I took care of dogs as small as 10 pounds and as large as a Great Dane. I continued walking dogs in college through Wag! My own dog has suffered many health problems due to his breed. Through him, I've gained experience with supporting him in his recovery of a back injury, eye problems, and two emergency surgeries after swallowing items whole (he's not the brightest dog out there). I'm patient and will not leave a dog until I know I have done everything in my power to make sure they are safe and comfortable. Lastly, I know it can be uncomfortable to have a stranger enter your home and take care of your pet. I am always open to meeting in a public space ahead of time. I am currently unemployed and therefore available all days and times. I do appreciate a heads up incase I am scheduling a job interview or traveling. With my own dog, I have learned to make sure the home is free of toys and choke sized objects, even though my dog is no longer a puppy. If I am caring for a dog that has been inside all day, I will go out of my way to make sure they have a thorough walk and chance to empty their bladder. While working with Wag! I would communicate any concerns or changes in a dog to their owner.

About: Hi There, My name is Christina. I was a micro farm manager for four years. I grew up surrounded by animals in the litchfield hills on a miniature horse farm.💙Maremma mom forever. I have years of sitting experience with elderly dogs and medical needs. I also have grooming experience. Some minor professional dog training experience and lots of time and success with anti-social/aggressive dogs. It's more than just loving animals. It's dedication and intelligence about their care, habits, and nature. It's being sensitive and aware of them at all times. It's experience and passion. I haven't lived a day that isn't with and about animals. As an artist and a real estate agent, my schedule is entirely my own. It's whenever is needed for my clients. Even if it's just a quick visit, I can make it happen! It's important to get a full profile understanding of my client and their pets so that when they are in my care, I can give them a seamless experience from their owners to me. The most important goal of caretaking is to offer true relief to my clients. Personally, I can hardly be separated from my Koda, so it's beyond clear to me the significance of having a caretaker who listens, remembers, and that is undeniably trustworthy.

Sarah S.
“I've known Sarah for over a decade and would highly recommend her as a pet caregiver. She's taken care of our dogs, fish, chickens, and plants and done a great job. I've also seen how well she does taking care of pets that require a higher level of care such as young kittens, very large dogs, and animals with medical needs. She's very responsible and adept with animals. When she commits to anything she gives it her all, and this is especially true for taking care of pets. She's the first person I go to for dogsitting and plant care when I go out of town.”

Tina A.
“There's few other people who I would trust with your pets! She will treat your furry friends as her own! Christina is just so lovely and as a fellow Rover sitter I would totally recommend her!”
