“Morgan is so incredibly thoughtful and wonderful with our two fluff’s. She leaves very detailed reports and always checks in if unsure of anything. Thank you Morgan!!”

“Kristen and Kenneth are wonderful. They took good care of our girl Ollie white we were out of town for the day. Kristen even walked Ollie in the rain-now that is above and beyond! We will definitely use them again!”

About: I’m currently in my "borrow all the dogs" era. With three busy kids and nonstop activities, owning a dog isn't in the cards right now, but loving on yours absolutely is! I've been around dogs my entire life and have always been a dog lover. Growing up, my family had three dogs, a cat and a pig, which gave me years of experience caring for and interacting with pets of different personalities and needs. As an adult, I rescued two dogs from a local animal shelter. They were my first babies. My oldest dog passed away 3 years ago. As a special education teacher with nearly 20 years of experience, I am patient, dependable, and attentive. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and cared for while you're away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they are in good hands. I’m a teacher on summer break trying to earn some extra money while I have the availability. During the summer and throughout the week, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive care, walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. I have no pets of my own currently, so I am able to give lots of love to your pet. I have a fenced in backyard and enjoy being outside. I maintain routines, such as following their feeding schedule, walks/playtime and potty breaks. Providing in-home care in a client’s home I respect the pet’s routine and the owner’s home. I’m happy to provide pictures, too. My goal is to help your pet feel secure, happy and well-cared for while in my care.
About: I've been taking care of dogs almost all my life. I've had so many different breeds in my lifetime. I love all kinds of animals but definitely have to say dogs are my favorite! I work on my time. I book cleanings and caregiving help to older adults. So if I have a job for sitting lined up I just don't accept any cleaning jobs. I do sitting, walking, and boarding. I can accommodate up to two large dogs and I have a safe area for walks and playtime. I also can come to pets home if needed to do potty breaks ect.
“Valery is so sweet! Our puppy, Ripley, took to her immediately, which was a relief because she can be shy. Valery is responsive and even gives our cats a little attention when she comes in. We are going to keep her coming every week for our girl.”

About: I've taken care of dogs ever since I was twelve when my family got the first dog. I have always loved animals and have since owned three cats and volunteered at numerous animal welfare organizations. I currently work full-time, but I have the availability to come visit and walk throughout the week and ensure your pet gets let out in a timely manner. I absolutely spoil my cat and plan to grow my family in the near future! I would treat your pet as my own throughout their duration of care.
About: I have been obsessed with dogs since I was little. Always wanting to have one, pet one, and just interact with one. I currently have a GSD, who is a handful, that I love dearly. I’m currently working 12 hour shifts with a rotating schedule. My available days change every week, but I know my schedule very far out in advance. I am very mindful of doors being closed all the way before and after taking your furry baby for a walk. Will provide them with water and treats before and after. I can also put them back into their crate before leaving if required.
“brittany was wonderful . great communication . made me feel so comfortable with her handling my bog and being in my house . she treats your pet like it’s her own! so glad i picked her up!”

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life and am well-versed in taking care of them. I love taking my dog on walks and playing fetch! I am very patient and kind, especially with animals. I am a student so especially during the summer my schedule is pretty wide open. My nights are usually free and most times during the day as well. My dog gets fed morning and night with treats throughout the day to supplement. In our home, we love lick mats, popsicles, and anything involving enrichment!
“Patrick is so lovely with our two dogs. The little one can be a bit resistant at times - and he’s won her over after one walk. Patrick is a great communicator and incredibly reliable.”

About: I have a 11 year old maltese shitzu her name is daisy! I love all sizes of dogs, my daisy loves long walks! She’s on a strict feeding schedule so i’m great with thoroughly being at your animals service! I am currently home for the summer from college soy schedule is extremely flexible! I’m a great day sitter and could be open to overnights. I have a big yard at my house and room to go on long walks on the neighborhood! I would prefer to care for your dog at your home over mine.
About: I spent time during jr. high and high school as a volunteer at a therapeutic farm. We spent time with recused animals. I learned how to groom, handle, and clean up after horses and dogs mostly. We then partnered these rescue animals with children who had been through traumatic situations. They would help each other cope with their past traumas. I also have been employed as a dog bather and animal care technician in the past. I believe due to my past experiences and my love for animals, I will be the perfect companion for your furry friend. Whether it’s a run, playtime in the dog park, pet sitting or just checking in at your home; I will be there when I’m needed. I am very flexible in my availability and I look forward to working with you and your fur babies!

About: From taking care of neighborhood, strays and loving next-door pets. I’m now doing door-to-door service with your loved pets and I’m willing to provide the best service possible! I work part-time during the week and I’m saving money to go to college at Indiana State University! I’m here day or night morning or evening rain or shine! I want to give you and your pet the most relaxing and homely experience possible. I’ll do it to ensure I’m providing the best experience possible tailored to your needs.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
