“Kristen and Kenneth were great. Our cats were shy and didn’t come out much but were still well cared for and they appreciated the clean water, litter, and full bowls each day.”

“Maggy was amazing with our cat Taco! Taco loves attention and she got it from Maggy. She played with Taco, brushed her, sat with her and watched tv with her (which Taco loves to do with me). Maggy even kept our Christmas tree watered while we were gone and left our sinks dripping water during the below zero night we had. She thought of everything. Thank you Maggy for doing such a wonderful job. We look forward to reuniting you and Taco in 2026.”

“Lanie was absolutely wonderful to my two cats! She was open to learning their schedule/feeding routine. I have a rescue cat who doesn't like most people and he jumped right in her lap! I'm so happy to have had Lanie while I was gone, and I hope she's available the next time I need to go out of town.”
About: Hi, my name is Mary and I love dogs! I am an empty-nester and in Feb. of 2017 lost my beloved Tino who was almost 15 yrs old. I have been on Rover since March, 2017 and feel that every dog I have taken care of is an angel sent to me from Tino. :0) I am very active and enjoy walking morning and evening. I work a full time job but now am only in the office 2 days/week. I have a large, fenced in back yard where your dog can play and relax. If they need an afternoon potty break, I can arrange that for an additional fee. I like to watch a couple dogs at time as long as they get along, but can arrange private sittings for an additional fee.
About: I have experience caring for pets through every stage of life. I have trained dogs from puppyhood, so I understand the patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement young pets need while learning routines, boundaries, and basic commands. I’m comfortable working with energetic puppies and helping maintain the training methods owners are already using. I also have firsthand experience providing senior pet care through caring for my 18-year-old cat. That experience has taught me how important gentle care, attention to behavior changes, medication routines, and creating a calm, comfortable environment can be for older pets. I truly treat every pet like family and focus on making them feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I have flexible multiple days a week. I’m able to accommodate walks, feeding schedules, playtime, medication needs, and check-ins without feeling rushed. I also have availability on weekends, which helps me support pets and owners who need extra flexibility for travel or busy schedules. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy making part of my daily life. I focus on creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for pets whether I am caring for them in my home or in a client’s home. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and any specific care instructions. In a client’s home, I make sure pets feel secure in their familiar environment while also keeping owners updated with messages and photos. In my home, I provide a clean, pet-friendly space with plenty of attention, supervision, and opportunities for exercise and enrichment. I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities, so I prioritize patience, consistency, and compassionate care to help them feel comfortable and loved while their owners are away.
“Brittany came in clutch when I needed a last minute sitter. She was extremely professional, polite, and great with my pup! I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter!”

“Lori did a wonderful job with Cocoa! Cocoa is usually quite reserved, but I could tell from the daily photos that she warmed up to Lori quickly and loved their playtime together. It put me at such ease knowing she was in great hands every day. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of various animals since I was a child. I love big cats and big dogs, but any fur babies will do! One of my cats was diabetic, so we had to give him insulin injections twice a day for years. My Rottweiler that passed away last year had bad hips and so we had to give him pills 3-4 times a day. I’ve also done pet care for friends and family over the years. Taking in their dogs for a few days while they travel, or taking care of their cats while they are in the hospital. I’m a teacher looking for a part time gig to help pay my bills. So while school is in session, my availability will primarily be on the weekends, however, I might be able to squeeze a few weeknights in too! I am only interested in doing walking services and drop ins. I would come by and take your pet on a walk, so they could get fresh air, go potty, and sniff all of the things. Or for a drop in I could do that and check in their food and water, give them snuggles and scratches, and play with them a bit.
“Katie was wonderful with my kitties while I was away! They’re very shy but she got them pretty comfortable with her in just a couple days. On top of that she was thoughtful, leaving a light on for them at night and turning on the A/C on days when the apt got warm. She was super communicative and when they were running low on food, agreed to accept a delivery in my absence. I came home to two happy little faces!”
About: I've cared for pets for over 5 years and have experience with both dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to provide loving, reliable care. I'm comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, administering basic medications, and following specific routines to keep pets happy and comfortable while their owners are away. I'm a college student home for the summer with a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets. I'm available for drop-in visits, walks, and pet sitting throughout the week and on most weekends. I always do my best to accommodate each pet's routine and needs. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special care requests. I treat every pet as if they were my own and provide updates so you can feel confident they're receiving attentive, reliable care while you're away.

“Alexis is dependable and goes above and beyond when she can. She thinks of things to make the visit better and is intuitive in the questions she asks. I will definitely ask her back.”

About: I’ve had cats my whole life and started pet sitting other people’s pets in high school. I’ve looked after all types of pets such as hermit crabs, rats, rabbits, cats, and dogs. Since then I’ve adopted two kitties of my own and I can’t wait to look after yours! I am happy to stop by for drop in visits before or after my shifts at work or on my days off, send me a message for more specific scheduling. I am very comfortable navigating your home to your needs. I am happy to follow any instruction given and will make sure your fur baby is happy and safely taken care of.

Clermont cat parents share their Rover experiences
Lexus was absolutely fantastic with our cats! She kept our social cat entertained during her visits and engaged as much as possible with our shy cat too. She sent us lots of photos, so we felt better knowing our cats were happy while we were away! It’s great coming back to full food bowls, clean water bowls and clean litter boxes after a weekend away. We’ll definitely rebook next time we go out of town. Thank you, Lexus!!!

Robin has been outstanding! She's so positive, reliable and understanding of our situation and needs. Her communication with us is thoughtful and proactive. But most important is her kind and loving care of our Leonard. She sends daily photos which help us feel better about being apart. Can't say enough good things about Robin.

Brittany cared for my four cats while I was out of town for work, even last minute some days, and was SO accommodating! She not only took care of my boys, she also checked on my house while I was gone too. They fell in love with her and would leave her toys at the door everytime she came over ❤️ I would recommend Brittany for anyone needing their fur babies taken care of! She learned all their personalities, shared stories and pictures with me, and made me feel comfortable being away. 10/10!!

Maggy was amazing with our cat Taco! Taco loves attention and she got it from Maggy. She played with Taco, brushed her, sat with her and watched tv with her (which Taco loves to do with me). Maggy even kept our Christmas tree watered while we were gone and left our sinks dripping water during the below zero night we had. She thought of everything.
